Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はケーシング内に密閉された吸収性物体よりな
る、例えば、生理用ナプキン、パンティ保護帯または失
禁防護帯などの吸収性物品に関するものである。
この種の物品は従来のパンツまたはパンティの内側に
着用されるようにできていて、パンツの股に配置され
る。この物品は通常は物品に設けられた圧感接着剤のビ
ーズの助けを得てパンツに固着される。
この種の公知物品についての一つの特に大きな問題は
承服できない程の漏れ頻度が高いことである。生理用ナ
プキンやパンティ保護帯の場合に、こうした漏れはこれ
によって起きる肉体的不快感のみならず、着用者の衣服
の変色または全体的な損傷を起すことになる。
漏れは物品の長い側縁におこるのが通例である。
この理由は子供のおむつまたは重い失禁に悩む人々の
用いるおむつといった物品はこれが使用者の大腿部間の
空間に着用されるためには比較的幅を狭くした形状に作
らなければならないことである。物品に当ってこれに吸
収される液体は湿潤点を中心にあらゆる方向からほぼ同
じ速度で物品内に拡散する。生理用ナプキンなどのごと
き吸収性製品は通常細長くした方形をしているので、物
品が吸収した液体は物品の各端部分の吸収性が利用され
るよりもずっと前に物品の側縁に達する。この種の物品
での側縁の漏れに対するもう一つの理由はこの物品が使
用中にひどく変形していることである。この変形は着用
者の大腿部間に位置するために着用者の大腿部によって
機械的な力を受ける物品の部分内において最も顕著であ
る。この結果、着用者が排出した体液を最初に捕収する
目的に作ってある丁度その部域内の物品の幅がさらに減
少することになる。物品をパンツ内に着付けた最初の位
置が間違っていたために、または物品が使用中に間違っ
た位置へ移動していたために漏れが起ることもある。
生理用ナプキンおよびその同類物での漏れの危険を少
なくする一つの方法は、物品の吸収力を過度に大きくす
ることによって、着用者の股部分における狭い物品幅を
補償することにある。この方法もまた、もし着用者のパ
ンツ内における物品の位置を間違えた場合には、ある程
度は漏れの危険を小さくするであろう。
しかし、漏れの問題に対する完全な解決策とはならな
い。本文に意味するような吸収性物品は繊維素毛羽の吸
収パッドを備えていることが普通である。その理由は毛
羽は比較的安価な原料であり、十分に試みられた製造技
術で処理することができるからである。毛羽を吸収性材
料として使用する場合の主要な欠点は体積単位当りの吸
収性が比較的低いことである。その結果として、繊維素
毛羽で製造された製品は、所望の吸収容量が大きくなれ
ばなるほど、必然的に厚さが大きくなり且つ不細工の程
度も大きくなる。生理用ナプキン，パンティ保護帯，お
よび軽い失禁に苦しむ人々用の失禁防護帯などの物品は
成人、それも多くは健康で働ける人々が着用することを
目的にしたものである。従って、こうした物品は在来の
衣服の下に着用した場合目立たず、それでいて漏れない
ことが使用者の望む所である。物品はまた着用して不快
感を与えず、着用者の皮膚をこすってひりひりさせた
り、刺激したりしないことである。この点において、着
用者の皮膚に一番近い位置にある物品の表面が体液を吸
収後も、できる限り乾いていることが重要である。これ
は簡単にはできない。特に吸収性物が生理用ナキンであ
る場合、容易には達成できない。その理由は月経血液は
粘度が高いので生理用ナプキンの表面に付着しがちであ
るからである。生理用ナプキンにも失禁防護帯にも特に
顕著な所謂再湿潤が今一つの問題点である。再湿潤は吸
収パッドに既に吸収されてしまった体液が外力によっ
て、例えば着用者が着座する場合などに着用者の皮膚の
方へ押し戻されることを意味する。
しかし、本発明は漏れない且つ別個の部分から成り、
再湿潤傾向が低い吸収性物の製造に関連する先きに述べ
た諸々の問題を本質的に解決する文頭に定義したような
物品を提供するものである。
本発明の物品は吸収パッドが親水性繊維と超吸収性材
料の混合を含む第１吸収層と良好な液体展延性を有する
高圧縮性液体吸収性繊維材料よりなる第２吸収層とより
なり、上記において第１吸収層は使用中着用者の方に面
