2. Description of the Related Art As a method of constructing a wall by stacking block materials, a method of constructing a block wall using a concrete block provided with a vertically penetrating cavity is well known.
Recently, as a concrete block for constructing a fire wall, an engagement protrusion and an engagement groove for stacking and positioning of vertically adjacent blocks are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the block. When the blocks are stacked, the engaging projections and the engaging grooves of the upper and lower blocks are engaged with each other to prevent the blocks from slipping, so that it is not necessary to apply mortar for joining between the blocks, and almost no reinforcing steel bar is required. become.

In the above-mentioned block wall construction method, a joining mortar is provided between adjacent blocks in both left and right directions and up and down directions, and furthermore, mortar is arranged while arranging a reinforcing bar in a hollow portion. The work of filling is necessary. Therefore, the construction requires considerable experience and a lot of labor and time. On the other hand, a block for a wall provided with a projection and a groove for engagement does not require mortar filling and rebar arrangement work, so that even an unskilled person can easily and reliably construct the block. However, the wall built using this method is finished with a noppelled, flat and dull appearance. There was a need for further innovation. Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to eliminate the need for a bonding agent such as mortar, and to enable simple, reliable, and quick construction even by an unskilled person. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for constructing a wall and a block for a wall.

[Function] In order to construct a wall using block 1 of the present invention,
First, first blocks 1 are laid in a column on a concrete foundation. On top of that, the second-stage blocks 1 are set up in a tandem manner.
Instead of being superimposed exactly on the individual blocks 1, the individual blocks 1 are placed relatively slightly shifted in the front-back direction (and the left-right direction) (see FIG. 1). The shift can be arbitrarily determined according to the aesthetic sense of each individual installer. Then, in parallel with this stacking operation, the adjacent blocks 1 and
The two members 1 and 2 are engaged with each other by the engaging member 3 and are positioned in a stacked manner. This operation is very simple. First, of the plurality of engagement grooves 2a provided on the upper surface of each lower block 1, the engagement groove 2a is located at a position where the effect of engagement with the upper block 1 is considered to be the largest. The lower half of the engaging member 3 is dropped into one engaging groove 2a. At that time,
The engaging member 3 is provided so as to straddle between the blocks 1 and 1 adjacent to each other on the left and right. Thereafter, the second-stage block 1 is connected to the engagement member 3 in which a predetermined one of the plurality of engagement grooves 2b provided on the lower surface thereof projects halfway from the upper surface of the first-stage block 1. What is necessary is just to mount so that it may fit. As a result, each of the blocks 1 adjacent vertically and horizontally is engaged with the engaging member 3.
, And are firmly engaged and positioned integrally.
In the following, if the third and higher blocks 1 are stacked in the same manner as described above, the construction work of the lock wall is extremely easy and quick.
And it is surely completed. The front face of the completed bunker is different from the noppelled plane of the conventional method, and it can be finished into a concave and convex surface with a kind of elegant appearance depending on the sense of the installer.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment in which the present invention is applied to an earth retaining wall will be described below with reference to the drawings. The block 1 of this embodiment shown in FIG. 2 is made of concrete and is formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped in which the dimensional ratio of height, width, and height is arbitrarily selected. Although not illustrated, the front side of the block 1 may be subjected to various known decorative processes such as a "split surface".

The flat upper surface 1a and lower surface 1b of the block 1
As shown in the figure, engagement grooves 2a and 2b having a substantially symmetrical shape at the top and bottom at predetermined intervals in the front-rear direction of the block 1.
Are provided in parallel with each other in the left-right direction of the block 1 by a plurality of lines. In this case, the number of grooves is four on each of the upper and lower surfaces, and the intervals between the grooves are the same. Also, the engagement grooves 2a, 2b
The upper surface side engaging groove 2a has a substantially L-shape, and the lower surface side engaging groove 2b has a substantially L-shaped upside-down direction.
A plurality of types of blocks 1 are prepared just like blocks of toys without making the shapes and dimensions uniform (see FIG. 1).

FIG. 3 shows an engaging member 3 for positioning the blocks 1 adjacent to each other vertically and horizontally and for integrally engaging the blocks. The engaging member 3 of this embodiment has a shape similar to a section steel having a U-shaped cross section, and its length dimension is equal to or several times the length of the block 1. The metal engaging member 3 is subjected to rustproofing. As shown in FIG. 1, the dimensions of each part of the cross section of the engaging member 3 are different from those of the plurality of engaging grooves 2a and 2b provided on the respective contact surfaces of the vertically adjacent blocks 1 and 1, respectively. , Each one
With the pair of engagement grooves 2a, 2b brought to the directly facing position,
The dimension of the engaging member 3 is set so that it can be tightly and easily inserted by being straddled between the two grooves 2a and 2b.

FIG. 6 shows an example of the structure of the corner of the fire wall constructed using the block 1C. The vertically adjacent blocks 1C, 1C are stacked so as to be orthogonal to each other as shown in the figure, and so that the respective mortar filling holes 4 communicate vertically. Each mortar filling hole 4 communicated with the mortar is filled with a reinforcing bar E. This ensures that the corners of the fire wall have the necessary structural strength.

In the above configuration, the object of the present invention can be achieved even if the detailed structure is appropriately changed in design. For example,
The cross-sectional shapes of the engagement grooves 2a and 2b are not limited to those illustrated, and may be trapezoidal or other arbitrary shapes. In that case, the cross-sectional shape of the engagement member 3 may be made to correspond to the shape of the engagement grooves 2a and 2b. The arrangement and number of the engagement grooves 2 may be determined according to the size of the block 1.

As is apparent from the above description, various excellent effects can be obtained by employing the method for constructing a fire wall and the fire wall block according to the present invention. (A) Since it is not necessary to use a mortar for connecting the blocks for the fire wall, even an unskilled person can perform the work extremely simply, reliably and quickly. (B) The blocks vertically and horizontally adjacent to each other are integrated by the engaging force of the engaging member with an engaging strength not inferior to that of the conventional bonding mortar. (C) Therefore, even when heavy rain or an earthquake occurs, there is almost no danger that a strong lateral pressure will be applied to the joint wall or the joint wall will sway and the joint wall will collapse even if it is not reinforced with a reinforcing bar. (D) The blocks that make up the bun wall are stacked with their positions slightly shifted in the front-rear direction, so that the front of the bun wall is not a flat, flat surface but a decorative change. It can be formed on a rich uneven surface.
