本発明は、複数のユニットを敷き詰めることによってフロアリングを形成するフロアリングユニットに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
オフィス等の床は、床下に配線等をおこなうことや、部分的な交換が容易なことから、正方形のカーペットユニットを敷き詰めている場合が多い。
カーペットユニットを使用すれば、配線を変更する場合に必要な部分のカーペットユニットを取り外すだけで配線のし直しができる。
また、人通りの多い経路や椅子の下等のカーペットが痛みやすいところだけを交換することもできる。

【本発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記した従来のカーペットユニットにあっては、次のような問題点がある。
<イ>カーペットユニットは、埃がたまり易い上に掃除がし難いためダニなどの害虫の温床となり易い。このため、不衛生である。
<ロ>カーペットユニットは、必要なときに剥がしやすいように、接着力の弱い接着剤で床に固定されている場合が多い。このため、薄いカーペットユニットは端部が剥がれたり、反りあがったりしやすい。
<ハ>カーペットユニットは化学製品のみで製作されている場合が多く、古くなったカーペットユニットは処分しにくい。このため大半が埋立処分となり、ごみを増やす原因となっている。

【本発明の目的】
本発明は上記したような従来の問題を解決するためになされたもので、簡単に設置でき、清潔なフロアリングユニットを提供することを目的とする。
また、配線などで凹凸のある床面にもきれいに敷き詰めることができるフロアリングユニットを提供することを目的とする。特に、端部の反り上がり、跳ね上がり又はがたつきがほとんど発生しないフロアリングユニットを提供することを目的とする。
さらに、部分的に取り外したり、敷き直したりが容易におこなえるフロアリングユニットを提供することを目的とする。
本発明はこれらの目的のうち少なくとも一つを達成するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記のような目的を達成するために本発明のフロアリングユニットは、複数枚の短冊状の板材を並べて形成したフロアリングユニットであって、短冊状の板材の長手方向に略直交する方向に隣接する板材間を、ほぞと溝との組み合わせによって構成し、かつ、そのほぞと溝とはきっちりと嵌合するように形成せず、屈折自在に接続し、前記板材の長手方向に隣接する板材間も、屈折自在に接続し、フロアリングユニットの下面のみに緩衝材を貼り付け、フロアリングユニットの側面には、目地材として、外力によって変形しやすい材料を貼り付けて構成した、フロアリングユニットを特徴とするものである。

【本発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照しながら本発明の実施の形態について説明する。

<イ>フロアリングユニット
フロアリングユニット1は、複数枚敷き詰めてフロアリングを形成する。
例えば、一辺が30〜100cmの正方形状のフロアリングユニット1が使用できる。
フロアリングユニット1は、複数の板材2と、下面に取り付ける緩衝材3とで構成し、必要に応じて側面に目地材4を取り付ける。

<ロ>板材
板材2は、フロアリングユニット1の表面を形成する短冊状の板材である。
複数の短冊状の板材2を組み合わせて、一つのフロアリングユニット1にする。
板材2は、広葉樹板材、各種の間伐材、公知の合板等から製作できる。例えば10mm程度の厚みの板材2を使用する。
板材2の長手方向に伸びる側面の一方には例えば台柱状のほぞを設け、反対側の他方の側面にはほぞに合わせる溝を設ける。このほぞと溝は、きっちりと嵌合するようには形成せずに、外力によって接続した板材2が屈折するような組み合わせとする(図2参照)。
この他にも、蝶番やシート材等を介在させることによって、板材2間を屈折自在に接続することもできる。

<ハ>緩衝材
緩衝材3は、フロアリングユニット1の下面を形成する面材である。
例えば、発泡ウレタン、ゴム、流動体を注入した可撓性袋体、半球状の凹凸を設けた薄い金属板等が使用できる。緩衝材3をフロアリングユニット1の下面に配置することで、床面の凹凸を吸収し、フロアリングユニット1の表面を平らにすることができる。
緩衝材3は、板材2を決められたユニットの形状に拘束する役割も果たす。
また、緩衝材3の一方の端部に凸部31を設け、反対側の他方の端部を凸部31の形状に嵌合するような形状に切り込んで凹部32を形成することができる。隣り合うフロアリングユニット1a,1bの凸部31と凹部32を嵌め合わせることで、フロアリングユニット1a,1b間をしっかりと連結することができる(図3参照)。なお、凸部31と凹部32の形状は、図3のようなT字形に限られるものではなく、任意の形状を選択することができる。当然、緩衝材3の端部を等幅で帯状に突出させ、反対側の端部を等幅で切り込むだけでもよい。

