Description

【0001】

【0046】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sand-containing artificial lawn, and more particularly, to a sand-containing artificial lawn that can maintain a good touch feeling and appearance for a long period of time.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, for example, when constructing a tennis court, an artificial lawn containing sand that is inexpensive in introduction and maintenance, and has a relatively close appearance and a grounding feeling similar to a natural lawn is frequently used.
Here, the sand-containing artificial lawn refers to one in which a large number of synthetic resin piles are planted on a planar base fabric, and fillers such as mesh sand are filled between these piles.
Such sandy artificial lawn, when piles of the same form are evenly and densely planted, reminds viewers of hair brushes, toothbrushes, etc., and gives the impression that the turf surface is harder than it actually is . If such an impression is given to the athlete, the athlete may not be able to perform, for example, drastic sliding in consideration of the hardness of the turf surface, and the personality of the competition may change.
[0003]
In addition, when the filler is solidified by competition spikes, sand-filled artificial lawns reduce the gaps between the fillers, and the filler layer gradually solidifies from the deep layer, resulting in a good grounding feeling obtained at the beginning of construction. As a result of the loss, various problems arise.
For example, when the packed bed is solidified, the cushioning property is lowered and a heavy burden is placed on the athlete's legs, or the athlete tends to hit and fall. Further, since the solidification of the packed bed often occurs partially, there is a problem that the bounce and rolling of the balls used in various ball games differ depending on the place.
For these reasons, artificial lawn with sand is strongly required to maintain the appearance that gives a soft impression to the viewer and the good grounding feeling obtained at the beginning of construction, similar to natural lawn. ing.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in order to satisfy the above-mentioned demand, for example, artificial lawn with sand (conventional example 1) in which a split yarn obtained by applying a number of cuts (split processing) to a tape-like pile is planted on a base fabric, or the height of each other is increased. An artificial lawn containing sand in which different first crimped yarns and second crimped yarns are mixed and planted on a base fabric (refer to Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 3-156001: Conventional Example 2) has been proposed.
[0005]
According to the conventional example 1 and the conventional example 2, the split yarn or the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn behave in a bending spring inside the filling layer, thereby suppressing the solidification of the filling layer. It is said that the good grounding feeling obtained initially can be maintained over a long period of time.
In the conventional example 2, the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn having different heights are mixed and planted in the base fabric, so that it is compared with a sand-containing artificial lawn in which piles of the same form are uniformly planted. Thus, it is said that an appearance that is more similar to that of a natural lawn can be obtained, thereby giving a soft impression to the viewer.
[0006]
However, even in the conventional example 1 and the conventional example 2 as described above, when the filler is tamped by a competition spike or the like, the split yarn or the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn are bent springs in the filled layer. There was a problem that voids for behavior disappeared and a desired effect could not be obtained.
This problem occurs not only in tennis courts that use sand-containing artificial lawns but also in gateball courts, soccer grounds, rugby grounds, etc. that use artificial sand-containing lawns.
The present invention has been made to solve such a conventional problem. The purpose of the present invention is to approximate the appearance of a natural lawn that gives a soft impression to the viewer and a good grounding feeling obtained at the beginning of construction. It is to provide an artificial lawn containing sand that can be maintained for a long time.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been devised by the present inventors paying attention to the characteristics of a crimped yarn obtained by crimping a split pile in a tape shape.
In other words, the tape-shaped, split-type crimped yarn has a circular arc-shaped protruding portion between the cuts (splits). Therefore, when used in sand-containing artificial lawns, the protruding portion is filled inside the packed bed. A fine void that is difficult to penetrate is formed, and the filler that has entered the void is discharged to the outside along with the bending spring behavior.
[0008]
The inventors of the present invention can more closely approximate a natural lawn as compared with the conventional lawn if a split type crimped yarn and a monofilament type crimped yarn are mixed with the base fabric in such a tape shape. It is predicted that the appearance that gives a soft impression to the viewer can be obtained, and that this appearance and the good grounding feeling obtained at the beginning of construction can be maintained over a long period of time. ), Mixed planting ratio, crimping rate (maximum length / natural length), crimping degree (number of mountains / 2.54 cm), etc. Changes and durability were measured and investigated.
As a result, the present inventors set the split-type crimped yarn to be lower (shorter) than the monofilament-type crimped yarn, and each of these crimped yarns is set to 2: 8 to 8: 2. It has been found that an artificial lawn with sand that exhibits the desired effect can be obtained if it is mixed with the base fabric at a ratio of.
