2. Description of the Related Art For patients suffering from pain in joints such as knees, hips, neck, etc., all the treatment methods for pain up to now have been only coping therapy for pain. In other words, he did not try to radically cure the place where the pain was caused by cheating the pain with medicine or injection. For example, in osteoarthritis of the knee, at the time of complaining of initial pain, if mild mobilization was performed, it was possible to quickly return to a state close to that if it was not the original normal. , At present, there was no means to stop knee deformation. As a result, the deformation continued to deteriorate, and finally the O-leg or X-leg deformed, and there was no choice but to rely on surgery. By the way, joint mobilization is a technique of physical therapy (exercise therapy). This is because, for example, in the case of a patient who complains of knee pain, the patient is supine on the bed, and the operator holds the lower leg of the patient and pulls in the long axis direction to create a play (gap) in the joint surface. This is a physical therapy that improves the medical condition of the knee joint by fixing the axis of the bone and rotating (rolling) the bone in that state in the direction perpendicular to the long axis of the lower leg (tibia). A remarkable therapeutic effect has been recognized for knee joint pain and chronic knee arthritis caused by excessive sports, as well as osteoarthritis of the knee, which is common in the elderly.
This is a stepping stone to existing treatment methods.

However, even though this technique is an excellent manual correction method, it is a heavy labor of pulling the patient's foot with a force of 5 to 30 kgf and applying rotation, so that for the surgeon. The physical burden was very heavy. Therefore, the number of patients who can be operated by one operator per day is limited to about 10 at most, and many patients cannot be operated. In addition, the burden on the surgeon's body is large, and the surgeon himself has been forced to exert strong physical overwork.

In this joint physiotherapy device, the patient has a top 2
Supine on the upper side, and the thigh b is supported by the receiving tool 16 in an upwardly inclined shape. In this state, the femur near the heart is fixed. Then, by removing the clamp metal fittings 76 and 77 and opening the upper frame 75, the posterior side surface of the tibial head part d is supported on the elastic receiving pad 89 of the tightening member 88 to close the upper frame 75 and the clamp metal fitting 76. , 77.
Further, by rotating the handle 84, the tightening member 88 is moved upward. The tibial head portion d is attached to the fastening member 8
By lifting it with 8, the front side surface of the tibial head part d (so-called Benkei's tears) is brought into contact with the pair of elastic pressing pads 78 of the upper frame 75 so as to be sandwiched from both sides, whereby the tibial head part d is forced. Make sure you hold it securely. The clamping force can be adjusted appropriately by the handle 84. Here, since the worm 83 and the worm gear 81 are interposed, there is no fear that the handle 84 will be returned by the reaction force when the worm 83 and the worm gear 81 are sandwiched.

Then, as described above, the ankle of the patient is held by the receiving ring 35 and the sandwiching ring 39, and the pneumatic cylinder 34 is operated to pull the lower leg c with a pulling force of 1 to 30 kgf. In addition, the motor 51 is rotated in this state, and the rotation is transmitted through the crank mechanism 54 to the eccentric output shaft 5.
By eccentrically rotating the shaft 6, the rod 55 connected to the eccentric output shaft 56 via the bearing 57 is rolled. In this way, the grasping tool 70 provided on the upper portion of the rod 55 is rotated to rotate (roll) the tibial head d in the direction perpendicular to the long axis of the lower leg c. The turning radius corresponds to the adjustment of the eccentric amount of the eccentric output shaft 56,
It can be freely adjusted within the range of 10 mm to 30 mm.

Thus, the knee of the patient is rotated (rolled) in a state where play (gap) is formed on the joint surface by pulling.
Since exercise is added, joint mobilization can be performed without labor. The traction force, the number of revolutions, the radius of gyration, etc. can be appropriately set according to the patient's symptoms. Further, since the rod 55 is inserted through the slit-shaped hole 7 of the washer plate 6 to the left and right with sufficient play, the degree of freedom of movement is increased, and there is no fear that an excessive force is exerted on the knee joint.
