[0003] Therefore, when the stainless steel plate is shifted from one process to the next process in order to perform various treatments in the above-described manufacturing process, the kraft pulp has been conventionally used as a raw material at the stage of coiling the stainless steel plate. Neutral kraft paper produced by a paper machine is wound together with a stainless steel plate to serve as a protective sheet as a slip sheet and inserted together with the stainless steel sheet, and then temporarily stored or immediately moved to the next step. In this process, a method is adopted in which only the slip sheet is extracted before a target process is started.

At temperatures of up to 180 ° C., water is released from the cellulose in the pulp, and the bond is broken, resulting in raggedness and no use in terms of strength. Therefore, it is necessary to impart some heat resistance to the paper.

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-131011 discloses a dipping method in which one or more dicyandiamide or a derivative thereof, preferably an antistatic agent is further added during the papermaking process of neutral paper using kraft pulp as a raw material. A method is disclosed in which a stainless steel plate is rolled or tempered with a slip sheet manufactured by being incorporated by a size press method, a spray method, or a coating method, and then covering the heated surface of the plate. When dicyandiamide or its derivative is contained in neutral paper by the size press method,
For example, dicyandiamide is used by dissolving it in a normal size press working solution containing PVA, oxidized starch, paraffin wax and the like. According to this method, by inserting the above-mentioned chemical substance into interleaving paper and covering the surface of the stainless steel plate with the interleaving paper, the interleaving paper can be provided with heat resistance and a property of suppressing generation of static electricity. There is no cutting of the interleaving paper due to thermal deterioration, and the use of such interleaving paper prevents the stainless steel plates from coming into contact with each other. It is possible to increase the number of times the slip sheet is repeatedly used.

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 59-89000 discloses that one of polyacrylamide-based, urea-based and melamine-based synthetic resins among those widely used as a paper-strengthening agent is used with respect to pulp. 0.5-5.0% by weight
Or the amount of synthetic resin in addition to the above
By adding 100% by weight of dicyandiamide, heat resistance can be imparted to the slip sheet, so that seizure does not occur even under high temperature and high pressure, and consequently, the surface of the stainless steel plate becomes cloudy or rough. It is possible to prevent that. The method of adding the resin to a beater, the method of spraying or impregnating the paper after papermaking, the method of adding it with a size press, or the method of applying it with a coater is applied.

However, the surface strength of paper containing the above compounds is low, and when such compounds are added in a large amount to paper, the resin which has deteriorated due to heat is peeled off from the paper surface and seized and pushed into the stainless steel surface. ) Scratches have created new problems. Other scratches that occur on the surface of the stainless steel plate include those caused by foreign matters such as binding fibers and resin contained in the paper. There is a need for a paper that has a low content of corrosive substances such as chloride ions and sulfate ions, as well as a paper having a small amount of water.

[0008] As a method of increasing the surface strength of paper, a paper-strength enhancer such as various types of starch is used in a two-roll size press,
Although a method of applying a large amount (0.7 to 2.0 g / m 2 ) to paper using a coating apparatus such as a gate roll coater is well known, the neutral interleaf paper obtained by this method has excellent surface strength. In use, as described above, there is a problem that seizure occurs on the surface of the stainless steel plate and it cannot be put to practical use. Therefore, in neutral slip paper for stainless steel plates,
Of course, those having low content of foreign substances and ions, high surface strength, and exhibiting heat resistance on the surface, and hardly causing seizure and indentation scratches are strongly demanded. At present, no neutral neutral paper has been obtained.

In view of such circumstances, the present inventors have conducted intensive studies on the surface strength and heat resistance of neutral slip paper for stainless steel sheets made from unbleached kraft pulp, and as a result, polyvinyl alcohol Focus on the fact that thermal stability is superior to starch and that penetrating the paper layer is much more effective for both surface strength and heat resistance than retaining more of the polyvinyl alcohol on the paper surface. When the polyvinyl alcohol is applied to the surface of the paper in a specific range and contained using a two-roll size press, the resulting neutral interleaving paper has excellent surface strength and is simultaneously fired at a high temperature. It has been found that there are few sticking and indentation scratches, and the present invention has been completed. An object of the present invention is to provide a neutral interleaf paper for a stainless steel plate having excellent surface strength and heat resistance and less occurrence of seizure and indentation scratches.

The PVA used in the present invention is partially saponified and completely saponified, and is preferably applied by a known method using a two-roll size press. Conventionally, starch has been widely applied by a two-roll size press, but when starch is used, the surface strength can be improved unless the content is increased as much as 0.50 g / m 2 or more. In that case, the starch is thermally decomposed and seizure occurs on the surface of the stainless steel plate, which is not suitable. On the other hand, even in the case of PVA having high thermal stability, the coating method of forming a coating film on the surface layer of the paper surface such as a gate roll coater has a coating amount of 0.6 g as well as a large coating amount.
Even when the amount is as small as less than / m 2, PVA is not suitable because it seizes and stains the surface of the stainless steel plate. Furthermore, when the paper surface is not covered with the coating film because the coating amount is too small,
No matter how the coating method is applied, the surface strength of the paper cannot be increased, and the fibers fall off from the paper surface to cause indentation scratches on the surface of the stainless steel plate, which is not suitable as slip paper.

