上記目的を達成するために、本発明は、車体に一端部が枢着されたチェックプレートの他端部に、ドア全開時に、チェックプレートを挟持するガイド部材に当接する合成樹脂製のストッパー部が一体的に設けられた自動車用ドアチェッカーにおいて、
上記チェックプレートは、芯材を合成樹脂材で被覆して構成され、該合成樹脂材に上記ストッパー部が一体成形される一方、該ストッパー部のガイド部材への当接面は円弧状に形成されていると共に、該ストッパー部の近傍の芯材に通し穴をあけて、合成樹脂材がストッパー部の上下を通るようにしたことを特徴とする自動車用ドアチェッカーを提供するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明によれば、ストッパー部のガイド部材への当接面は、平面では無く円弧状に形成しているから、車体への取り付け関係のばらつきで、ストッパー部がガイド部材に面対面で当接しないような場合でも、円弧状の頂点、つまり、ストッパー部の中心が常にガイド部材に当接することになるので、ストッパー部に偏荷重が作用しなくなる。
