本発明は、物品受取位置と物品供給位置とにわたって、案内レールに沿って水平又は略水平方向に移動操作自在な移動枠に、水平方向に並ぶ複数個の物品の側周囲の全周を囲むように配置され、且つ、水平方向の接近離間移動によって物品把持状態と開き状態とに切り換え操作自在な複数の把持板が設けられた物品移載装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
かかる物品移載装置は、物品受け取り位置において水平方向に並ぶ複数の物品(例えば直方体状の段ボール箱にて形成されている物品)の側周囲を押圧把持して、水平移動又は略水平移動し、複数の物品を一度に物品供給位置へと移載しようとするものである。
従来では、水平方向に並ぶ複数の物品の側周囲を押圧把持する複数把持板は、例えば図13に示すように、物品把持状態において、隣り合う把持板間に隙間を持たせて配置されていた。

又、物品受け取り位置において把持した複数の物品を物品供給位置へと移載するにおいて、物品把持状態の把持板をそのままの状態で水平移動又は略水平移動して、把持した物品を滑らせるようにして物品供給位置へと移載するようにすることが考えられる。
しかしながら、把持した物品を滑らせて物品供給位置へと移載しようとする際に、例えば物品受け取り位置から物品供給位置への移動途中に凹凸があると、把持した物品が移動途中の凹凸に引っ掛かってしまう、又例えば段積みされた物品の最上段の物品を把持して移載しようとすると、把持した物品が二段目の物品に引っ掛かってしまうという問題があるため、従来では、一般に、物品把持状態の把持板を上方に平行移動して、複数物品を上方へ持ち上げたのち、物品供給位置側へと水平移動又は略水平移動させていた。

さらに、従来では、移動枠には、案内レールに対して単に転動し、且つ、駆動回転される車輪が設けられ、その車輪の駆動によって移動枠を移動させるようになっていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の如く、隣り合う把持板間に隙間を持たせているため、物品には把持板にて押される部分と押されない部分とができ、その結果、各把持板間で物品が変形及び損傷してしまうという問題があった。
特に、把持された複数の物品の角部においては、隣接する把持板が異なる方向から近接移動されて物品を把持することとなるため、物品の変形及び損傷が顕著となる傾向ある。

又、従来では、物品把持状態の把持板を上方に平行移動して、複数の物品を上方へ持ち上げていたため、把持した複数の物品のうち中ほどに位置する物品が滑り落ちると、例えば段積み状の物品の最上段の物品を把持して移載する場合には、その滑り落ちた物品が、図13に示すように、二段目の物品に引っ掛かってしまい、移載を続行することができない、あるいは引っ掛かった部分が変形してしまうという問題があった。

さらに、移動枠を案内レールに沿って単に転動する車輪にて移動させるものであるため、把持された物品と下方の物品とが摺接した際等において移動抵抗が大きくなった場合は、車輪のスリップにより移動枠を所望通り移動させることができなくなり、所望の移載を行えなくなる虞もあった。

本発明は上記の実情に鑑みてなされたものであって、その目的は、物品の変形及び損傷を回避し、しかも、移動枠を的確に移動させて良好に移載することのできる物品移載装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の物品移載装置は、物品受取位置と物品供給位置とにわたって、案内レールに沿って水平又は略水平方向に移動操作自在な移動枠に、水平方向に並ぶ複数個の物品の側周囲の全周を囲むように配置され、且つ、水平方向の接近離間移動によって物品把持状態と開き状態とに切り換え操作自在な複数の把持板が設けられたものであって、
その第1特徴構成は、前記複数の把持板夫々の他の把持板に隣接する端縁部が、前記物品把持状態において互いに係合する櫛歯状に形成され、前記複数の把持板が、その全体を同高さに位置させる水平姿勢と、前記物品受取位置から前記物品供給位置への移動方向下手側ほど上方に位置させる傾斜姿勢に切り換え操作自在に構成され、
前記移動枠に、それの移動ために駆動回転されるギヤが設けられ、前記案内レールに、前記ギヤと咬合するラックが設けられている点にある。
第2特徴構成は、前記物品受取位置に、各段において複数個の物品を水平方向に並べた状態の段積み状の物品を昇降自在に支持する支持手段が設けられ、前記複数の把持板が、前記段積み状物品のうちの最上段の複数個の物品を把持するように構成され、前記移動枠の移動方向に沿う接近離間によって、前記段積み状物品の上方から二段目の物品を挟持する挟持状態と挟持解除状態とに切り換え操作自在な一対の挟持具が設けられている点にある。