On the other hand, the neutral interleaf paper of the present invention is applied with PVA by a two-roll size press, and the PVA per paper is applied.
Of 0.13 to 0.57 g / m 2 . However, even in the case of application by a two-roll size press,
When the content of PVA is less than 0.13 g / m 2 , the paper surface cannot be covered with the coating film as described above, the surface strength is deteriorated, the fibers fall off, and indentation scratches are generated on the surface of the stainless steel plate. On the other hand, if the content exceeds 0.57 g / m 2 , seizure of PVA occurs, so that it is not suitable as neutral slip paper for stainless steel plates.

The reason why the neutral slip sheet of the present invention does not cause indentation scratches and seizure and can protect the surface of the stainless steel plate is not limited to the presumed range. Compared to the case of the coater, the fact that PVA easily penetrates into the paper layer better, and that PVA is a linear compound unlike a cyclic compound such as starch, and more easily permeates into the paper layer than starch. Also, unlike the case where starch is used, the paper surface strength can be improved with a small content. Furthermore, because PVA has better thermal stability than starch, when PVA is applied to paper by a two-roll size press due to these synergistic effects, the surface strength and heat resistance of the paper are extremely low in the content. This is considered to be because it is possible to simultaneously achieve prevention of indentation scratches and seizure on the surface of the stainless steel plate.

The neutral slip sheets obtained in Examples and Comparative Examples were evaluated based on the results obtained in the following tests, and are shown in Table 1. Test method (1) Five neutral slip papers cut into a size of 150 mm x 150 mm were prepared, and each neutral slip paper was immersed in rolling oil (mineral oil) and excess oil was wiped off with filter paper. After that, two stainless plates (SUS304 2B, size 200 mm x 200
mm, thickness 0.5 mm, the surface of which was polished with a cleanser), and kept at a temperature of 180 ° C. and a pressure of 133 kg / cm 2 (gauge pressure per unit area of paper) for 3 hours in a 50-ton hydraulic press for experiments. Thereafter, the stainless steel plate was taken out of the press machine, left to cool, and observed for changes in the surface of the stainless steel plate.
When the surface of the stainless steel plate is burned, the portion is copied with a Xerox copier, and the copied paper is used as a printing area ratio with a planimeter (trade name: planix7, manufactured by Tamaya Measurement Systems Co., Ltd.). The ratio (%, relative to the total area of the neutral slip paper) was determined, and the average value (rounded) of the results obtained from the five samples was determined. If the seizure area ratio obtained in the test is less than 10%, there is no seizure on the surface of the stainless steel plate even if it is practically used, so it is evaluated as good. If the area ratio is 10% or more, seizure occurs. Not possible x was evaluated.

The higher the number, the higher the index of the surface strength. 2) Printing test Solna 125 printing machine (manufactured by Gadelius) and neutral adhesion paper cut to 515 mm x 365 mm using the ink of Ink Tack 15 are printed at 5,000 sheets / hour at 1,000 sheets / hour, and then the fibers adhering to the blanket are printed. With a transparent adhesive cellophane tape, stick this tape on a vinyl sheet,
The number is measured with a stereoscopic microscope (6.7 to 40 times, manufactured by Olympus Corporation). If the number is 16 or less, there is no occurrence of indentation scratches on the stainless steel surface due to fallouts.
A sample exceeding 6 was evaluated as unacceptable because of the possibility of indentation scratches.

As is clear from Table 1, the neutral slip paper for a stainless steel plate of the present invention hardly causes seizure on the surface of the stainless steel plate, and has a high surface strength, so that no indentation damage is caused by falling off of the fiber (Example 1). ~ 3). On the other hand, when the content of PVA is small or contains no PVA,
Although seizure hardly occurs, it is not suitable for practical use because surface strength is poor and occurrence of indentation damage due to falling off of fibers is predicted (Comparative Examples 1 and 2). When the content of PVA is large, the surface strength is increased and there is no indentation scratch, but there is a possibility that seizure may occur (Comparative Example 3). On the other hand, when starch is applied, seizure does not occur if the content is low, but there is a possibility that indentation may occur due to insufficient surface strength (Comparative Example 4), and the starch content is 0.50 g / When it exceeds m 2 , the surface strength is increased, but the seizure of the starch occurs on the stainless steel plate surface, which is not suitable (Comparative Examples 5 to 7).

As described above, the neutral slip paper for a stainless steel plate according to the present invention has a PVA of 0.13 to 0.57.
A specific amount of g / m 2 is contained in the paper by a two-roll size press. Therefore, according to the present invention, when used, the surface strength of the paper is high, and the fibers do not fall off from the paper surface, so that the surface of the stainless steel plate is not indented (rubbed) and the scratch is not generated.
In addition, since the used PVA has penetrated into the paper layer, there is an effect of providing a neutral interleaf paper for a stainless steel plate which does not cause seizure on the surface of the stainless steel plate.
