【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、複数物品を所定の集積形態で一括して箱詰めする集積物品の箱詰め装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
複数の物品を集積して所定個数の単位で包装箱に詰め込む装置として、例えば特開平9−2404号公報に開示の箱詰め装置が存在する。この箱詰め装置では、開閉可能なシャッター上に複数の物品を整列載置した後、この集積物品を吸着盤により整列状態のまま上方から一括して保持する。そして、シャッターを開放した状態で、該シャッターの下方で待機状態にある包装箱を上昇すると共に吸着盤による吸着保持を解除することで、集積物品を包装箱に箱詰めするよう構成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前述した箱詰め装置によれば、箱詰めされる物品の前記吸着盤による吸着保持面が平面である小箱等の物品に対しては確実な吸着保持ができ、良好な箱詰めが可能である。しかし、例えばビスケットその他の袋詰め物品を、その横シールが略直立する立った姿勢で整列した物品等を吸着保持して箱詰めを行なおうとすると、個々の物品吸着を良好に行なうことができず、箱詰めに際して物品が吸着盤から脱落して整列状態が崩れ、箱詰めを良好に行なえない難点がある。

【発明の目的】
本発明は、前述した課題を好適に解決するべく提案されたものであって、袋詰め物品等のように吸着保持に問題があるような物品においても、整列状態を維持して良好に箱詰めを行ない得る集積物品の箱詰め装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を解決し、初期の目的を達成するため、本発明に係る集積物品の箱詰め装置は、
箱詰め待機位置に臨む上方が開口する包装箱に対して複数の物品を集積した集積物品を箱詰めする装置であって、
前記箱詰め待機位置に臨む包装箱の開口上方における箱詰め位置で前記集積物品の下面を支持可能に配設され、該集積物品が箱詰め位置まで移送された後に、物品下面の支持を解除して箱詰めを許容し得る位置まで移動するのに伴い、上流側の物品搬送コンベヤから移送されてきた集積物品の下面を支持可能な受け渡し位置まで水平移動により後退する可動ベッドと、
前記物品搬送コンベヤの移送終端で集積物品を受け取って可動ベッドに受け渡した後に、物品が移送方向と交差する幅方向に一列の集積状態となっている集積物品を、該可動ベッドの水平前進移動と共に可動ベッドの前部まで押送して前記箱詰め位置まで移送する移送手段と、
前記箱詰め位置に移送された集積物品を、前記移送手段とにより物品移送方向の前後で挟持する挟持手段と、
箱詰め位置において可動ベッドによる下面支持を解除した後、前記移送手段と挟持手段とで挟持された集積物品を上方より押し下げて包装箱の開口上方から包装箱内に詰め込む突落し手段とから構成したことを特徴とする。

物品搬送コンベヤの移送終端において前記袋詰め物品横シールが移送方向の前後位置で略直立した姿勢で該物品が移送方向と交差する幅方向に一列の集積状態で受け取った集積物品を、前記箱詰め待機位置に臨む包装箱の開口上方における箱詰め位置まで水平に移送する物品プッシャーと、
前記箱詰め位置において前記集積物品の下面を支持可能に配設され、前記物品プッシャーと共に水平に前進移動して箱詰め位置まで集積物品移送た後に、物品下面の支持を解除して箱詰めを許容し得る位置まで移動するのに伴い前記物品搬送コンベヤから移送されてきた集積物品下面を支持可能な受け渡し位置まで水平移動により後退するよう設定される可動ベッドと、
前記箱詰め位置まで移送された集積物品を、前記物品プッシャーとにより前記横シールを前後位置にして挟持する挟持手段と、
詰め位置において可動ベッドによる下面支持が解除された際に、前記物品プッシャーと挟持手段とに挟持されている集積物品を上方より押し下げて前記包装箱の開口上方から包装箱内に詰め込む突落し手段とから構成したことを特徴とする。

