自動車を走行させ洗車スペース内へ進入した自動車の車
体を自動洗浄する洗車機に関し、特に洗車スペースの近
くに設置されて洗車料金や洗車内容の選択入力等を受け
付ける洗車受付装置を前記洗車機と別体に設けた洗車装
置に関する。 【0002】 【従来の技術】従来よりこの種の洗車装置として、例え
ば特開昭48−5267号公報に記載のものが知られて
いる。すなわち、洗車スペースの手前に洗車機と別体の
洗車受付装置を備え、この受付装置へ洗車料金を投入し
てから洗車スペースへ自動車を乗り入れれば洗車が受け
られるように構成されたものである。 【0003】上記のような従来の洗車装置では、客が立
て込んだ場合には、前の自動車が洗車動作を完了し洗車
スペースから退場するのを待って、次の客が料金を投入

容の洗車メニューが用意されており、客はそうした多様
な洗車メニューの中から好みのメニューを選択する必要

次の自動車が洗車スペースへ入場するまでに手間がかか
り、円滑な洗車サービスができないといった不便があっ

選択操作するために時間的な余裕が必要であるが、客が
立て込んだ場合には、操作に十分時間をかけられずに誤

をレール上に走行させ洗車スペース内へ進入した自動車
の車体を自動洗浄する洗車機と、該洗車機と別体とされ
洗車スペースの近くに設置されて洗車料金や洗車内容の
選択入力等を受け付ける洗車受付装置とを備え、洗車受
付装置で洗車の受付をした後に受け付けた内容に従って
洗車機を動作させるようにした洗車装置において、洗車
機と洗車受付装置とは信号線を介して接続し、洗車機
は、洗車を実行していない待機状態においては、レール
で与えられる走行範囲の後端部を待機位置として停止し
この位置から洗車を開始するものであり、洗車受付装置
からの洗車要求信号があると自動車の進入を待って洗車
