Description

The present invention relates to a fence that can be easily installed while preventing breakage due to thermal expansion.

Some fences installed on the outer periphery of a garden, a wood deck, or the like are configured by combining struts, cross members, and vertical plates. For example, after fixing the lower portions of a plurality of support pillars in the ground or on the deck floor at a predetermined interval, the fences are fixed with a plurality of cross members separated vertically between adjacent support pillars. It is installed by fixing multiple vertical plates to the cross member.

However, it takes time and labor to fix a plurality of vertical plates at equal intervals. In addition, when the vertical plate is fixed between the cross members using screws or the like, the thermal expansion of the vertical plate may apply an excessive force to the support column, the cross member, and the vertical plate, and the fence may be damaged. Although a fence corresponding to this problem is known (Patent Document 1), the appearance of a fence that can be installed more easily is desired.

Utility Model Registration No. 3182471

Hereinafter, the fence of this invention is demonstrated based on each embodiment, referring drawings. The drawings schematically show the fence, members constituting the fence, and members around the fence, and the actual dimensions and ratios of these objects are not necessarily the same as the dimensions and ratios on the drawings. Absent. In addition, repeated description is omitted as appropriate, and the same reference numerals may be given to the same members.

FIG. 1 is a front view of a fence 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a top view of the fence 10 of FIG. FIG. 3 is a partially enlarged view of the fence 10 of FIG. 1 taken along the line AA. As shown in FIG. 1, the fence 10 includes a pair of support columns 12 and 14, cross members 16 and 18, and a vertical plate 20. The support columns 12 and 14 have a quadrangular prism shape whose bottom surface is a square or a rectangle, and is made of wood or resin. The pillars 12 and 14 are installed such that the lower part is fixed to a wood deck or the like, or the lower part is buried in the ground.

The cross members 16 and 18 are elongate members made of metal such as aluminum or stainless steel, and are attached between the pair of support columns 12 and 14. Specifically, the cross members 16 and 18 are attached to the front surfaces of the columns 12 and 14 by screws or the like. In addition to screwing, a method of fixing with an adhesive, a method of providing a concave portion on the front surface of the support column, and fixing by inserting a cross member can be employed. The cross members 16 and 18 are provided with groove portions 16a and 18a each having a U-shaped vertical cross section. The groove portions 16a and 18a are provided from one end to the other end along the length of the cross member 16 and 18, and both ends are open. In this embodiment, both ends of the groove portions 16a and 18a are open, but a cross member in which only one end of the groove portion is open may be used.

The vertical plate 20 is a rectangular plate-like member and is made of wood, resin, or the like. In the present embodiment, there are six vertical plates 20, but the number of the vertical plates 20 is not particularly limited. Horizontal bars 22 and 24 are attached to the back surface 20 a of the vertical plate 20. Further, behind the vertical plate 20, slide members 26 and 28 to be mounted in the grooves 16a and 18a, respectively, are provided. The slide members 26 and 28 are elongate members comprising holding parts 26a and 28a made of a metal such as aluminum or stainless steel and having a U-shaped vertical cross section.

The slide members 26 and 28 hold the horizontal bars 22 and 24 so as to sandwich the horizontal bars 22 and 24 inside the holding portions 26a and 28a. In the present embodiment, irregularities are formed on at least a part of the surfaces of the holding portions 26a, 28a that are in contact with the horizontal bars 22, 24. For this reason, when the horizontal bars 22 and 24 are inserted and pinched inside the holding portions 26a and 28a, the horizontal bars 22 and 24 are not easily removed from the slide members 26 and 28.

After the vertical plate 20, the horizontal bars 22, 24, and the slide members 26, 28 are integrated to form the panel unit 30, the slide members 26, 28 are respectively attached to the horizontal members 16, 18 attached to the support columns 12, 14. When attached, the fence 10 is assembled. A detailed method of assembling the fence 10 will be described later. Thus, the horizontal bars 22 and 24 are attached to the back surface 20a of the vertical plate 20, and the vertical cross section is held by the holding parts 26a and 28a having a U-shape so that the horizontal bars 22 and 24 are sandwiched. Easy to make. For this reason, if the slide members 26 and 28 are attached to the cross members 16 and 18, the vertical plate 20 can be easily attached to the cross members 16 and 18.

Further, outer grooves 26b and 28b are formed on the outer surfaces of the holding portions 26a and 28a of the slide members 26 and 28, respectively. In the present embodiment, the outer grooves 26b and 28b are formed at positions opposite to the back surfaces 22a and 24a of the horizontal bars 22 and 24 with the holding portions 26a and 28a interposed therebetween. For this reason, if the thickness of the space inside the holding portions 26a and 28a is made slightly smaller than the thickness of the horizontal bars 22 and 24, the horizontal bars 22 and 24 are inserted into the holding portions 26a and 28a. The holding portions 26a and 28a are easily spread. Further, the slide members 26 and 28 can firmly hold the horizontal bars 22 and 24 by the restoring force of the extended holding portions 26a and 28a.

The groove portion 16a includes outer projecting lines 16b and 16s on the inner surface thereof and inner projecting lines 16c and 16t disposed inside the outer projecting lines 16b and 16s. The groove portion 18a also includes outer projecting lines 18b and 18s on the inner surface thereof and inner projecting lines 18c and 18t disposed on the inner side of the outer projecting lines 18b and 18s. Here, the outer side of the groove means the opening side of the groove, and the inner side of the groove means the opposite side, that is, the bottom side of the groove. The slide member 26 includes slide protrusion lines 26c and 26s on the outer surface thereof. Similarly, the slide member 28 also includes slide protrusion lines 28c and 28s on its outer surface.