【作用】
請求項1に係る発明の箱詰め装置では、受け渡し位置まで水平に後退移動した可動ベッドに、上流側に接続される物品搬送コンベヤから集積物品が受け渡されてその物品下面が支持される。この可動ベッドが箱詰め位置まで水平に前進移動すると共に、集積物品は移送手段により該ベッドに沿って箱詰め位置まで移送され、この箱詰め位置において集積物品は可動ベッドで下面が支持される。また箱詰め位置まで移送された集積物品は、移送手段と挟持手段により挟持される。次いで、可動ベッドが受け渡し位置へ水平に後退移動することで箱詰め位置における集積物品の下面の支持が解除され、前記移送手段と挟持手段で挟持されている該集積物品を突落し手段により上方から押すことで、集積物品は箱詰め位置の下方の箱詰め待機位置に臨む包装箱に詰め込まれる。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明に係る集積物品の箱詰め装置について、好適な実施例を挙げて、添付図面を参照しながら、以下詳細に説明する。なお説明の便宜上、前後とは、可動ベッド上での集積物品の移送方向に対応し、その下流側を前、上流側を後と指称するものとする。

図1は、実施例に係る箱詰め装置を示す概略構成図であって、該箱詰め装置10は、横ピロー包装機等により例えば被包装物としてのビスケットが個包装された袋詰め物品(以下単に「物品」とも称す)11を移送する物品搬送コンベヤ12を備える。この物品搬送コンベヤ12は、物品移送方向と交差する幅方向に離間する一対の無端チェン13,13と、両チェン13,13間に架設されて走行方向に等間隔で離間する複数の物品搬送バー14と、該搬送バー14の上下の走行路の間に水平に配置された物品搬送ベッド15とから構成され、該ベッド15に載置された物品11を、物品搬送バー14により後述する受け渡し位置まで移送するよう構成されている。

前記物品搬送ベッド15の上面には、幅方向の略中央に中央仕切りガイド16が移送方向に沿って配設されると共に、該中央仕切りガイド16を挟む幅方向両側に側部ガイド17,17が平行に配設され、これら3個または3つのガイド16,17,17によって2つのレーンR,Rが幅方向の左右に画成されるようになっている。各レーンR,Rでは、図1に示す如く、被包装物を挟む両側に横シール11a,11aが施されている前記物品11が、その横シール11a,11aを移送方向の前後で略直立させた立った姿勢で、幅方向に所定個数づつの単位で整列された状態で前記物品搬送ベッド15上に載置される。3個のガイド16,17,17は、上側の走行路を走行する前記物品搬送バー14と干渉しない高さ寸法に設定されており、両レーンR,Rに臨んで幅方向に一列で集積された複数の物品11からなる集積物品Wは、ガイド16,17,17より上方に延出する後側の横シール11aに物品搬送バー14が当接した状態で、3個のガイド16,17,17に沿って移送されるよう構成される。なお、前記3個のガイド16,17,17は、物品搬送コンベヤ12の移送終端(物品搬送ベッド15の最下流端)まで延在し、後述する可動ベッド18へ集積物品Wを受け渡すまで案内するようになっている。また、左右のレーンR,Rで異なる数または異なる種類の物品11を整列するよう構成され、実施例では図1において右側のレーンRに4個の物品11を整列し、左側のレーンRに3個の物品11を整列している。

前記物品搬送コンベヤ12より下流側に、箱詰め装置10を構成する可動ベッド18が、その上面レベルを前記物品搬送ベッド15の上面レベルと略同一として配設されている。この可動ベッド18は、図2および図3に示す如く、装置10の機枠19に配設されて物品移送方向と平行に延在するガイドレール20に摺動自在に配設され、図示しない駆動手段に連結する揺動レバー21の揺動に伴い、ガイドレール20に沿って移送方向の前後に水平移動するよう構成される。可動ベッド18は、物品搬送コンベヤ12に近接する後退位置まで移動した際には、該コンベヤ12の移送終端より下流側に設定された受け渡し位置に後部が臨み、物品搬送コンベヤ12から移送される集積物品Wを受け渡し位置で下面から支持して受け渡しを許容するよう構成される(図4(a),(b)参照)。このとき、可動ベッド18の前部は、後述する箱詰め待機位置に臨む包装箱22の開口上方から離間して集積物品Wの箱詰めを許容するよう設定される。また、可動ベッド18が物品搬送コンベヤ12から離間する前進位置まで移動した際には、前記箱詰め待機位置に臨む包装箱22の上方に設定された箱詰め位置に前部が臨み、該包装箱22の上方で集積物品Wを下面から支持するよう構成される(図5(b)参照)。

