No. 582, Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-189317, etc. Of these, the one disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-67863 relates to a decorative material comprising chips having a wavy (or crimped) appearance using a reflective fine particle material. The thickness of the chip to be used is 0.025 to 0.5 mm in the maximum range, and a malt obtained by mixing a vinyl chloride resin and a plasticizer is used. Therefore, the appearance of the obtained decorative material is such that the wavy shape or the crimped shape is emphasized.

[0003] Next, Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-69582 discloses a critical portion between a glossy portion in which pigments having a flat structure mixed into a synthetic resin are arranged in a certain direction and a glossy portion in which the arrangement direction is different. The cell pattern provided was revealed. On the other hand, what is shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-189317 is related to a method of producing a design sheet by heating and pressing a mixture of fine flaky mica and a transparent resin processed under certain conditions, and uniformly. By dispersing the dispersed pigments in a certain direction, the colors of the reflected light and the transmitted light have a complementary color relationship and exhibit their effects.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a sheet made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin, using a pattern which cannot be obtained by these conventional methods, that is, using a chip of a film in which a pigment having a flat structure to be used is oriented. In a sheet in which a pigment having a flat plate-like structure is mixed, the pattern is a large number of continuous irregular-shaped cell patterns, and the inside of the cells has an independent striped pattern for each cell. It provides a patterned sheet with a three-dimensional effect, and its design effect is that it is not long enough to feel a different three-dimensional glossy pattern depending on the viewing angle and position, and in some cases, some cells The present invention has a unique design effect in which the appearance changes as if a stripe pattern in the inside is unnatural, and provides a novel decorative material and a method for producing the same.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, a pigment (1) having a flat structure, such as a pearl pigment, is mixed with a thermoplastic synthetic resin, and the pigments are arranged in a predetermined direction by a calendar method or the like. Make a film or sheet (2). The thickness of the film or sheet (2) is 0.1
mm to 3 mm, a plurality of the films or sheets (2) are stacked and bonded to form a sheet (3) having a thickness of 0.3 to 15 mm, and the thickness is then reduced to 0. 3 by a slice or other method. A chip (4) having a thickness of 3 to 3 mm is prepared.
The obtained chips (4) are laid so that they do not overlap each other, and are sown on a press (5) so that the cross section of each chip with the laminated state exposed faces upward, and is heated and pressed to form a plastic sheet (6). As a result, the overlapped and connected portions of the sown chips (4) form a cell pattern one by one, and the lamination cross section in each chip changes to a striped pattern in each cell. The resulting pattern reveals a new three-dimensional glossy flow pattern in which the overlapping and connected joints of the chips are emphasized.

As the thermoplastic resin used here, any material can be used as long as it can be processed into a sheet by a calender roll or a T-die extruder. For example, a polyvinyl chloride resin, a polyolefin resin, an acrylic resin can be used. , Polyester resins, polycarbonate resins and the like. A pearl pigment composed of scale-like mica coated with titanium dioxide in a thin film form is dispersed in the resin in an amount of 0.5 to 5 parts by weight so that the scale-like structure is not broken. Chips are obtained.

A flat-plate pigment such as a pearl pigment originally reflects light that strikes a flat plate as shown in FIG. 7A, but light incident from the cross-sectional direction of the pigment passes through the pigment as shown in FIG. 7B. Proceed through. Therefore, the flat plate-like pigment (1) in the sheet (6) obtained by the present invention has a pigment arrangement as schematically shown in cross section in FIG. Depending on the arrangement state, it becomes reflected light (8) or transmitted light (9), and the direction of the reflected light (8) is also affected by the pigment arrangement state and changes continuously. A cell pattern having a complicated and three-dimensional independent glossy striped pattern on the inside appears.
Accordingly, a novel design sheet having a cell pattern can be obtained in which the three-dimensional glossy pattern changes delicately and variously depending on the position and angle at which the sheet is viewed.

Here, in order to arrange the pearl pigments arranged in the horizontal direction in the vertical direction, a method such as pressing with a graining roll is used. However, in this method, it is difficult to obtain a flat sheet, and the pattern is also continuous. Is difficult to change. On the other hand, pearl pigments arranged in the vertical direction easily change into a continuous pattern by pressing vertically and become a flat sheet, but surprisingly, the continuous pattern obtained at this time is a flat sheet. Despite the presence, a three-dimensional appearance is obtained. The degree of the change can intentionally change the obtained gloss state depending on the thickness of the sheet (2), the number of sheets to be overlapped, the size of the chips, the degree of chip sowing, and the like.