するようにした物品側に位置し、第２吸収層は使用中は
着用者から遠い物品側で第１吸収層と直かに接続した位
置にあるようにしたことを主たる特徴としている。
本発明のさらに別の特徴および発明の利点は付属の発
明の請求範囲において述べる。
本発明の互に異なる吸収特性を有する二つ吸収層の組
合せによって多数の利点が提供される。
上面層、即ち使用中は着用者に面するようにした層に
は所謂超吸収材料が含まれる。超吸収材料とは自体の重
量の数倍に相当する液を吸収できると共に膨張してゲル
を形成する親水性重合体のことである。超吸収材料また
は超吸収剤は種々異なる形で、例えば微粒、顆粒、薄
片、膜体および繊維の形で既に公知である。本発明に関
してこの超吸収材に課せられた唯一の必要条件は超吸収
材が親水性吸収繊維と好ましくは繊維素毛羽の形で可な
り均一に混合できることである。
上面吸収層の主目的は分泌体液が既に外側へ向かって
展延している底面層まで分泌体液を急速に下方へ通すこ
とにある。底面層はさらに底面吸収層から、物品に加え
られた外力によって、分泌体液が押し戻されることによ
って起る再湿潤に対し障壁を提供する。しかしのみなら
ず、体液は底面層の平面において展延させない。以前に
は普通のことであったのとは違って、こうしたことが、
使用中に着用者に面するようにした物品側に最も近く超
吸収体含有層を配置することによって本発明でみごとに
達成されている。この超吸収材は吸収された液体をゲル
状に化学的に固めるように作用する。これによって液は
上面の吸収層における湿潤点を中心に展延するのが効果
的に防止される。超吸収材は液を比較的にゆっくりと吸
収するので、相当量の体液が上面層に吸収されないうち
に物品面から液は移動し去ることができ、この液の移送
はこれら二つの吸収層間に重力的に且つ毛管現象の差に
よっておこなわれる。
底面吸収層、即ち使用中着用者から去る方へ向くよう
にした層が物品における液展延層としての役目を果すよ
うに圧縮される。
この圧縮によって底面層の繊維は密実に固まる結果に
なるので、隣接する繊維間の空隙は上面層の繊維間の空
隙より小さくなる。隣接繊維間の空隙が毛細管大とな
り、液は常に粗い毛細管から細い毛細管へと移送される
ので、吸収された体液は上面層から底面層へと活発に移
送される。この点において、特に大切なことはこれら二
つの吸収層が互に直接に連結しているので液体の大部分
は物品の深さ乃至厚さ範囲内に移送されることである。
底面吸収層の別の目的は最初に濡れた部域から遠い方
の吸収材料の吸収性でも効果的に利用できるように体液
を展延することにある。湿潤点を中心に所在する液は底
面層における材料の圧縮度が小さいために、上面層より
も底面層においてより広い範囲に展延する。しかしなが
ら、底面層と本質的には同じ程度まで均等に圧縮される
場合には、液体は湿潤点を中心にあらゆる方向に等しく
展延する。この場合、液体は物品の各側縁に速かに到達
して、その結果漏れをおこす。従って、液体が展延する
場合のパターンを変えて液がその横方向よりも縦方向に
多く展延するように圧縮パターンを底面層に与えるのが
適切である。このようなパターンは例えば周囲の吸収材
料の毛細管よりも細い毛細管を有する縦方向に延びる圧
縮線で達成できる。従って、吸収された体液は周囲材料
におけるよりもこの圧縮線に沿ってより迅速に展延す
る。圧縮線はかくして液体を物品の縦方向に展延させる
よう作用すると共に液体が物品を横切って移送されるの
を阻止する障壁の役目をする。しかしながら、物品の各
縁における漏れを防止するため、圧縮線を吸収層の各側
縁より僅かに内方で終わるようにすることが適切であ
る。
いくつかの場合に、例えば生理用ナプキンおよびパン
ティ保護帯の場合には、底面吸収層の各側縁に沿って圧
縮線をただ一つだけまたは数本を設けるだけで十分と云
える。これで側方の漏れに対して本質的には防護ができ
るが、一方では、液体は物品の縦方向により小さい範囲
に展延するだけである。このような漏れに対する障壁
は、例えばスエーデン特許明細書番号8804136−３号に
記載された形式の追加的圧縮パターンで補足することが
できる。
底面吸収層に体液が十分に浸み込むと、底面層からの
液は上面層で再び吸収されこの上面の層にある超吸収性
