し「ゴボゴボ」といった異音が発生する。この異音発生
を防止するために、特開平1−174730号公報に
は、第4,5図の如く第2下降部2を上昇部1に対し偏
心させ、上昇部1から第2下降部2内に流入する水が第
2下降部2の内周面に沿って旋回するよう構成した排水
トラップが記載されている。第2下降部2の内面に沿っ
て水が旋回しながら落下すると、第2下降部2の軸心部
分は空洞となり、第2下降部2の下から上までつながっ
た空気柱が形成され、これにより第2下降部2内の落下
水による負圧発生が解消される。そして、封水の吸引排
出も無くなり、異音も防止される。
