Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a circuit board connector mounting apparatus for mounting a connector on a circuit board. As shown in FIG. 6, a conventional connector 1 for a circuit board is mounted by screwing a tapping screw 3 with a screwdriver 4 from the back side of the circuit board 2 and tightening. I have. [0003] However, in the above-described conventional device, after the connector 1 is placed at a fixed position on the surface of the circuit board 2, the circuit board 2 is turned over together with the connector 1, and the connector 1 is turned from the back. It is necessary to carry out the screw insertion and tightening of the tapping screw 3, and the operation is troublesome. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to easily attach a connector to a circuit board and easily cope with a difference in the thickness of the circuit board. An object of the present invention is to provide a device for mounting a circuit board connector. In order to achieve the above object, in the apparatus for mounting a connector for a circuit board according to the present invention, a mounting hole is provided in the circuit board, and the mounting hole is formed in the connector. A pair of mounting seats is provided at the edge of the mounting hole, the height of which gradually increases in the circumferential direction in pairs, and a flexible leg inserted from the mounting hole of the connector into the mounting hole of the circuit board. A claw portion at the distal end portion of the leg portion, which engages with the edge of the mounting hole on the back surface of the circuit board; and a claw portion at the base end portion of the leg portion, which engages with the mounting seat of the connector, and Characterized in that it has a fixture having a head rotatable along. According to the above-mentioned means, after the connector is placed at a fixed position on the surface of the circuit board, the legs are extended from above the claw of the fixture to the mounting hole of the circuit board from the mounting hole of the connector. And the claw portion may be engaged with the edge of the mounting hole on the back surface of the circuit board. Also, when the thickness of the circuit board is small,
What is necessary is just to rotate the head of the mounting tool along the mounting seat until it is stopped. A first embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. First, the circuit board 1 shown in FIG.
Reference numeral 1 denotes, for example, a printed wiring board. Although not shown in detail, as is well known, it has a wiring pattern on a surface (upper surface in the figure) and mounts necessary electronic components. Further, two mounting holes 13 (only one is shown) are provided at positions where the connector 12 of the circuit board 11 is to be mounted.
Is formed. On the other hand, the connector 12 is a female connector. A female terminal (not shown) to which a male connector terminal (not shown) is inserted and connected inside a plastic housing 14. )have. Mounting portions 15 are formed on both right and left sides of the housing 14 of the connector 12 so as to protrude, and circular mounting holes 16 are formed in the mounting portions 15 respectively.
At the edge of each of the holes 16 to be mounted, specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, two pairs each form a pair, and the height of the mounting seat 17 increases gradually and continuously in the circumferential direction (in this case, clockwise). Is formed. Further, the attachment 18 is made of a metal plate which is a heat-resistant material, and two flexible legs 19 and the legs 1.
9 are integrally formed with a tapered claw portion 20 extending outward at the distal end portion and a semicircular head portion 21 extending commonly outward at the proximal end portion of the leg portion 19. And the same number as the holes 16 to be attached to the connector 12 (in this case,
2) exist. [0010] Now, in the case of the structure as described above,
When attaching the connector 12 to the circuit board 11,
First, the connector 12 is placed at a fixed position on the surface of the circuit board 11, and the claw 20 of the fixture 18 is moved from above to the leg 19 from the mounting hole 16 of the connector 12 to the mounting hole 13 of the circuit board 11 from above. Insert it. Then, the claw portion 20 is moved to the leg portion 19.
Through the mounting holes 16 and the mounting holes 13 in order while being bent, and released when reaching the back surface of the circuit board 11,
The leg 19 is engaged with the edge of the mounting hole 13 by the restoring force. FIG.
Shows the state at this time, and the head 21 is also attached to the mounting seat 17.
The connector 12 (the mounting portion 15) is sandwiched between the claw portion 20 and the circuit board 11 and fixed. FIG. 3 shows that the circuit board 11 has a large thickness.
The sum of the thickness of the circuit board 11 and the thickness of the mounting portion 15 of the connector 12 is equal to or slightly larger than the length of the leg 19 from the head 21 to the claw 20 of the mounting 18. This shows the situation when the circuit board 11
When the plate thickness is small, the claw 20 is engaged with the edge of the mounting hole 1 on the back surface of the circuit board 11 as described above, and then the head 21 of the mounting tool 18 is turned clockwise along the mounting seat 17. Rotate to. Then, the head 21 climbs the mounting seat 17 along the slope, and the length of the leg 19 from the head 21 to the claw portion 20 is reduced to the thickness of the connector 1 as shown in FIG.
At the position having the same size as the thickness of the mounting portion 15 plus the height of the mounting seat 17, the mounting portion 17 is pressed against the mounting seat 17 to be restrained. It is clamped and fixed to the substrate 11. On the back surface of the circuit board 11, the solder connection of the lead of the mounted component to the land of the wiring pattern is performed by immersing it in a molten solder bath, and at the same time, the claw portion 20 of the mounting member 18 is also formed. By immersing in the molten solder bath, the return of the fixture 18 can be more reliably prevented, and the fixing of the connector 12 can be more reliably performed. or,
For this reason, it is preferable that the fixture 18 be made of a heat-resistant material that can withstand the heat of the molten solder, but a material other than metal, such as a heat-resistant resin, may be used. As described above, according to the present configuration, the connector 1
2 is placed at a fixed position on the surface of the circuit board 11, and the leg 19 is connected to the connector 12 from the claw 20 of the fixture 18 from above.
Through the mounting hole 13 of the circuit board 11 to engage the claw 20 with the edge of the mounting hole 13 on the back surface of the circuit board 11, and, if necessary, the head of the mounting tool 18. 21
The connector 12 can be easily attached to the circuit board 11 simply by rotating the connector 12 along the mounting seat 17 until it is stopped. There is no need for a troublesome operation such as screwing and tightening the screw. In addition, it is possible to easily cope with a difference in the thickness of the circuit board 11, and as a whole, it is possible to greatly improve the mountability of the connector 12. FIG. 5 shows a second embodiment of the present invention. In place of the above-described mounting seat 17, the height of the edge of the mounting hole 16 is gradually increased stepwise in the circumferential direction. The mounting seat 22 is formed on the mounting portion 15 of the connector 12 so that the difference in the thickness of the circuit board 11 can be easily handled as described above. In addition, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the drawings, and can be implemented with appropriate modifications without departing from the scope of the invention. As is apparent from the above description, the mounting apparatus for a connector for a circuit board according to the present invention has a mounting hole in the circuit board, and the connector has a mounting hole and an edge of the mounting hole. And a mounting seat that gradually increases its height in the circumferential direction in pairs.
A claw that has a flexible leg that is inserted through the mounting hole of the connector into the mounting hole of the circuit board, and that engages with an edge of the mounting hole on the back surface of the circuit board at the tip of the leg; And a fitting at the base end of the leg, the fitting having a head that engages with and is rotatable along the mounting seat of the connector, whereby:
An excellent effect is obtained that the connector can be easily attached to the circuit board, and the difference in the thickness of the circuit board can be easily accommodated.