前記機枠19における可動ベッド18を挟む幅方向両側に保持部材23が夫々配設され、両保持部材23,23には、可動ベッド18の上部で物品移送方向に延在する一対の物品ガイド24,24が幅方向に離間して平行に配設され、前記物品搬送コンベヤ12から可動ベッド18に受け渡される集積物品Wを、両物品ガイド24,24で整列案内するようになっている。両物品ガイド24,24における前記受け渡し位置に臨む上流部は、所要角度だけ内側(可動ベッド18の幅方向中央側)に向けて傾斜するよう折曲され、この折曲部24a,24aでの間隔が、下流側に向かうにつれて徐々に狭くなるよう設定される。すなわち、前記物品搬送コンベヤ12から可動ベッド18に受け渡される際に前記中央仕切りガイド16の厚み分だけ隙間を生ずる集積物品Wの幅寸法を縮めて、該集積物品Wの幅方向両側が両物品ガイド24,24に略当接する整列した状態で案内し得るよう構成される。また物品ガイド24,24は、図1および図2に示す如く、箱詰め位置まで延在し、集積物品Wが箱詰めされる際に該物品Wの幅方向両側を案内する機能も有する。なお、両物品ガイド24,24の高さは、可動ベッド18上の集積物品Wを移送する後述の物品プッシャー25と干渉しない寸法に設定される。また両物品ガイド24,24は、集積物品Wの集積寸法に応じて間隔調節可能となっている。

前記可動ベッド18の上方には、前記物品搬送コンベヤ12から可動ベッド18への集積物品Wの受け渡し、および可動ベッド18上の集積物品Wの移送を行なう移送手段としての物品プッシャー25が配設される。この物品プッシャー25を移動する移動機構26は、図3に示す如く、可動ベッド18の真上から左方に離間する位置に臨む機枠19に配設された幅方向に離間して対をなすブラケット27,27を、物品移送方向に離間して2組備える。各組のブラケット27,27間に回動自在に枢支されて幅方向に延在する枢軸28の両軸端に、アーム29が夫々一体的に回動可能に配設されている。また幅方向の各側で前後に位置するアーム29,29にレール30が枢支されており、幅方向に対向する一対のレール30,30は、4本のアーム29,29,29,29を図示しない駆動手段で前後方向へ所要角度だけ回動することにより、前後方向に弧状に揺動するよう構成される。

前記前後の押送部材33,34は、図3に示す如く、L字形の支持部材33a,34aと、該支持部材33a,34aに配設された押し具33b,34bとから構成され、物品プッシャー25が水平に前進移動する際に、該押し具33b,34bにより可動ベッド18上の集積物品Wを移送するよう構成される。前記後押送部材34は、図4(b),(c)に示す如く、前記物品搬送コンベヤ12から後退位置に移動した可動ベッド18への集積物品Wの受け渡しを行なうと共に該ベッド18の所定位置まで移送するべく機能する。また前押送部材33は、図5(b)に示す如く、後押送部材34により可動ベッド18の所定位置まで移送された集積物品Wを、前進位置まで移動した可動ベッド18の箱詰め位置に臨む前部まで移送すると共に、該集積物品Wを後述する挟持部材36との間で挟持するべく機能する。

