2. Description of the Related Art When such a hot water supply apparatus is used, combustion products (CuCO 3 , CuSO 4, etc.) adhere to a heat exchanger, and the amount of the adhesion gradually increases. Since the combustion products adhere to the heat exchanger unevenly, the heat distribution of the heat exchanger becomes uneven, and the heat fatigue of the heat exchanger is promoted, which may damage the heat exchanger. It is necessary to remove combustion products adhering to the heat exchanger before it is damaged. Therefore, conventionally, a means for counting the use time or the number of times of use of the hot water supply device is provided, and when the use time or the number of uses reaches a preset value, the amount of combustion products attached must remove the combustion products. Judgment was made that the required amount of unnecessarily maintained maintenance was reached, and a maintenance alarm for removing combustion products was issued.

However, the operating environment of the hot water supply device varies, and the difference in the operating environment causes a difference in the amount of combustion products deposited. Therefore, in order to avoid a situation in which the heat exchanger is damaged before issuing the maintenance alarm, the use time or the number of uses for issuing the maintenance alarm is set on the assumption that the use environment is relatively bad. Therefore, if the use environment in which the use time or the number of use times for issuing the maintenance alarm is set does not match the actual use environment, the actual amount of combustion products deposited may not be the amount required for maintenance. Regardless, since the maintenance alarm is issued, there is a problem that the maintenance alarm may be issued too early in some cases.

Thus, according to the present invention, the combustion product adhesion amount detecting means detects that the amount of combustion product adhesion to the heat exchanger is equal to or greater than the amount required for maintenance. On the basis of this, the maintenance means for removing the combustion products is issued by the alarm means, so that the actual amount of the combustion products does not become the amount requiring the maintenance unlike the conventional apparatus. Regardless, it is possible to reliably avoid problems such as issuing a maintenance alarm, and perform maintenance at a time suitable for removing combustion products according to the amount of combustion products deposited, regardless of the usage environment of the water heater. An alarm can now be issued.

Next, control by the control device C2 will be described. When the hot water tap 3 is opened and the water supply amount Q detected by the water amount sensor S2 becomes greater than or equal to a predetermined value, the on-off valves 4 and 5 are opened and the ignition plug 10 is operated to ignite the burner 2. Then, the hot water supply operation is started.
Further, the hot water supply temperature To from the heat exchanger 1 is changed to the target hot water supply temperature Ts.
To adjust the opening degree of the regulating valve 6 based on the target hot water supply temperature Ts, the water supply temperature Ti detected by the water supply temperature sensor S1, and the water supply amount Q detected by the water amount sensor S2,
Based on the deviation between the target hot water supply temperature Ts and the hot water supply temperature To detected by the hot water supply temperature sensor S3, the opening of the regulating valve 6 is finely adjusted.

Further, in addition to the above-described control, the control device C2 detects, as described below, that the amount of adhesion of the combustion products to the heat exchanger 1 has exceeded a set value. It is configured in. In other words, the control device C2 monitors the hot water supply temperature To detected by the hot water temperature sensor S3 even after the hot water supply operation is stopped due to the closing of the hot water tap 3, and based on the detected hot water supply temperature To become equal to or higher than the set temperature, the adhesion is determined. It is configured to detect that the amount has exceeded a set value. That is,
Using the control device C2, means for detecting combustion product adhesion amount 1
03 is configured. Note that the relationship between the amount of combustion products deposited and the detected hot water supply temperature To after the stop of the hot water supply operation is examined in advance by an endurance test, and maintenance corresponding to a state in which the amount of combustion products deposited becomes the amount that requires maintenance is examined. The boiling temperature is set after the period, and the set temperature is set to the boiling temperature after the maintenance period. Further, the control device C
2 turns on the maintenance lamp 9 when the hot-water supply temperature To detected by the hot-water supply temperature sensor S3 after the hot-water supply operation is stopped due to the closing of the hot-water supply tap 3 becomes higher than the set temperature.
