Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for cultivating a standing tree such as an urban area or a road with frequent traffic stably without trouble.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Standing trees such as urban areas and roads with frequent traffic are preferable for improving the general life. However, if they are not well-maintained, weeds will grow and the standing trees will die, making them unsightly.
However, it has been extremely difficult and expensive to maintain the trees that are scattered in the city area and roads with frequent traffic, etc., constantly and beautifully.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for cultivating such standing trees in an urban area, etc., which keeps the standing trees beautifully and stably without much trouble.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In this invention, the said subject was solved by using bamboo powder.
That is, the method of the present invention is characterized in that the soil upper layer 4-15 cm around the root of the standing tree is replaced with a bamboo powder layer made of bamboo powder having a particle size of 0.2-2 mm.
[0005]
The bamboo powder layer is preferably formed by spreading and pressing the bamboo powder around the root of the standing tree in a state where the bamboo powder is wetted with water (wet state).
[0006]
When bamboo powder exists in a thick layer like this, even if weed seeds fly in the wind, they can be easily removed even if weeds grow without rooting. Furthermore, bamboo powder is excellent in adhesive strength and does not flow out like earth and sand even in heavy rain, so the landscape around the standing trees can always be kept constant. Furthermore, since bamboo powder also has an appropriate water retention property, it is possible to prevent the soil from drying and prevent the standing trees from withering.
[0007]
Therefore, according to the method of the present invention, it is possible to always keep the standing trees beautiful without requiring special care in a green belt or the like in an area where traffic is frequent.
[0008]
If the bamboo powder layer is less than 4 cm thick, it is difficult to completely prevent weeds from growing, and if the layer is thicker than 15 cm, not only is it uneconomical, but the shallow rooted trees are not Since the soil is reduced, it is not preferable for growth. The thickness of the bamboo powder is particularly preferably about 5 to 10 cm.
[0009]
The bamboo powder used in the present invention may be either sawed or pulverized by a pulverizer, but was produced by the method described in Japanese Patent Application No. 6-275769. Things are uniform and easy to handle. In addition, the kind of bamboo is not specifically limited, Any of sochiku, madama, hachiku, kurotake, etc. can be used anymore. The grain size of the bamboo powder may be about 0.2 to 2 mm, but it is preferably about 0.5 to 1.2 mm, particularly about 0.5 to 1 mm from the viewpoint of water retention and ease of handling.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, this invention is demonstrated according to an Example.
Example 1
Prepare two rows of green belts each planted 30 satsuki on the same road, with the satsuki rooted, one green belt cleanly removes weeds, the other green belt pulls out weeds, The upper layer of the soil is removed to a thickness of about 5 cm. Instead, a bamboo powder having a particle size of about 0.5 to 0.7 mm mixed with the same amount of water and stirred is laid to a thickness of about 7 cm, and the surface is covered. It was trimmed and crushed with a scoop to a thickness of about 5 cm.
When these two green belts were left as they were for one year, the green belts that had only had weeds removed first were covered with weeds, and about 1/3 of the satsuki was withered. In the green belt with soil covered with powder, all the satsuki was kept healthy with virtually no weeds growing.
[0011]
Example 2
In a park of the same soil, weeds were removed in a circular shape of about 3m each around two 5-year-old cherry trees of the same thickness, while the soil around one cherry was removed with a thickness of about 10cm. A bamboo powder of about 0.6 to 1 mm mixed with the same amount of water was laid on a thickness of about 15 cm and used after being moistened.
Around the cherry blossoms laid with bamboo powder, even if left undisturbed for a year, weeds that would be substantially unobtrusive were not grown, and the growth of the cherry blossoms was very remarkable.
In contrast, the area around the cherry blossoms without bamboo powder was covered with weeds three months after weed removal, and the growth of the cherry blossoms one year later was not good.
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
In the method of the present invention, it is possible to stably and beautifully keep the surroundings of standing trees such as green belts without weeds, and to promote their growth without dying the standing trees even if water is not supplied normally. Can do.
Therefore, it is possible to always keep the standing trees beautiful on the roads where the traffic is frequent without causing any obstacles to the traffic.