材料内に固められる。底面吸収層から外力で上面層内に
押圧されて戻された液体はさらに上面吸収層によって吸
収され固められる。本発明構造の吸収性物品は比較的長
時間着用されている場合でも驚くほど乾いた気持ちのよ
い表面を提供する。
本発明構造の吸収性物品が提供する今一つの利点はこ
の物品が非常に薄手に作られるのに吸収性を失うことが
なく、従って別個の部分からなり快適な物品を必要とす
る人々の使用に特に適している。しかし、薄い吸収性物
品に伴う一つの問題は使用中にしわができるとか、ある
いは変形して不適当になることが少なくないことであ
る。従って、変形を起させる外力に耐えるために物品に
は比較的剛さがなければならない。底面の吸収層はSIS
（スウェーデン国規格協会）65 00 43（布帛硬度測定
法：詳細は明細書の末尾に説明する）に従って測定され
た15.5cmから17.5cmの間に亘る剛性または硬さを備えて
いなければならないことが判った。底面層がSIS650043
による16.5cmの剛性を備えている場合、物品は特に良好
な特性を出す。この点において、本発明物品の圧縮され
た底面の吸収層は物品の望ましくない変形を防止する手
段として役立つことができる。この形式の物品では、底
面層は上面層より若干幅狭く、希望によってはまたより
短かくするように形成することが便利である。そうすれ
ば物品の縁部分はもっと軽く圧縮してもっと柔かな上面
吸収層で形成されよう。こうすればまた物品が着用者の
皮膚をこすってひりひりさせる危険も避けられる。
本発明の物品を以下の添付の図面に示した例示的実施
例を参考にさらに詳しく説明する。
図面の簡単な説明 図１は本発明の第１実施例による生理用ナプキンを使
用時着用者に面する側から見た上面図、 図２は図１に示した生理用ナプキンのII−II線に沿っ
た断面図、 図３および図４は本発明の液体移送の吸収層の種々異
なる実施例の説明図、 図５は本発明の第２実施例による生理用ナプキンの断
面図、 図６は本発明の第３実施例の生理用ナプキンを使用時
着用者の方に面するナプキン側から見た場合の説明図で
ある。
図７はSIS 65 00 43による布帛硬度測定法を説明する
ための図である。
図１および図２に示す生理用ナプキンは液透過性第１
外側シート１と、液不透過性第２外側シート２と、これ
ら二つの外側シート間に密閉された吸収パッド３とを含
む。液透過性外側シート１は使用中着用者の方に向くよ
うにしてある。これらの外側層は例えば種々異なる形式
の不織布または多孔性プラスチックである。液不透過性
外側シートまたは裏張りシート２には自己接着ビーズ４
が設けられていて、これによってナプキンはパンティの
内側に固定できる。液不透過性シート２は例えば液を透
過させないように処理されたプラスチック膜または不織
布よりなる。液不透過性シートが造られる材料はさらに
水蒸気を通過させるように呼吸可能な材料とすることが
できる。
吸収パッド３は二つの層5,6よりなる。図において上
面層である第１吸収層５は超吸収材料と親水性繊維、例
えば繊維素毛羽などの混合物を含む。本発明によれば、
適当な割合の超吸収材は吸収層５の総量の10乃至50％で
あることが判明している。超吸収材を約20重量％を含む
混合が特に適当であることが判った。これらの比率より
なる吸収層は十分な総吸収力のみならず良好な再湿潤お
よび液体展延特性を示す。
図において底面層で示す第２吸収層６は上面吸収層よ
りずっと大きく圧縮され、本質的には超吸収材を含まな
い。底面吸収層６は好ましくは圧縮パターン例えば図３
および図４に示したパターンが設けられ、これが生理用
ナプキンの縦方向に吸収された液体の展延を改良または
増進する。図３に示した吸収層６は多数の縦方向に延び
る圧縮線７を含み、これらの線がその縦方向に液体を展
延させるが線に対し直角方向へ液の展延するのを阻止す
るように作用する。
図４は吸収層の各縁に沿って設けた液体障壁の圧縮線
８とさらにこの圧縮線８より内側の圧縮線９とが設けら
れた吸収層を示す。
図５のナプキンは本質的には図１および図２に示した
生理用ナプキンと同じ構造である。従って、図１および
図２の説明に用いた参照符号を用いて図５の説明におい
て対応する構成要素として扱う。図５のナプキンが図１