【作用】
本発明の第1特徴構成によれば、複数の把持板夫々の櫛歯状の端縁部を、例えば図8に示すように係合させることにより、例えば図11に示すように、各把持板にて、把持する複数の物品の側周囲全体を隙間なく一様に把持することができることとなる。
しかも、物品受取位置にて把持した物品を水平移動又は略水平移動させる際に、物品受取位置から物品供給位置への移動方向下手側ほど上方に位置させる傾斜姿勢に切り換えているので、例えば段積み状の物品の最上段の物品を把持して上方に持ち上げて移載する場合において、中ほどに位置する物品がたとえ滑り落ちても、その滑り落ちた物品は移動方向上手側よりも下手側の方が上方になるような状態に位置することとなるので、図9に示すように、二段目の物品に引っ掛かることなく物品を移載することができることとなる。
尚、例えば物品受け取り位置から物品供給位置への移動途中に凹凸がある場合においても、同様に、滑り落ちた中ほどの物品は移動方向上手側よりも下手側の方が上方になるような状態に位置することとなるので、移動途中の凹凸に引っ掛かることなく物品を移載することができることとなる。
さらに、移動枠に設けられ且つ案内レール上に設けられたラックに咬合するギアを、回転させることにより、移動枠を物品受取位置と物品供給位置とに移動させることができるので、例えば図13に示すように、把持した物品の下段に位置する物品に多少引っ掛かっても、移動枠を物品供給位置側へと移動させることができるのである。
第2特徴構成によれば、支持手段にて段積み状の物品を昇降させることにより、複数の把持板にて、段積み状の物品のうち最上段の複数の物品を、常に同じ位置にて把持することができるので、効率良く物品の移載を行うことができると共に、一対の挟持具を移動枠の移動方向に沿う方向に移動させて、段積み状物品の上方から二段目の物品を挟持(例えば、図9参照)することにより、二段目の物品の隙間(移動枠移動方向の隙間)を無くすることができるのである。

【発明の効果】
本発明の第1特徴構成によれば、各把持板にて、把持する複数の物品の側周囲全体を隙間なく一様に把持することができると共に、二段目の物品あるいは移動途中の凹凸等に引っ掛かることなく物品を移載することができるので、物品を変形及び損傷を回避することができ、しかも、移動枠の移動抵抗にかかわらず的確に移動させることができるのであり、もって、従来技術の不都合を解消して、物品の移載作業を良好に行える物品移載装置を提供することができるに至った。
第2特徴構成によれば、段積み状の物品のうち最上段の複数の物品を、常に同じ位置にて把持して、効率良く物品の搬送を行うことができると共に、二段目の物品の隙間(移動枠移動方向の隙間)を無くすことにより、二段目の物品の隙間に滑り落ちた物品が引っ掛かるという問題点を回避することができるのであり、一層良好に物品の移載作業を行うことができるに至った。

以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。

図1及び図2に示すように、物品処理設備Aは、物品Dを段積み状に保持した実装パレットQを載置して搬送する搬送台車1と、その搬送台車1からの実装パレットQを受け取る搬入コンベア2と、その搬入コンベア2からの実装パレットQを受け取る中継リフタ3と、その中継リフタ3から受取位置Bへ供給される実装パレットQを昇降自在に支持する支持手段としてのリフトテーブル4と、そのリフトテーブル4上の段積み状の物品Dのうち最上段の複数の物品Dを物品供給位置Cとしての送り出しコンベア6上へ移載する物品移載装置としてのデパレトラバーサ7と、送り出しコンベア6の終端部に連なる状態で設置される切り出しコンベア8と、その切り出しコンベア8から搬出される物品Dを順次搬出する搬出コンベア9とを備えている。

前記搬送台車1には移載用コンベア1Aが装備され、前記中継リフタ3には中継コンベア3Aが装備され、リフトテーブル4には移載コンベア4Aが装備されている。又、中継リフタ3及びリフトテーブル4には、供給される実装パレットQを受け止めるストッパー130及び140が設けられている。これらストッパー130及び140は、実装パレットQを搬出する際には下降側に退避されるものであって、エアシリンダ等の駆動装置により駆動昇降操作されるようになっている。
尚、図中、121は搬入コンベア2の駆動用電動モータである。131は中継リフタ3の昇降用油圧シリンダ、132は中継コンベア3Aの駆動用電動モータである。141はリフトテーブル4の昇降用油圧シリンダ、142は移載コンベア4Aの駆動用電動モータである。

つまり、把持板32aを上方退避姿勢から下降揺動させた把持用姿勢に切り換えた後、枠体304の移動により、さらに把持板32aを対向する把持板32b側に接近移動させて、両把持板32a、32bの間に物品Dを挟持できるようになっている。

尚、中継リフタ3からリフトテーブル4に向けて実装パレットQを搬送する際には、ストッパー130を下降退避させると共に、中継コンベア3Aや移載コンベア4Aを駆動することになる。又、搬送台車1から搬入コンベア2に実装パレットQを供給する際には、搬送台車1の移載コンベア1Aや搬入コンベア2が駆動されることになり、搬入コンベア2から中継リフタ3に実装パレットQを供給する際には、搬入コンベア2や中継コンベア3Aが駆動されることになる。
(ロ)リフトテーブル4は、油圧シリンダ141の駆動により、最上段の物品Dが所定の高さになるように上昇され、停止される。
