図2に示す如く、自動車のフロントウインドF、クオーターウインドQ、バックウインドBのような窓ガラスは、車体の窓枠に固定して取付けられている。即ち、図3に示す如く車体パネル即ちボディアウターBO及びボディインナーBIの端部のフランジFよりなる窓枠に、断面略コ字状のウインドシールドトリム6が、その車外側の短辺部6aと車内側の長辺部6bで上記フランジFを挟むように取付けられている。そして、窓ガラスGは上記ウインドシールドトリム6にダムテープ7を介して取付けられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、図2に示す如く窓枠の湾曲したコーナー部Cでは、図3に示す如くウインドシールドトリム6は、車内側の長辺部6bが内方に大きく傾斜して取付けられる必要があるため、ボディインナーBIとの間に大きな段差Dを生じフラット感がなく外観を悪くするという不具合があった。このように、車内側の長辺部6bを内方に大きく傾斜して取付ける理由は、窓枠のコーナー部Cでない直線部Tに取付けられるウインドシールドトリム6の場合のように短辺部6aと長辺部6bとが平行の状態でコーナー部Cに取付けられた場合、長辺部6bが車内側の方に大きく倒れるいわゆる口割れ現象を生じつまり湾曲部での追従性が悪くなる。そのため、上記従来のコーナー部Cの如く長辺部6bを予め内方に大きく傾斜させて取付け、口割れ現象を防止し追従性を良くしたものである。
そこで、本発明はかかる従来の課題に鑑みて、窓枠の湾曲したコーナー部でも追従性を良くし、かつ従来の如く車内側の長辺部を内方に大きく傾斜させることなく外観を損なわないようにした自動車のウインドシールドトリムを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
かかる目的を達成するために本発明の構成は、図1及び図2に示すように、フロントウインド等の如く窓ガラスGを車体の窓枠に固定して取付けるための自動車のウインドシールドトリムにおいて、窓枠の湾曲したコーナー部CのフランジFを挟むように断面略コ字状に形成されたウインドシールドトリム1が、車外側の短辺部2と車内側の長辺部3とを略平行に形成されると共に、ウインドシールドトリム1の長辺部3の内面側3bはフランジFと略平行とされ、これに埋設された芯金4の長辺部5が、ウインドシールドトリム1の長辺部3の内面側3bよりもフランジF側に傾斜されて成ることを特徴とする自動車のウインドシールドトリムである。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の実施例を図に基づいて詳細に説明する。図1において、1は自動車のウインドシールドトリムで、車外側の短辺部2と車内側の長辺部3とが略平行な断面略コ字状に形成され、係止爪2a、3aを介し窓枠の湾曲したコーナー部CのフランジFを挟むように取付けられている。また、ウインドシールドトリム1内には断面略コ字状の芯金4が埋設され、この芯金4の長辺部5が所定角度θ内方に傾斜されている。そのため、このウインドシールドトリム1の長辺部3の形状は、開口端部側が上記芯金4の長辺部5の傾斜した部分を補う如く厚肉Sになっており、従って内面側3bは挟着するフランジFと略平行になり従来の如く内方に大きく傾斜しない。上記ウインドシールドトリム1の車外側に窓ガラスGが固着されており、また上記窓枠はボディアウターBO及びボディインナーBIの端部のフランジFである。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明の自動車のウインドシールドトリムは、窓枠の湾曲したコーナー部に取付けられる部分においても、車外側の短辺部と車内側の長辺部とを略平行に形成し、上記トリムの車内側の長辺部内に埋設された芯金の長辺部が、所定角度内方に傾斜されているため、コーナー部での取付け時の追従性が良くなり、従来の如くトリムの車内側の長辺部を内方に大きく傾斜させないで済み外観を損なわないという特長がある。
