2. Description of the Related Art A tracked truck system such as a linear transport vehicle system is used for transporting articles in clean rooms, hospitals, factories, warehouses, and the like. In such a system, it is generally difficult to provide a branch. For example, a truck is branched using a turntable, or a truck is transported by a traverser and branched. However, in such a branch, it is necessary to once stop the carriage completely, and a shock may be applied to a conveyed article when getting on or off the turntable or the traverser, which is not suitable for conveying a fragile article such as a semiconductor substrate. .

[0003] FIG. 8 shows a branch taking a railway point as an example. A branch made up of the main path 2 and the branch path 3 is provided on the track 1 and guide rollers of the linear carrier are guided by the track side walls 4 and 5, and the branch rails 6 and 7 are operated as indicated by arrows in the figure to branch. Shall be. Then, a gap always occurs between both ends of the branch rails 6 and 7 and the side walls 4 and 5, and an impact is applied to the linear carrier at this portion. It is not suitable for transporting fragile items.

According to the present invention, the leading and trailing ends of the branch rail are superimposed on the left and right side walls of the track in a vertical view. For this reason, the branch rail and the side wall of the track intersect near the front end and the rear end, and the guide surface to the guide roller is not interrupted between them. Therefore, it is possible to diverge without impact while keeping the tracked truck running.

According to the present invention, the contact surface of the side wall with the guide roller is partially cut out in the height direction, and the leading end and the rear end of the branch rail are arranged so as to overlap with the cutout in a vertical view. For this reason, even when there is no branch rail, a portion other than the notch of the track side wall remains as a contact surface with the guide roller, and in a state where the branch rail is present, the tip of the branch rail is hidden in the side wall, so that the guide is guided by the side wall. Can be smoothly transitioned from the state of being guided by the branch rail to the state of being guided by the branch rail.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, a guide member is provided upstream of the branch, for example, immediately upstream of the branch to guide the inner surface of the guide roller. At the position of the guide member, the guide roller is guided on the outer surface by the raceway side wall and on the inner surface by the guide member. When the guide roller enters the branch, it can be smoothly branched without wobble.

FIGS. 3 to 6 show the operation at the branch.
It is assumed that the road branches to the branch road 14 as shown by the solid line in FIG. Then, the switching of the guide from the side wall 15 to the branch rail 24 occurs at the point A in FIGS.
Of the branch rail 24, the guide surface 64 on the branch road side intersects with the guide surface of the side wall 15 at the point A, and between the two guide surfaces between the guide surfaces 64. There is no gap, and the guide roller 47 is always guided by one of the guide surfaces, and the linear transport vehicle does not experience a step between the branches. If the angle between the two guide surfaces is reduced in the vicinity of the point A, the two guide surfaces are almost smoothly continuous, and the guide can be switched to the branch rail 24 very smoothly. Reference numeral 66 denotes a positioning member for receiving and positioning the distal end 26 of the branch rail 24, and may not be provided.

FIGS. 5 and 6 show the role of the branch rail 24 when the linear carrier travels to the main road 12 side. Near the tip 26 of the branch rail 24, the guide surface 68 on the main road side is
Since the front end 26 is housed in the cutout portion 40, it intersects the guide surface of the side wall 16 at the point B, and if the angle of the two guide surfaces at the intersection B is reduced as in FIGS. The vehicle can run smoothly without any step between the surfaces and without any impact caused by a sudden change in the guide direction. 70 is a positioning member for the tip end 26 of the branch rail 24, and need not be provided.

Returning to FIGS. 1 and 2, the operation of the guide surfaces 41 to 44 will be described. When the linear carrier travels straight toward the main road 12, there is no branch rail 24 on the side wall 15, and the upper and lower portions of the ground surface of the guide roller 47 are guided by the guide surfaces 41 and 42. On the other hand, at this time, since the side wall 16 itself curves toward the branch path 14, the guide roller 48 travels while being guided by the branch rail 24 at the center of the ground contact surface. When the linear transport vehicle travels toward the branch road 14, the guide surface 4
3, 44 guide the upper and lower portions of the contact surface of the guide roller 48, and the branch rail 24 guides the center portion of the contact surface of the guide roller 47. In either case, a stable guide having high symmetry, and the notches 40, 40 are provided at the center in the height direction of the guide surfaces of the guide rollers 47, 48 of the side walls 15, 16 to achieve such a result. can get.

FIG. 7 shows the arrangement of the rear end 28 of the branch rail 24. Similarly to the above, the side walls 17 and 18 are notched vertically near the rear end 28, and the rear end 28 is housed therein, and swings around the swing center 30. The rear end 28 penetrates into the side walls 17 and 18 in a vertical view. For example, in the state of being guided to the main road 12 side of the chain line in FIG.
And the guide surface of the side wall 17 intersect at the intersection C. If the angle between the two guide surfaces is made small here, 2
Since the two guide surfaces are substantially smoothly continuous, the impact caused by the transition of the guide surfaces can be ignored, and there is no gap between the guide surfaces. Similarly, in the state of being guided to the branch road 14 side, the guide surface of the guide rail 24 and the guide surface of the side wall 18 have an intersection D
In the same manner, the angle between the two guide surfaces is reduced at this portion so that the two guide surfaces can be connected almost smoothly without any step or gap between the guide surfaces.

The operation of the guide member 32 will be described. Immediately before branching, the guide rollers 47 and 48 have outer walls 15 and 16 on the outside.
Thus, the inside is guided by the guide member 32, and the posture is reliably determined. Since the vehicle enters the branch in this posture, even if the guide surface is not smoothly connected between the side walls 15 and 16 and the branch rail 24 at the switching portion of the guide to the branch rail 24, the branch can be smoothly performed without wobbling. Can be.