The slide member 26 is mounted from the lateral opening 16d of the groove 16a so that the slide protrusion lines 26c and 26s are disposed between the outer protrusion lines 16b and 16s and the inner protrusion lines 16c and 16t. Similarly, the slide member 28 is also mounted from the lateral opening 18d of the groove 18a so that the slide protrusion lines 28c and 28s are disposed between the outer protrusion lines 18b and 18s and the inner protrusion lines 18c and 18t.

For this reason, the vertical board 20 is easy to install on the cross members 16 and 18, and the fence 10 is easily assembled. Further, with the slide member 26 mounted in the groove 16a, a gap is provided between the protruding end 26d of the slide protruding line 26c and the inner surface 16e of the groove 16a facing the protruding end 26d. Similarly, with the slide member 28 mounted in the groove 18a, a gap is provided between the protruding end 28d of the slide protruding line 28c and the inner surface 18e of the groove 18a facing the protruding end 28d.

Thus, since the protrusions 26d and 28d and the inner surfaces 16e and 18e facing the protrusions 26d and 28d of the grooves 16a and 18a are separated from each other, even if the vertical plate 20 is thermally expanded in the vertical direction, that is, in the vertical direction, The protrusions 26d and 28d can move to the inner surfaces 16e and 18e, and the breakage of the fence 10 can be suppressed. That is, the distance between the protrusions 26d and 28d and the inner surfaces 16e and 18e facing the protrusions 26d and 28d of the grooves 16a and 18a may be set so that the fence 10 is not damaged by the thermal expansion of the vertical plate 20. In addition, when there are two or more slide projecting lines as in the present embodiment, there is no need to provide a gap between the projecting ends of the slide projecting lines and the inner surface of the groove facing the projecting ends. What is necessary is just to provide a clearance above or below (in this embodiment, above).

In the present embodiment, the vertical members 40 and 42 are attached to both end faces 22 b and 22 c of the horizontal bar 22 and both end faces 24 b and 24 c of the horizontal bar 24. The vertical members 40 and 42 are rectangular plate-like members and are made of wood or resin. The vertical members 40 and 42 are larger than the openings 16d and 18d on both sides of the groove portions 16a and 18a. For this reason, the slide members 26 and 28 do not fall out of the cross members 16 and 18. The vertical members 40, 42 are fixed to both end faces 22b, 22c, 24b, 24c of the horizontal bars 22, 24, for example, by screwing. Note that the vertical plate 30 may be used as the vertical members 40 and 42.

On the outer surface of the slide member 26, auxiliary slide projecting lines 26e and 26t are further provided at positions inside the groove from the inner projecting line 16c of the cross member 16. Similarly, the slide member 28 further includes auxiliary slide protrusion lines 28e and 28t on the outer surface at a position inside the inner protrusion line 18c of the cross member 18. By providing the auxiliary slide protrusion lines 26e and 26t, it is possible to prevent the slide member 26 from rattling in the vertical direction inside the cross member 16. Similarly, by providing the auxiliary slide protrusion lines 28e and 28t, it is possible to prevent the slide member 28 from rattling in the vertical direction inside the cross member 18. In addition, the quantity of the sub slide protrusion line is not particularly limited.

Next, a method for assembling the fence 10 will be described. 4 to 8 are side views or front views for explaining a method of assembling the fence 10. First, as shown in FIG. 4, the panel unit 30 is produced. That is, after the horizontal bars 22 and 24 are fixed to the back surface 20a of the vertical plate 20 by, for example, screwing or the like, the slide members 26 and 28 are mounted so as to sandwich the horizontal bars 22 and 24. Next, as shown in FIG. 5, the lower portions of the columns 12 and 14 are fixed in the ground with concrete or the like.

And as shown in FIG. 6, the cross members 16 and 18 are attached to the front surfaces 12a and 14a of the support | pillars 12 and 14 by screwing etc., for example. At this time, the interval between the cross members 16 and 18 is made to correspond to the interval between the slide members 26 and 28. Next, as shown in FIG. 7, the slide members 26 and 28 are mounted through the lateral openings 16d and 18d of the grooves 16a and 18a of the cross members 16 and 18, and are moved laterally. When the slide members 26 and 28 are laterally moved to a predetermined position, the vertical members 40 and 42 are fixed to both end faces 22b, 22c, 24b and 24c of the horizontal bars 22 and 24 as shown in FIG.

As mentioned above, although the fence of this invention was demonstrated based on embodiment, the fence of this invention is not limited to the said embodiment. The slide member may be prevented from dropping from the cross member by attaching a cap or the like to both end faces of the horizontal bar instead of the vertical member. In the above embodiment, two cross members are used, but only one or three or more cross members may be used. Moreover, the width | variety of a vertical board, the space | interval of vertical boards, etc. can be changed suitably. Further, instead of a single horizontal bar, horizontal bars may be provided for each vertical plate, and these horizontal bars may be sandwiched between slide members. In this case, if a horizontal bar having a predetermined length longer than the width of the vertical plate is used, a panel unit in which the vertical plates are arranged at equal intervals can be easily produced.