[0009]
Therefore, in order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, a first crimped yarn and a second crimped yarn lower than the first crimped yarn are mixed in a base fabric. In the artificial lawn containing sand filled with a filler between the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn, the first crimped yarn is a monofilament type, and the second crimped yarn is in a tape shape. The split type is characterized in that the ratio of the first crimped yarn to the second crimped yarn is 2: 8 to 8: 2.
[0010]
In this case, the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn may be mixed with the same tuft hole in the base fabric, or only one of them may be planted.
On the other hand, when only the first crimped yarn or only the second crimped yarn is planted in the predetermined tuft hole, the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn are planted so that they are alternately arranged. It may be planted in a random manner.
[0011]
The invention described in claim 2 is characterized in that the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn are different from each other in at least one of a crimping rate and a crimping degree. In this case, the crimp rate is the ratio of the natural length to the maximum length (maximum length / natural length) when the crimped yarn is stretched linearly within a range in which the crimped yarn is not elastically deformed. It is preferable to set the crimp rate higher (larger) than the crimp rate of the first crimped yarn. The degree of crimp is the number of crimps per 2.54 cm (1 inch).
According to the second aspect of the invention, the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn having different crimping rates or crimping degrees can randomly create voids having various shapes and sizes in the packed bed. It is formed. Therefore, compared with the case where the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn have the same crimping rate or degree of crimping, the packed layer is effectively suppressed from solidifying from the deep layer portion, A good grounding feeling can be maintained for a longer period of time.
[0012]
Furthermore, the invention described in claim 3 is characterized in that the second crimped yarn has a height protruding from the filler.
In the invention described in claim 3, since the tip of the second crimped yarn protrudes from the filler to increase the volume feeling of the turf surface, the appearance is further improved. Further, for example, even if the first crimped yarn is stepped on and falls down by a competitor, etc., the tip of the second crimped yarn pushes back the first crimped yarn to stand up. The feeling can be maintained.
The invention described in claim 4 is characterized in that the diameter of the first crimped yarn is 50 denier to 1000 denier. In other words, since the first crimped yarn is moderately thin, the appearance is improved along with the appearance.
[0013]
Furthermore, the invention described in claim 5 is characterized in that the degree of crimp of the second crimped yarn is 0.5 ridges / 2.54 cm to 7 ridges / 2.54 cm.
In this case, when the degree of crimp of the second crimped yarn is less than 0.5 crest / 2.54 cm, the filler easily enters the void formed inside the packed bed and enters the void. However, it is difficult to discharge the filler to the outside, and when the degree of crimp exceeds 7 peaks / 2.54 cm, the second crimped yarn tends to fall down.
Therefore, in the invention described in claim 5, such problems do not occur.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment according to the present invention. The sand-containing artificial lawn 10 of this embodiment is laid on a concrete base material 12 placed on a foundation ground 11 in order to construct an athletic field such as a tennis court.
The artificial lawn 10 with sand has a first crimped yarn 21 and a second crimped yarn 22 lower than the first crimped yarn 21 on a base fabric 13 formed into a plane shape from polypropylene in a ratio of 2: 8 to 8-8. : After being mixed and planted on the base material 12, the filler 14 such as mesh sand is filled with the deck brush between the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22, Thereby, the filling layer 15 is formed.
As the filler 14, for example, plastic particles or rubber particles may be employed in addition to the mesh. In the present invention, the artificial lawn including such an artificial lawn using the filler is called sand-containing artificial lawn.
[0015]
The first crimped yarn 21 is a monofilament type and has a diameter of 50 to 1000 denier.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, the second crimped yarn 22 is a split type in which a number of cuts (splits) 22A are formed in a tape-shaped pile. These cuts 22 </ b> A are irregularly formed so as to penetrate in the thickness direction of the second crimped yarn 22 and to be continuous in the longitudinal direction of the second crimped yarn 22. Therefore, the second crimped yarn 22 becomes a protruding portion 22B that is curved in an arcuate shape at the portion sandwiched between the cuts 22A along with crimping (see FIG. 2B), and the second crimped yarn 22 and A gap 23 is formed between the protrusion 22B.
[0016]
Such a second crimped yarn 22 has, for example, a height (length) at which the tip protrudes from the filling layer 15 and has a crimp of 0.5 mountain / 2.54 cm to 7 mountain / 2.54 cm. Have.