および図２のナプキンと異なる点は上面吸収層５が底面
吸収層６より拡り範囲が大きくことである。このような
形状にしたナプキンは縁漏れ防止障壁の役目をも果す柔
軟で、摩擦によりひりひりさせない縁部分10を備えるこ
とになる。底面層６の縁11に達する吸収された液体は上
面層５の外方へ突出する部分10によって阻まれる。これ
は一部には毛細管構造がより粗であることとこのため上
面層５における液体の移送がより緩慢になるためである
が、また一部には上面層５が吸収された液体を化学的に
固めることによって液の展延をくじく超吸収材を含むこ
とが理由である。
排出された体液が本発明の生理用ナプキンに吸収され
ると、液は先ず液透過性シートを透通して下ってゆく。
このシートを作っている材料は実質的には液体が実際の
シートそのものには吸収されないことを保証する種類の
ものでなければならない。次いで液は吸収パッドの上面
吸収層５を通って移送されて下る。この液は一部は重力
的に、また一部には、上面吸収層５の粗い毛細管から底
面吸収層６の細い毛細管へ吸い込みにより液を排除する
毛管作用によって移送される。液の小量部分は液が上面
吸収層５を通過する際に上面層に吸収される。しかし、
この上面層における液の吸収および展延は液がこの上層
を急速に通過することによって大きく制限される。さら
に、詰ってない、ふわふわした繊維構造と超吸収材の混
合物との組合せがこの層５内の液の展延に対し特に効果
的な障壁を生み出している。
この液がもっと密実な繊維構造の底面吸収層６に達す
ると、この液はこの層内で外側へ向って展延する。以下
に説明するように、この層での液の展延は底面層６にお
ける圧縮線のパターンを設けることによって制御でき
る。底面層６の液を展延させることによって、この層の
吸収材を、この層が浸潤してこの液の一部が上面吸収層
５に再び吸収されないうちに、非常に広範囲に利用する
ことができる。上面層５における液の再吸収およびその
ためこの再吸収によりこの層の利用は液展延能力の低い
超吸収層で可能なよりもずっと大きな部域に亘っておこ
なわれる。今まで生理用ナプキンに超吸収材を使用する
ことは無意味だと考えられてきたが、これは超吸収材の
吸収力が極く狭い範囲に利用できるに過ぎないと考えら
れていたためである。さらに詳しく云うと、月経血液は
粘度が高く、例えば尿と比べると在来の吸収パッドにお
いては展延が劣っている。それだけでは液の展延を妨げ
る超吸収材であっても、これを含む吸収パッドが包入さ
れる場合にはナプキンの湿潤点を中心にした周りの部域
だけは吸収目的に利用できる。
上面吸収層に封入するために選ばれた適当な超吸収材
は囲撓する繊維構造をほぐすように液が吸収されるにつ
れて膨張し、従って液は吸収パッドが新しく未使用の場
合よりももっと速く吸収パッド中に移送される。この点
で特に適当な特性を有することが判った超吸収材は日本
触媒株式会社から販売のアクアリックCAW3である。他の
因子で液透過性外側シートの方へ押し戻される体液もま
た上面吸収層の超吸収材によって吸収され固められる。
図1,図２および図５に示されたナプキンと同様に、図
６の生理用ナプキンは液透過性上面シート１と、液不透
過性裏張りシート２と、これら両シート間に密閉された
本発明の吸収パッド３とよりなる。
二枚の外側シート１および２は使用中前方に向って着
用者に位置するようにナプキンの端13に吸収パッド３の
縦方向側縁12を僅かに越えた先きに延びている。可撓性
側面フラップ14,15はこのようにナプキンの前側部分13
において吸収パッド３の互に対向する側に形成されてい
る。使用に際して、これらの側面フラップは使用者のパ
ンツの脚を通す開口のバンドまたは境界帯の周りに折り
曲げられまたは巻きつけられてこの側面フラップに設け
られた圧感接着剤面16,17によってそれらのバンドまた
は境界帯の外側に取付けられる。
本発明によって、生理用ナプキンおよび失禁防護帯に
超吸収材の効果的利用が可能になるので、極めて薄い強
力な吸収性物品の製造が可能である。しかし、こうした
物品の目的とする機能に否定的影響を持つような変形を
物品の使用中に起すのを防止することは困難である。し
かしながら、着用者のパンティの脚を通す開口の周りに
固定される可撓性側面フラップ14,15は使用中そのよう