前記前押送部材33は、前記両物品ガイド24,24の離間寸法より僅かに短かい幅寸法に設定されると共に、移動機構26により下降された際には両物品ガイド24,24の間に臨んで下端が可動ベッド18上面に近接する位置に臨んで、集積物品Wの後側全面(横シール11a)に当接した状態で移送するよう設定される。また後押送部材34は、両物品ガイド24,24の離間寸法より長い幅寸法に設定されると共に、移動機構26により下降された際には下端が両物品ガイド24,24の上方に臨んで、該ガイド24,24から上方に突出する集積物品Wの後側上部に当接して移送するよう設定される。なお、物品プッシャー25が移動機構26により上昇して後退移動する際に、各押送部材33,34が可動ベッド18または物品搬送コンベヤ12上の集積物品Wと干渉しないように設定される。

前記両保持部材23,23の下流部に、図3に示す如く、前記可動ベッド18を跨ぐ門形の取付部材35が配設され、該取付部材35の両垂直部35a,35a間に、前記物品ガイド24,24の下流端より後方に臨む挟持手段としての挟持部材36が架設される。この挟持部材36は、前記物品プッシャー25の前押送部材33における押し具33bと協働して、箱詰め位置まで移送された集積物品Wを、前記横シール11a,11aを前後位置にして挟持するべく機能する。すなわち実施例では、物品プッシャー25と挟持部材36とで、集積物品Wを箱詰め位置で挟持する挟持手段が構成される。

前記取付部材35の水平部35bに、幅方向に離間する2本のガイドロッド37,37が昇降自在に配設され、両ガイドロッド37,37の下端間に突落し手段としての突落しプッシャー38が配設されている。また、水平部35bに倒立配置したエアシリンダ39の下方に延出するピストンロッド39aが突落しプッシャー38に連結されており、エアシリンダ39を正逆付勢することにより、該プッシャー38は、前押送部材33と挟持部材36とで挟持されている集積物品Wと干渉しない上方の上動位置(図5(b))と、該集積物品Wを前押送部材33と挟持部材36との間から押し下げて箱詰め待機位置に臨む包装箱22に押し込む下動位置(図5(c))との間を移動するよう構成される。なお突落しプッシャー38は、前押送部材33と挟持部材36および前記両物品ガイド24,24と干渉することなく、集積物品Wの上面全体に当接して集積整列状態のまま押し下げ得る寸法に設定されている。

図2に示す如く、前記前押送部材33と挟持部材36とで集積物品Wが挟持される箱詰め位置より下方に、物品移送方向と直交する方向に包装箱22を移送する箱搬送コンベヤ40が配設されている。この箱搬送コンベヤ40は、物品移送方向に離間する一対の無端チェン41,41と、両チェン41,41間に架設されて走行方向に等間隔で離間する複数の箱搬送バー42と、該搬送バー42の上下の走行路の間に水平に配置された箱搬送ベッド43とから構成され、箱搬送ベッド43に載置された上方が開口する包装箱22を、箱搬送バー42により箱詰め位置の直下における箱詰め待機位置まで移送するよう構成される。なお実施例では、包装箱22の開口部を覆うためのフラップ22aが物品移送方向下流側で垂直に立上がった状態で包装箱22が移送され、箱詰め待機位置に到来した該包装箱22のフラップ22aは、前記挟持部材36の後側に臨むよう設定される。

【実施例の作用】
次に、本発明に係る集積物品の箱詰め装置の作用につき説明する。

前記箱詰め装置10では、図4(a)に示す如く、前記可動ベッド18が物品搬送コンベヤ12に近接して後部を受け渡し位置に臨ませた後退位置に位置し、前記物品プッシャー25は、その移動機構26のレール30,30が上昇すると共にスライダ32が後退した待機位置に臨んでいる。また前記突落しプッシャー38は上動位置に臨むと共に、箱搬送コンベヤ40で箱詰め待機位置まで移送された上方が開口する包装箱22がリフター44により持上げられて、その開口上面が可動ベッド18の下面近傍に臨んでいる。