The crimped degree of the second crimped yarn 22 is such that the average value of all the second crimped yarns 22 planted on the base fabric 13 is 0.5 thread / 2.54 cm to 7 threads / 2.54 cm. The average value of the plurality of second crimped yarns 22 extracted at random may be 0.5 / 2.54 cm to 7 / 2.54 cm.
[0017]
The first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 are crimped by a knit-denit manufacturing method or a jet manufacturing method.
And these 1st crimped yarn 21 and the 2nd crimped yarn 22 are planted in the state twisted in multiple numbers with respect to the tuft hole formed in the base fabric 13 (refer FIG. 1). .
[0018]
When the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 are mixed with the base fabric 13, only a plurality of the first crimped yarns 21 or the second crimped yarns 22 are provided for a specific tuft hole. May be planted. In this case, the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 may be planted so as to be alternately arranged, or may be planted so as to be arranged in a random manner, and the first crimped yarn 21 and the first crimped yarn 21 and The 2nd crimped yarn 22 should just be mixed and planted by the ratio of 2: 8 to 8: 2.
[0019]
According to the sand-containing artificial lawn 10 of the present embodiment as described above, the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 lower than the first crimped yarn 21 are mixed with the base fabric 13, and Since the filler 14 is filled between the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22, an appearance that is relatively close to that of a natural lawn can be obtained, and a good grounding feeling obtained at the beginning of construction can be obtained. Can be maintained for a long period of time, and the same effects as conventional artificial grass with sand can be obtained.
[0020]
On the other hand, according to the sand-containing artificial lawn 10 of this embodiment, since the second crimped yarn 22 is a tape-shaped split type, the portion sandwiched between the cuts (splits) 22A is filled in the filling layer 15. A fine gap in which it is difficult for 14 to enter is formed, and the filler 14 that has entered the gap is discharged to the outside along with the bending spring behavior.
Therefore, according to the sand-containing artificial lawn 10 of the present embodiment, the good grounding feeling obtained at the beginning of the construction can be maintained for a longer period than the conventional sand-containing artificial lawn.
[0021]
Moreover, according to the artificial lawn 10 with sand of the present embodiment, the first crimped yarn 21 is a monofilament type, and therefore the turf tip having a good texture constitutes the uppermost part of the turf surface. Therefore, in the uppermost part of the turf surface, the turf tip faces in a random direction and is located at different heights, and conventional sand in which piles of the same form are planted uniformly and with high density Compared to the artificial grass, it is more similar to natural grass and has an excellent appearance that gives the viewer a soft impression.
In this embodiment, since the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 are mixed with the base fabric 13 at a ratio of 2: 8 to 8: 2, the above-described grounding feeling can be maintained and Acquiring excellent appearance is compatible at a high level.
[0022]
Further, if the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 are formed so that the crimping ratios or the crimping degrees are different from each other, there are no voids of various shapes and sizes in the packed bed 15. As a result, the solidification of the packed bed can be effectively suppressed as compared with the case where the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 have the same crimp rate.
Further, by setting the length of the second crimped yarn 22 so as to protrude from the filling layer 15, the volume of the turf surface compared to the case where the second crimped yarn 22 does not protrude from the filling layer 15. As the feeling increases, the first crimped yarn 21 that has fallen upon being stepped on by an athlete or the like is pushed back to stand up, so that the voluminous feel of the grass surface obtained at the beginning of construction can be maintained.
[0023]
Then, by setting the first crimped yarn 21 to a moderately thin diameter of 50 denier to 1000 denier, it is possible to obtain a good touch as well as appearance.
Further, the second crimped yarn 22 has a crimp degree of 0.5 / 2.54 cm to 7 / 2.54 cm, so that the filler 14 can be easily formed in the void formed in the packed layer 15. Or the filler 14 that has entered the gap does not remain and does not easily fall on the filling layer 15.
[0024]
【Example】
Next, the height (length), crimp ratio (maximum length / natural length), crimp degree (number of peaks / 2.54 cm), ratio and filling of the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 After actually constructing the artificial lawn 10 with sand, changing the filling height of the material, measuring and investigating changes in the feeling of ground contact and changes in appearance, and evaluating based on these, after explaining based on Table 1 Based on Table 2, a comparative example will be described.

[0027]
In addition, as a change in the feeling of ground contact, when constructing the artificial lawn 10 with sand, Gmax measured immediately after filling the filler 14 between the piles with a brush is displayed as Gmax before use, and then by a predetermined compacting machine. Gmax measured after compressing the turf surface 10,000 times was displayed as Gmax after use. That is, the evaluation of the feeling of ground contact is better as the value of Gmax before use is smaller, and as the difference between the value of Gmax before use and the value of Gmax after use is smaller, the evaluation is better.
