械内部のオイルとかグリースの漏れを防ぐためにゴム等
の被膜あるいはOリングなどが共に装着きれ強い密封力
を働かせていた。また、等速ジョイントなどの開口部を
塞ぐゴム等の被膜あるいはOリング等が装着きれた金属
製蓋材にあっては、図面によって詳述すると図4に示す
ように、内圧による蓋の脱落あるいはブーツの膨れなどの
悪影響を防ぐために、ブリーザーとして該金属製茎材
(B)の一部に小切り込み(7、スリット)をカットナイフ

ップ(A)であって、前記ブリーザー付キャップ(A)は合
成ゴム、合成樹脂等の弾性被膜(2)を有する金属板(3)
からなっており、図2に示すように前記金属板(3)にお
ける弾性被膜(2)の平面部の一部分を圧捕ダイ(4)にて
圧縮してその圧縮部分を横流れさせ、該圧縮ダイ(4)の
端面に位置する一部分をカットナイフ(5)で切り通し貫
通させながら金属板(3)共々押込み変形せしめ、図3に
示すように該カット部を食違い凹形状(6)に造形せしめ
たことを特徴としている。 【0005】 【発明の実施の形態】本発明のブリーザー付キャップ
(A)の成形においては、弾性被膜(2)の形成された金属
板(3)を用意し、これを図1の如くのキャップ形状に
造形するとき、図2に示すように圧縮ダイ(4)によって
その一部分を圧縮して該圧縮ダイ(4)下方にある弾性被
膜(2)に横流れを発生させ圧縮しない部分へ質量移動さ
せる。その後、前記圧縮ダイ(4)の端面に位置する一部
分をカットナイフ(5)で部分的に切断しながらそのまま
金属板(3)も含めて押込み変形せしめると図3に示すよ
うな突出する弾性被膜(2a)を有する食違いの凹形状
(6)が形成される。このとき前記突出した凹形状(6)
の弾性被膜(2a)はカット部の端面へ復元しようとする
弾性力によって押し付けられており、図3のように内部
と外部がカット部で貫通していても前記弾性被膜(2a)
充分な密封性を発揮するものとなる。そして圧力差の
発生に対しては該カット部の弾性被膜(2a)が前記カ
ット部の端面へ密着するその密着作用で圧力差の生じた
圧力を他方側へ逃がし常時適当な圧力状態を保つ【0006】 【実施例】本発明でのカット部の形成において、横流れ
を発生させる圧縮ダイ(4)とカットナイフ(5)との関係
は、カット部の弾性被膜(2)を部分的に突出形成するた
めに互いに近接した配置が望ましく、また、カット部成
形時にはカットナイフ(5)より先に該弾性被膜(2)へ圧
縮ダイ(4)を接触せしめることにより突出した弾性被膜
(2a)が形成きれる。【0007】 【発明の効果】上記のような結成によって、以下に示す
優れた効果が得られる。本発明のブリーザー付キャップ
においては、食違いを持つ凹形状(6)と該食違い端面
へ密着する弾性被膜(2a)によって良好な圧力調整作用
と密封作用が得られ、従来の如くのスリット状の小切り
込み(7)のブリーザーではいくらかの隙間が見られて不
安定な密封状態にあったものが本発明によって全て解
消された。従って外部からの水、ダスト異物等の侵入か
ら解放される。このように本発明は、安価な材料をもって
極めて少ない工程で簡単に良好な圧力調整機能を有する
キャップが形成され、密封作用にも優れるブリーザー付
キャップとなったものである。
