Abstract
【解決手段】雄ねじ1のねじ山2が、鋭角度αの山角の断面三角形の山頂部2Aと、該山頂部2Aの下部には前記山頂部2Aよりも大きな角度βにて谷部3に連なる裾広がりの左右の誘導脚辺部4,4を有するねじ山拡大本体部2Bと、よりなる二段の角度にて所望ピッチP1にて形成されることを特徴とする。

、充分な締結性が得られ、また、製作時における歩留まりが高く、構造的に堅牢なセルフタッピングねじを提供することを目的とする。
ねじ込み初期に同一軌跡をもって下穴にねじ込むまれ、雌ねじ破壊を起こすことなく、高い繰返し使用により、充分な締結性が得られる。

Claims (6)
- 雄ねじのねじ山が、鋭角度の断面三角形の山頂部と、該山頂部の下部には前記山頂部よりも大きな角度にて谷部に連なる裾広がりの左右の誘導脚辺部を有するねじ山拡大本体部と、よりなる二段の角度にて所望ピッチにて形成されることを特徴とする樹脂用タッピングねじ。
- 前記山頂部が、その山角を38°〜42°に形成され、前記ねじ山拡大本体部の前記誘導脚辺部がなす角度が、77°〜83°に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の樹脂用タッピングねじ。
- 前記山頂部における挟辺部の下端と、前記ねじ山拡大本体部の前記誘導脚辺部の上端とが交わる二段の角度の変化点が、合成樹脂取付基材に設ける雌ねじの下穴径よりも径小位置に配置されるように前記山頂部の山高を設定するようにして前記下穴の内面と前記雄ねじの谷部との間にクリアランスが確保されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の樹脂用タッピングねじ。
- 前記ねじ山本体拡大部の前記誘導脚辺部の下端が谷に交叉する谷面上の2点間の長さが、雄ねじの前記山頂部の山角を谷まで延長した時に、交点がなす谷面上の2点間の長さの、約1.5倍であることを特徴とする請求項1−3の何れかの請求項に記載の樹脂用タッピングねじ。
- 前記雄ねじの先端ポイント部の谷径が、雄ねじ本体部の谷径に略一致して設けられ、前記先端ポイント部の長さは雄ねじ部の先端から1.27〜3.18に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1−4の何れかの請求項に記載の樹脂用タッピングねじ。
- 雄ねじ本体のねじ山間のピッチが、1.27〜1.59に形成されることを特徴とする
請求項1−5の何れかの請求項に記載の樹脂用タッピングねじ。