In addition, as a change in appearance, a plurality of outdoor athletes observe the turf surface conditions at the time of Gmax measurement before use and Gmax measurement after use, and the appearance before use and the appearance after use are compared with the appearance of natural grass. Based on the fact that it is approximated to, it was evaluated in three stages: ◎ ... very good, ○ ... good, △ ... possible.
[0028]
Furthermore, as for durability, the multiple outdoor athletes described above evaluated the difficulty of falling piles in three levels: ◎ ... very good, ○ ... good, △ ... good.
When multiple types of piles are used in each of the examples and comparative examples, 5/32 gauge and 3 stitches are alternately tufted to the base fabric 13, and a single type of pile is used in each comparative example. If it was, the base fabric 13 was tufted with 5/32 gauge and 3 stitches.

Monofilament type crimped yarn having a height of 20.0 mm, a crimping rate of 3.60, a crimping degree of 3.50 mountain / 2.54 cm, a height of 15.2 mm, a crimping rate of 4.20, and a crimping degree of 3 .48 threads / 2.54 cm tape-shaped split-type crimped yarns were mixed with the base fabric 13 in a ratio of 80.5: 19.5. As a result of filling the filler 14 to a height of 17.7 mm between these crimped yarns, the Gmax before use was 81, the Gmax after use was 87, the appearance before use was evaluated as ○, and the appearance after use was evaluated as ○ to Δ The durability was evaluated as △.
[0044]
From the above evaluations, it can be seen that each example can obtain a good grounding feeling and excellent appearance in a high dimension, and can maintain the grounding feeling and appearance for a long period of time as compared with each comparative example.
In particular, when Examples 1 to 3 are compared with Comparative Examples 6 and 7, Examples 1 to 3 have a ratio of the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 of 2: 8. In addition, since it is 8: 2, it can be seen that the change in the feeling of grounding is reduced and the appearance and durability are remarkably improved.
[0045]
Further, in Example 4 and Example 5, the crimp ratios of the first crimped yarn 21 and the second crimped yarn 22 are clearly different. It can be seen that the durability is improved as the amount of the toner decreases.
And since Example 6 and Example 7 have the length which the 2nd crimped yarn 22 protrudes from the filling layer 15, compared with another Example, there is almost no change in a feeling of grounding, In addition, it can be seen that the appearance and durability are further improved.
[0046]
It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and improvements, modifications and the like within the scope that can achieve the present invention are included in the present invention.
For example, in the above-described embodiment, the tuft holes formed in the base fabric are mixed and planted in a state where a plurality of first crimped yarns and a plurality of second crimped yarns are twisted one by one.
Only an arbitrary number of first crimped yarns or only second crimped yarns may be planted in the tuft hole, and the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn are in a certain area from 2: 8 to It only has to be mixed at a ratio of 8: 2.
When only the first crimped yarn or only the second crimped yarn is planted in the tuft hole, the first crimped yarn and the second crimped yarn are planted so that they are alternately arranged. It may be planted in a random manner.
[0047]
Furthermore, the present invention can be applied not only to artificial sand-containing lawns adopted for construction of tennis courts but also to construction of gateball courts, soccer grounds, rugby grounds, and the like.
In addition, the first crimped yarn, the second crimped yarn, the base fabric, the material of the filler, the filler, the material, shape, dimensions, form, number, arrangement location, etc. are arbitrary as long as the present invention can be achieved. And is not limited.
[0048]
【The invention's effect】
According to the invention described in claim 1 of the present invention, it is possible to obtain an appearance that is more similar to a natural lawn and gives a soft impression to the viewer as compared with the prior art, and is obtained at the beginning of construction. A good grounding feeling can be maintained over a long period of time.
According to the invention described in claim 2, solidification of the packed bed can be effectively suppressed by randomly forming voids of various shapes and sizes in the packed bed.
On the other hand, according to the invention described in claim 3, the voluminous feel of the turf surface can be increased, and the voluminous feel of the turf surface can be maintained by pushing back the first crimped yarn that has been stepped on by the athlete or the like. .
[0049]
Furthermore, according to the invention described in claim 4, since the first crimped yarn is moderately thin, a good touch as well as appearance can be obtained.
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the filler easily penetrates into the gap formed inside the packed bed, or the filler that penetrated into the gap does not remain, and the second crimped yarn is Does not fall easily.