<ニ>目地材
目地材4は、フロアリングユニット1間の隙間を埋める材料である。目地材4を配置することで、フロアリングユニット1のずれやがたつき又は跳ね上がり等を抑えることができる。
目地材4は、フロアリングユニット1の側面に貼り付ける。
目地材4には外力によって変形しやすい材料を使用する。例えば、緩衝材3と同様の材料が使用できる。

<ホ>接合手段
接合手段は、フロアリングユニット1を床面に固定する手段である。
接合手段は、必要に応じて使用すればよい。すなわち、フロアリングユニット1がずれたりする心配がない場合は使用する必要はない。
接合手段には、例えば取付具61,62を重ね合わせることによって接合し、引き離す方向に引張ることによって剥がれ、着脱が何度も繰り返しおこなえるような公知の接合手段が使用できる。
例えば緩衝材3の中央を切り抜き、一方の取付具61をその切り抜いた中央部に貼り付ける。そして、他方の取付具62を床面の所定の場所に接着剤などで固定する。この取付具61は、中央部でなくても端部付近に帯状に貼り付けてもよい。
また、接合手段は、着脱が容易におこなえる程度の粘着力の弱い公知の接着剤であってもよい。その場合は、緩衝材3の下面又は設置する床面に接着剤を塗布する。

<ヘ>フロアリングユニットの組み立て
例えば正方形の緩衝材3の上に、フロアリングユニット1の半分の長さの板材2を貼り付ける。
板材の長手方向に略直交する方向に隣接する板材2a,2b間の接続は、ほぞ等を設けて屈折自在にする。図1は6本の板材2を前後2段、合計12本使用してフロアリングユニット1を形成した場合の実施例である。なお、各板材2の幅及び長さや、フロアリングユニット1に使用する本数は任意に選択することができる。
長手方向に隣接する板材2a,2c間は、突き合わせるだけでもよいし、ほぞ等を設けて屈折自在に接続してもよい。

また、板材2を交互にずらして配置することもできる。
例えば、端部に配置した板材2dよりも、その隣りに配置する板材2eの端部を突出させる(図4参照)。これを交互に繰り返して、端面が出入りするような形状とすることができる。この場合、同じ長さの板材2d,2eを使用することで、反対側の端面は逆のパターンで出入りするようになる。

<ト>フロアリングユニットの敷設
フロアリングユニット1を床面に敷き並べる。
例えば、端部の緩衝材3に凸部31と凹部32を設けたフロアリングユニット1a,1bを敷設する場合は、床に設置したフロアリングユニット1aの凸部31に別のフロアリングユニット1bの凹部32を嵌め合わせるようにして敷設する。
また、端面が交互に出入りしたフロアリングユニット1cには、逆のパターンで出入りした端面のフロアリングユニット1cを、緩衝材3が板材2eの下方に差し込まれるようにして設置する(図4参照)。
また、フロアリングユニット1の固定は、例えば所定の間隔で床面に取付けた取付具62に、フロアリングユニット1の取付具61が重なるようにして固定する。

本発明のフロアリングユニット1は、下面に緩衝材3を有する。このため、床面に配線などの凹凸があっても、その凹凸を吸収してきれいに並べることができる。
また、屈折自在に板材2が接続されているため、フロアリングユニット1内で凹凸を吸収でき、端部が浮き上がることがない。特に、凸部31や凹部32に成形した緩衝材3を介してフロアリングユニット1間を接続する場合は、端部の跳ね上がりなどを抑えることができる。
また、板材2はカーペットに比べて厚みがあり、剛性も高いため、端部の反り上がりを抑えることができる。
さらに、目地材4によってフロアリングユニット1間の隙間を塞ぐことができるので、余裕量を見込んでフロアリングユニット1を敷設しても、フロアリングユニット1がずれたりすることがない。

本発明のフロアリングユニットは以上説明したようになるから次のような効果を得ることができる。
<イ>フロアリングユニットは、埃がたまり難く清潔である。また、所定の大きさのユニットを敷き並べるだけなので簡単に設置できる。
<ロ>緩衝材を下面に取り付け、板材間を屈折自在に接続したため、端部の反り上がり、跳ね上がり又はがたつきを抑えることができる。
<ハ>所定の大きさのユニットを着脱自在に敷き並べるため、部分的な取替えや、配線等の必要に応じて取り外しや敷き直しが容易におこなえる。