な変形を回避するように着用者の陰部上にナプキンを伸
張して保持する作用をする。
本発明は生理用ナプキンを参考にして以上のごとく説
明したが、本発明がさらにパンティ保護帯や失禁防護帯
にも同様に使用できることを理解されたい。本発明は関
係する物品の寸法および形状に特別な注意を必要とする
使用部域にただ限定したに過ぎないのである。
本発明の物品はさらに強化手段またはこれに類似の手
段を含むこともでき図示説明の手段以外の形状および取
付け手段を備えることができる。
次の請求の範囲内で多数の実施型が考えられる。
前述のスウェーデン国規格協会の布帛硬度測定法（SI
S 65 00 43）について以下に詳しく説明する。
布帛の硬度特性の測定 テスト方法 A. 目的 この測定方法によるテストは以下に述べる条件での布
帛の硬度特性の測定を言う。
B. 一組の装置 B.1 滑らかな表面を有する水平測定テーブル。このテ
ーブルの短い端の一方は傾斜した平面に続いている。こ
の傾斜した平面と水平面との間の角度は41.5゜である。
この器具は図７の（ａ）に従って折り曲げたシートで構
成されうる。
B.2 mmで目盛られた検査目盛りを有するゴム張り定規 C. 試料採取 試料を採取するとき、SIS 65 00 01（布帛テストのた
めの一般的指図）の解説を読むこと。
少なくとも五つの試料を図７の（ｂ）のテンプレート
を用いて布帛から緯方向および経方向の両方において切
り出すかまたは切り抜く。試料を取る場所は布帛の幅お
よび長さ方向を横切って分布されていて、経方向の試料
は同じ経糸を含まず、緯方向の試料は同じ緯糸を含まな
いようにする。
試料は布帛の織り耳から少なくとも5cmを置く。布帛
の折り目やしわの部分は除かれるが、試料は不必要に処
理されてはいけない。整えられていない布帛はテスト前
にプレス・アイロンおよび湿りプレス布で丁寧にプレス
される。
テンプレートは図７の（ｂ）の通り二等辺三角形の形
をしている。
D. テスト手順 試料はテストの間規格化されたテスト条件下にあり、
テストは標準大気において行われる。
D.1 柔軟な硬さの布帛および中間の硬さの布帛 試料を水平な測定テーブルに置き、試料の先端が傾斜
した平面の上方の縁線に位置するようにする。試料の上
に試料に沿って下側がゴム張りされた定規を置き、定規
のゼロ印が前記の傾斜した平面の上方縁線に一致するよ
うにする。この定規を試料と共に水平な測定テーブルの
縁を越えてゆっくりと移動させる。これにより、試料の
突出部分が前記の傾斜した平面の方へ下方へ曲がる。試
料の突出先端が前記の傾斜した平面の表面に着いたと
き、定規の突出長さを読み取る。この長さは「テスト曲
げ長さ」と呼ばれる。定規は10−15秒後に前記の読み取
りができるような速度で動かされる。各試料は二度測定
される。すなわち表側で測定しそして裏側を上方にして
再度測定される。
D.2 硬い布帛 試料の先端に重錘をかけて適当な「テスト曲げ長さ」
となるようにする。その重錘は出来るだけ先端近くにし
て試料に固定される。好ましくは重錘は試料を挟むＵ字
形鉛板からなり、この重錘の重心が試料の先端に一致す
るようになされる（試料の先端は鉛製の重錘で損傷され
やすいので、試料の先端をテープの如き覆いで保護す
る）。
測定は柔軟な硬さの布帛および中間の硬さの布帛と同
じようにして行われる。
E. 「テスト曲げ長さ」の計算と表現 E.1 柔軟な硬さの布帛および中間の硬さの布帛（D.1に
従うテスト） 「テスト曲げ長さ」の値の平均値ｈがcmで求められて
それがそのままテスト曲げ長さとして与えられる。
E.2 硬い布帛（D.2に従うテスト） 「テスト曲げ長さ」の測定値の平均値ｈ′が求められ
る。下の式を用いて、この値ｈ′から布帛の対応するテ
スト曲げ長さ（試料片の先端に重錘を付けないときに得
られるテスト曲げ長さ）を計算する。
ｈ′＝測定されたテスト曲げ長さ（cm） ｈ＝重錘を付けない布帛のテスト曲げ長さ（cm） Ｐ＝付加した重錘（ｇ） ｐ＝布帛の重さ（g/cm2） 上記式は図７（ｂ）のテンプレートと同じ形の試料片
のみにあてはまる（試料片の先端の角度は17.06゜）。
ｐの値はSIS（スウェーデン国規格協会）65 00 22に従
って求められる。
