【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は寝たきり老人を含め、重傷患者や骨折等の外傷で介護の必要な患者等の糞尿の始末に適した排泄物吸収体に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、我が国では高齢化社会が急速に進んでおりそれに伴なって寝たきり老人の数も増加している。これら老人の介護の一助として紙おむつの使用はますます増えつつある。
この紙おむつとしては、現在フラットタイプ、パンツタイプ、パッド、紙尿器等があり、着用者の状態や介護事情にあわせて使用される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
そしてこれら紙おむつの多くの吸収体は、シート状であり、着用者の股間から略腰部までを覆うように当がわれ、且つ糞尿の分離については考慮されていない。また股間と紙おむつとの間に隙間がありフィット性がよくなかった。そのため隙間からの横もれの心配があった。しかも排泄物は、紙おむつ内面に広くひろがり、着用者の臀部、腰部迄を汚染することになり、着用者に不快感を与え、また褥瘡を起し易い状態にあった。さらにまた介護者に拭き取り、洗浄や汚物処理等のおむつ交換作業の負担増をもたらしている。
また、紙おむつは、単独で使用される他、例えばパンツタイプとパッドというように組み合わせて使用されているが、褥瘡の予防まで含めた上述の問題を解決するには至っていない。
これに対して本発明者らは先に寝たきり老人等のための新規な排泄物吸収体を特願平５−２５８９２０号として提案しているが、さらに使用感に優れ使い勝手に優れた吸収体が求められている。
さらに従来の紙おむつでは寝たきり老人を自立させようとして着座させようとしてもフィット性が悪いため運動した場合に固定が困難であり、しかも上記の通り横もれを起し易く問題であった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そこで本発明はこれらの問題に鑑み検討の結果、着用者の不快感がなく、介護者にとっても負担の少ない排泄物吸収体を提供するものである。

即ち本発明の吸収体は、股間を前後方向に覆う長尺の非透水性シートからなる外面部材の内面側に吸収体シートを設け、該吸収体シートの内面側に長手方向の中央部から前側に、後端部が非透水性シートで覆われた吸収体ブロックを設け、長手方向の両側に弾性伸縮部材を設け、さらに中央部を切欠いたクッション部材を後方に突出するように着脱自在に取付けたことを特徴とするものである。

（実施例１）
図１は、本発明の一実施例に従う女性用の排泄物吸収体の斜視図である。
外面部材（１）は、例えばポリエチレン等の非透水性シートにより構成されいる。吸収体ブロック（２）は、図のように前部から後部にかけて高さを増す構造を持ち、その後端部での高さは、後述する理由から ３．５ｃｍ以上あることが必要となる。
この構造は、１例として木材パルプ等の親水性繊維と高吸水性ポリマー等よりなる坪量 １００〜１，０００ ｇ／ｍ２ 程度の吸収体マットを積層するか、又はこれら材料を例えばティシュや透水性シートに包み込むことにより得られる。
装着時、吸収体ブロック（２）の後端部は、尿等の排出物が多く集中する位置にあたるため、厚さと同時に高吸収性ポリマーの濃度は高く設定される。これにより排泄された尿等の多くが、吸収体ブロック（２）中に着用時間中保持される。
なお吸収体ブロック（２）を、幼児用おむつや大人用おむつ表面材として使われている不織布、例えば、ポリプロピレンやポリエステル等より成る不織布で覆えば、尿吸収後も肌をドライに保つ。

吸収体シート（３）は吸収体ブロック（２）の下方、即ち該吸収体ブロック（２）と外面部材（１）との間に位置し、吸収体ブロック（２）とほぼ同様の素材より成るが坪量は約 ２００〜３０００ｇ／ｍ２ が良好であり、吸収体ブロック（２）より薄いことが望ましい。そして該吸収体シート（３）は以下の作用をなすものである。

また吸収体ブロック（２）の下層からは、吸収体ブロック（２）の吸収能力以上の尿が排出された様な場合にも該吸収体ブロック（２）の後端部を覆う非透水性シート（４）から溢れ出た尿は吸収体シート（３）へ移行して順次吸収され、人体に対する濡れ戻りを、最小限にとどめる。

また本発明吸収体の前部に設けた吸収体ブロック（２）により、その後端と該吸収体後部に延在させた吸収体シート（３）で糞便収容部（Ａ）が形成される。この収容部（Ａ）の両側の外面部材（１）には弾性伸縮部材（５）も設けられているので、該収容部（Ａ）に受け入れられた軟便等は吸収体ブロック（２）側及び両側から外部へは移行せず、吸収体シート（３）で効果的に水分が吸収されることになる。

また前述の吸収体ブロック（２）の厚さは、該ブロック（２）を吸収体シート（３）上の所定位置に取付けて人体に圧着させた時に人体形状に準じて該吸収体ブロック（２）が柔軟に変形し、且つ吸収体シート（３）上面と人体との間に糞便収容部（Ａ）の空間を確保するために必要となる。そしてこの空間は、吸収体ブロック（２）の後端部を覆う非透水性シート（４）の防水壁と弾性伸縮部材（５）の伸縮作用により幅方向両側に位置する吸収体シート（３）や外面部材（１）の非透水性シートに囲まれ、糞便を独立して保持する機能を与えられる。

さらに吸収体シート（３）の幅方向両側もしくはその外側の外面部材（１）には、弾性伸縮部材（５）が長手方向に設けられており、該吸収体シート（３）の両側はこの弾性伸縮部材（５）を設けた壁に沿って立上げると良い。また他の弾性伸縮部材を前記弾性伸縮部材（５）の内側にさらに設けることによりフィット性、防漏性を向上させることができる。
なおこの他の弾性伸縮部材は透水性シート、非透水性シートのいずれかを用いて取付けられるもので、上記非透水性シート（４）の側面に接着しておくことで糞便収容部（Ａ）の壁面を構成させることができる。
これら弾性伸縮部材により、吸収体本体は、吸収体ブロック（２）や吸収体シート（３）を含んで、幾分収縮し且つ、弧状に湾曲しているので、人体への装着性が一層向上する。

なおこの吸収体カバー（８）の使用手順は、先ず本発明吸収体を設置するには、該吸収体カバー（８）に付された指標（９）をもとに本発明の吸収体を該吸収体カバーにそのまま当てがい、又は粘着剤等を用いて仮固定する。次に人体への装着に際しては該吸収体カバーとともに人体に当て、位置を微調整して先端に粘着テープ（１１）を設けた伸縮バンド（１３）で押えることにより容易に装着させることができる。なお図中（１４）は伸縮部材を示す。
また装着時には、前述の弾性収縮部材の効果により弧状に収縮した本体を前方向に引き伸ばして装着することにより着用者の体型に関わらず本効果を発揮することができる。

また脱着時には、糞便が分離されているため、汚物処理等の介護者の負担が軽減される。
