ドア強閉時に、図5及び図6に示す如く自動車ドアのコーナー部等の車体開口縁部パネルKに、ドアサッシュD1が接触するいわゆるパネルタッチを生じたり、ウエザーストリップWのアウターリップが反転するが、これの対策としてオーバーストローク防止を図るためドアサッシュD1にストッパー8を取付けている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記の如くドアサッシュD1にストッパー8を取付けることは、外観を損なうと共に、ドアサッシュD1の孔明け及び別部品のストッパー8の調達が必要となってコスト高となるという問題がある。
そこで、本発明はかかる従来の課題に鑑みて、外観を損なわずかつ安価なドアウエザーストリップを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
かかる目的を達成するために本発明の構成は、図1〜図4に示すように、ドア閉時に、車体開口縁部パネルKに接触する恐れのあるドアサッシュD 1 のコーナー部に取付けられたドアウエザーストリップWであって、該ドアウエザーストリップWの型成形部1の取付基部1aの室内側からストッパー取付部2を延出し上記ドアサッシュD1のコーナー部に沿う如く形成させると共に、該ストッパー取付部2に、上記型成形部1の取付基部1aより下側または室内側に、ソリッド材のストッパーゴム3を後付け又は同時一体成形により取付けたものである。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の実施例を図に基づいて詳細に説明する。図1及び図2は本発明の第1実施例を示し、ウエザーストリップWがドアサッシュD1に取付けられた場合であり、1はドアウエザーストリップWの型成形部で、図2に示す自動車ドアのコーナー部のドアDに取付けられる。2はストッパー取付部で、型成形部1の取付基部1aから延出され、ドア閉時に、車体開口縁部パネルKに接触する恐れのあるドアサッシュD1の所定部位Sに沿う如く形成されている。
そして、該ストッパー取付部2に明けられた孔2aに、ソリッド材のストッパーゴム3が嵌め込まれて後付けにより取付けられている。或いは、このストッパーゴム3は、型成形部1との同時一体成形により取付けられる。

上記構成により、ドア強閉時、ドアサッシュD1の所定部位Sが車体開口縁部パネルKに接触しようとしても、上記ストッパーゴム3が介在するため接触する即ちメタルタッチすることがなく、また上記ストッパー取付部2が型成形部1から延出形成されているため、従来の如くストッパーがドアサッシュD1に直接取付けられた場合のように外観を損なうことがない。なお、上記ストッパーゴム3の取付け位置はドアサッシュD1の形状上の制約から上記型成形部1の取付基部1aより下側または室内側が好ましい。

図3は本発明の第2実施例を示し、ウエザーストリップWがドアサッシュD1に取付けられた場合であり、ストッパーゴム4が型成形部5の中空シール部5aとシールリップ5bとに覆われた状態で所定部位S1に取付けられている。
図4は第3実施例で、ウエザーストリップWがドアサッシュD1に取付けられた場合を示し、ストッパーゴム6が図1、2の場合と略同様にストッパー取付部7に取付けられている。また、両ストッパーゴム4、6は後付け又は同時一体成形により取付けられ、作用効果も図1、2の場合と同様にメタルタッチを防ぐと共に外観を損なうことがない。

以上説明したように本発明のドアウエザーストリップは、ドア閉時に、車体開口縁部パネルに接触する恐れのあるドアサッシュまたはドアインナーパネルの所定部位に、型成形部からストッパー取付部を延出してストッパーゴムを設けているので、従来の如くドアサッシュまたはドアインナーパネルに直接ストッパーを設けた場合に比べ外観を損なうことなくかつ安価となるという特長がある。