F. 曲げ硬さの測定と表示 曲げ硬さは前記テスト曲げ長さから計算される。曲げ
硬さＳは均一な幅を有する布帛ストリップの曲げ半径と
曲げモーメントの積である。1cmの単位幅を有するスト
リップの曲げ硬さ（ここでは比曲げ硬さS1と定義され
る）が表示される。

Claims (12)

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】第１液体透過性外側シート（１）と第２液
    体不透過性外側シート（２）とよりなるケーシング（1,
    2）内に密閉された吸収パッドで、親水性繊維および超
    吸収性材料の混合物で構成された第１吸収層（５）とこ
    れに直結された第２吸収層（６）とによって形状が与え
    られた吸収パッドよりなる吸収性物品において、上記第
    １吸収層（５）が使用中着用者の方に面する物品の側の
    液体透過性シート（１）の直ぐ内側に配置され、上記第
    ２吸収性層（６）が上記液体透過性シート（１）に関し
    て上記第１吸収層（５）の向こう側に配置されて高度に
    圧縮され従って良好な液体展延性を示す液体吸収性繊維
    材料よりなることを特徴とする吸収性物品。
  2. 【請求項２】前記第１吸収層（５）が繊維素毛羽と超吸
    収性材料との混合物より構成されていることと、前記第
    ２吸収層（６）が繊維素毛羽より構成されていることを
    特徴とする請求の範囲１に記載の物品。
  3. 【請求項３】前記第２吸収層（６）が少なくとも二つの
    縦方向に延びる圧縮線を有することを特徴とする請求の
    範囲１または２に記載の物品。
  4. 【請求項４】前記圧縮線が前記第２吸収層（６）の周辺
    縁より内方に終っていることを特徴とする請求の範囲３
    に記載の物品。
  5. 【請求項５】前記第２吸収層（６）が前記縦方向に延び
    る圧縮線より内方にパターン状に配置された別の圧縮線
    を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲３または４に記載の
    物品。
  6. 【請求項６】前記第１吸収層（５）が10〜50重量％の超
    吸収性材料を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲１乃至５
    のいずれか１項に記載の物品。
  7. 【請求項７】前記第１吸収層（５）が20重量％の超吸収
    性材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項１乃至５のいずれ
    か１項に記載の物品。
  8. 【請求項８】前記第２吸収層（６）が前記第１吸収層
    （５）より幅の狭いことを特徴とする請求の範囲１乃至
    ７のいずれか１項に記載の物品。
  9. 【請求項９】前記第２吸収層（６）が前記第１吸収層
    （５）より長さの短いことを特徴とする請求の範囲１乃
    至８のいずれか１項に記載の物品。
  10. 【請求項１０】前記第２吸収層（６）がSIS650043によ
    り測定された15.5cm乃至17.5cmの硬度を有することを特
    徴とする請求の範囲１乃至９のいずれか１項に記載の物
    品。
  11. 【請求項１１】前記第２吸収層（６）がSIS650043によ
    り測定された16.5cmの硬度を有することを特徴とする請
    求の範囲１乃至９のいずれか１項に記載の物品。
  12. 【請求項１２】前記物品が使用中着用者の方に面するよ
    うにした物品の側に第１液体透過性外側シート（１）
    と、使用中着用者から遠い物品の側に配置の液体不透過
    性第２外側シート（２）とよりなり、上記外側シート
    （1,2）は吸収パッド（３）の周りで互に接続されて吸
    収パッドの両側にパンティの脚を通す開口の周りに折り
    曲げられるようにした外側に向って突出する側面フラッ
    プ（14,15）を形成し、且つ該側面フラップはこれに設
    けられた接着剤表面（16,17）により上記パンティの外
    面に取付け可能になされていることを特徴とする請求の
    範囲１乃至11のいずれか１項に記載の物品。