この状態で、集積物品Wの箱詰め作業を開始すると、横ピロー包装機等によりビスケットが個包装された袋詰め物品11は、物品搬送コンベヤ12の各レーンR,Rにおいて、横シール11a,11aが略直立すると共に該横シール11a,11aを前後位置にした立った姿勢で複数(実施例では4個と3個)に整列された状態で、前記物品搬送バー14が各物品11の後側の横シール11aに当接して受け渡し位置に向けて移送される。前記集積物品Wが物品搬送コンベヤ12の移送終端まで移送された所要のタイミングで、前記移動機構26が作動して物品プッシャー25が下降すると共に前進移動を開始し、前記後押送部材34によって集積物品Wを前進移動させるように受け取り、受け渡し位置に臨む前記可動ベッド18の後部に受け渡すと共に所定位置まで移送する(図4(b),(c)参照)。なお、集積物品Wが受け渡された以後の適宜のタイミングで、可動ベッド18も前部を箱詰め位置に臨ませる前進位置まで移動する。

また、前記物品搬送コンベヤ12から可動ベッド18に受け渡される集積物品Wは、前記中央仕切りガイド16から離間することで該ガイド16の厚み分だけ隙間を生ずるが、前述したように前記物品ガイド24,24の折曲部24a,24aを通過する際に幅が徐々に狭められ、該集積物品Wは幅方向両側が物品ガイド24,24に略当接した状態で移送される。従って、集積物品Wが受け渡し時に倒れて集積状態が崩れることはない。

前記箱詰め位置まで移送された集積物品Wが、物品プッシャー25の前押送部材33と前記挟持部材36とにより物品11の横シール11a,11aを前後位置とした状態で挟持された後に、前記可動ベッド18が後退位置(受け渡し位置)まで移動することで、該集積物品Wの下面支持が解除される。次いで、図5(c)に示すように、前記突落しプッシャー38が上動位置から下動位置に向けて下降することで、該プッシャー38が集積物品Wを上方から押し下げて、該集積物品Wは箱詰め待機位置に臨む包装箱22に箱詰めされる。このとき集積物品Wは、その物品移送方向の前後が前押送部材33と前記挟持部材36とで案内されると共に、幅方向両側が前記物品ガイド24,24で案内されるから、該集積物品Wは整列状態が維持される。また、前記包装箱22はリフター44により所要高さだけ上昇されて、その開口上面が箱詰め位置の集積物品Wに近接しているので、該集積物品Wの安定した整列集積状態での詰め込みが達成される。

このように、実施例の箱詰め装置10では、箱詰め位置において可動ベッド18で下面が支持されている集積物品Wを物品プッシャー25と挟持部材36とで挟持し、該ベッド18による下面支持を解除した後に、突落しプッシャー38により集積物品Wを包装箱22に詰め込むので、袋詰め物品11を横シール11a,11aが略直立する立った姿勢で整列した集積物品Wであっても、整列状態を維持して良好な箱詰めを行なうことができる。また箱詰め位置に集積物品Wを移送する物品プッシャー25を、該集積物品Wを挟持する挟持手段として兼用したので、部品点数が低減でき、装置も簡略化される。更には、集積物品Wを移送してそのまま挟持するので、物品11の整列状態が崩れることはない。

前記実施例では、物品プッシャーとにより集積物品を挟持する挟持部材は、包装箱のフラップより前側(開口側)に設けられているが、フラップの後側に位置して、該フラップを介して物品プッシャーとの間で集積物品を挟持するようにしてもよい

【発明の効果】
以上説明した如く、本発明の請求項1または2に係る集積物品の箱詰め装置によれば、箱詰め位置において可動ベッドで下面が支持されている集積物品を移送手段または物品プッシャーと挟持手段で挟持し、該ベッドによる下面支持を解除した後に、突落し手段により集積物品を包装箱に詰め込むよう構成した。従って、袋詰め物品を横シールが略直立する立った姿勢で整列した集積物品であっても、その整列状態を維持して良好な箱詰めを行なうことができる。
