2. Description of the Related Art Hitherto, chlorofluoroethane-based compounds (fluorocarbons) and chlorine-based solvents such as trichloroethane and trichloroethylene have been widely used as cleaning agents, particularly industrial cleaning agents such as machines and instruments. These solvents have the selective solubility of dissolving fats, oils, greases, waxes, and the like, and have the remarkable advantage of nonflammability, and are widely used.

In recent years, however, some types of chlorofluorocarbons, such as chlorofluorocarbon 113, and chlorinated solvents, such as 1,1,1-trichloroethane, have excellent cleaning effects, but have a global environmental problem of depletion of the ozone layer. In terms of
In recent years, regulations or restrictions on production and use have been made, or
Its use has been problematic internationally. Therefore, instead of these cleaning agents, cleaning agents of alcohol type, terpene type and hydrocarbon type have been studied. However,
All of these have insufficient detergency, are flammable,
There are problems such as high foaming property, detergency not sustained, and damage to the object to be cleaned. Further, there has been proposed a cleaning agent in which a hydrophobic solvent and water are co-dissolved through the intermediation of a water-soluble solvent to exclude dangerous substances under the Fire Service Law (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-29).
No. 4093), however, it is difficult to obtain a uniform detergent, and even if the surfactant is used for homogenization, not only a surfactant having a low HLB is difficult to homogenize but also an insufficient point such as easy foaming. Many. In the cleaning agent proposed in JP-A-3-9772, water is added to a water-soluble glycol ether-based solvent, but the detergency is reduced by adding water. JP-A-3-62895 discloses a polyalkylene glycol monoalkyl (having 6 to 22 carbon atoms).
Further, US Pat. No. 3,886,099 and JP-A-4-57897 propose that a detergent using an ether is used in combination with a glycol ether and an amine. However, in the former, a specific water-soluble glycol ether is preferred, and in the latter two, a glycol ether having a hydrocarbon residue having 4 to 14 carbon atoms is particularly preferred. As described above, the use of amines improves the detergency, but the dissolving power is not sufficient, and the detergency is not only long-lasting, but also has insufficient plasticity and is still satisfactory. Has not been obtained.

As a solvent having low water solubility, there is a completely water-insoluble solvent such as a hydrocarbon compound which has been conventionally used, and such a completely water-insoluble solvent is a stable detergent when mixed with water. Because it is difficult to obtain
It is necessary to have hydrophilicity, and a polypropylene glycol monoalkyl ether solvent is most suitable. On the other hand, the water-soluble solvent alone has a weak detergency against oily stains.

Therefore, by blending a completely water-soluble polyethylene glycol alkyl ether-based solvent and the above-mentioned polypropylene glycol monoalkyl ether-based solvent in a specific ratio, the solvent has an ability to dissolve various stains such as wax, resin and grease. The present invention has been found not only to be able to dramatically improve, but also to obtain a surprising result that the stability against metals and plastics is extremely good, thereby completing the present invention. Here, when the amount of the polypropylene glycol monoalkyl ether-based solvent represented by the general formula (I) is too large in the combination of the two solvents, the durability of the detergency decreases. On the other hand, when the amount of the polyethylene glycol alkyl ether-based solvent represented by the above general formula (II) is too large, the detergency against oily stains and the stability against plastics and metals are reduced. Therefore, it is necessary to mix and use both types of solvents, and the mixing ratio is important. This mixing ratio is usually 0.1 to 0.1 as a weight ratio of the compound represented by the general formula (I) to the compound represented by the general formula (II).
5, preferably 0.2 to 2. When the mixing ratio is out of the above range, a cleaning composition having excellent detergency, long lasting detergency, and excellent stability against plastics and metals cannot be obtained.

The polyethylene glycol alkyl ether solvent which is completely soluble in water and represented by the general formula (II) used in the present invention is a mono- or di-alkyl ether of polyethylene glycol. Monoethyl ether, diethyl ether, monopropyl ether, dipropyl ether, monobutyl ether and dibutyl ether of di, tri and tetraethylene glycol are included. Its usage is
In the cleaning composition of the present invention, it is 15 to 80% by weight, preferably 30 to 70% by weight. If this amount is less than 15% by weight, it is difficult to obtain a uniform composition when mixed with water,
On the other hand, if it exceeds 80% by weight, the stability to plastic decreases.

A second feature of the present invention is that an alkanolamine represented by the above general formula (III) is further used in combination. Thereby, the detergent composition of the present invention exhibits extremely high detergency even without adding a detersive surfactant. Further, it not only enhances the detergency, but also has a high rust prevention property against metals and has a long lasting detergency. As a result, the object to be cleaned can be cleaned without being corroded, and the running cost can be reduced.
The used amount is 5 to 15% by weight, preferably 6 to 10% by weight in the cleaning composition of the present invention. If the amount used is less than 5% by weight, both the detergency and rust resistance are reduced, and the durability of the detergency is shortened. On the other hand, if it exceeds 15% by weight, the viscosity increases and the detergency also increases the amount used. It doesn't rise as much as it did.

Further, the amount of water used is also important, and is 5 to 10% by weight in the cleaning composition of the present invention. If the amount of water used exceeds 10% by weight, the detergency decreases, while if the amount of water used is less than 5% by weight, it shows a flash point and is regarded as a dangerous substance under the Fire Service Law.

Evaluation method for stability against metal Put 50 g of a detergent in a 50 ml sample bottle, immerse various metal test pieces in this while heating in a constant temperature bath at 50 ° C., and then leave at room temperature for 4 hours. Then, the state of the surface of the metal test piece after washing with acetone was visually observed, and evaluated by the weight change rate.

The cleaning composition of the present invention has the following advantages: (1) It has excellent detergency, for example, it has particularly excellent detergency against flux, oil, grease, wax and the like. (2) Since it has good resistance to metals and plastics, it is suitably used for cleaning various printed circuit boards and metal parts. (3) Long-lasting detergency enables long-term use, thus reducing running costs. Therefore, the cleaning composition of the present invention is widely and suitably used in various cleaning methods as an alternative to the conventional fluorocarbon and chlorine-based cleaning agents.
