Need to be filled. Therefore, the construction requires a lot of experience and much labor and time. On the other hand, the pot wall block provided with the engaging projections and grooves does not require mortar filling or bar arrangement work, so that even unskilled persons can easily and surely perform the construction. However, since the urn wall constructed by this method is finished in a dull appearance with a knocked out surface, for example, in places where the appearance is good or bad, such as the earth retaining wall around the premises of a house, it is quite important. , Further improvement was required. Therefore, the object of the present invention is to eliminate the need for a bonding agent such as mortar, and even an unskilled person can easily, surely, and quickly perform the construction, and, depending on the ingenuity of the construction person, it is possible to build up a unique and attractive appearance. A method of constructing a wall and a block for a wall are provided.

[Operation] To build a wall using the block 1 of the present invention,
First, the first-stage blocks 1 are set up in a column on a concrete foundation. On top of that, the blocks 1 of the second stage are set up in a column, but at that time, the blocks 1 of the first stage are simply placed.
Rather than being exactly overlapped on top of each other, the individual blocks 1 are placed in a state in which they are relatively shifted in the front-rear direction (and left-right direction) (see FIG. 1). The amount of shift can be arbitrarily determined according to the aesthetic sense of each installer. Then, in parallel with this stacking work, the adjacent blocks 1,
The work of engaging the ones with each other by the engagement member 3 and performing the stacking positioning is performed. This work is extremely simple. First, among the plurality of engagement grooves 2a provided on the upper surface of each block 1 in the lower stage, the position where the engagement effect with the block 1 in the upper stage is considered to be the largest is located. The lower half portion of the engaging member 3 is dropped into one engaging groove 2a. At that time,
The engagement member 3 is provided so as to straddle between the blocks 1 and 1 that are adjacent to each other on the left and right. After that, the block 1 of the second stage is attached to the engagement member 3 in which a predetermined one of the plurality of engagement grooves 2b provided on the lower surface of the block 1 is half projected to the upper surface of the block 1 of the first stage. Place it so that it fits in. As a result, the blocks 1 adjacent to each other in the vertical and horizontal directions are engaged with the engaging members 3
Are firmly engaged with each other and positioned.
If the blocks 1 of the third stage and above are stacked in the same manner as above, the construction work of the wall is extremely easy and quick,
And surely complete. The front surface of the completed pot wall can be finished with an uneven surface with a kind of dignified aesthetic, depending on the sense of the builder, unlike the flat surface of the conventional construction method.

In parallel with the stacking work of the second stage block or prior to the stacking work, the mutual engagement of the blocks 1B of the first stage and the blocks 1B and 1 of the first stage and the second stage
Assembling work of the engaging member 3 which plays a role of engaging and with each other is performed. This operation is extremely simple. First, of the plurality of engaging grooves 2a on the upper surface 1a of each block 1B of the first stage, the degree of deviation in the front-rear direction between the blocks 1B, 1 of the first and second stages is large. Therefore, one engagement groove 2a that occupies the position where the engagement effect is maximized is selected, and the lower half portion of the engagement member 3 is dropped. At this time, the length of the engaging member 3 is the block 1B.
If the length is shorter than the length, the engaging member 3 is dropped while straddling between the blocks 1B, 1B adjacent to each other on the left and right.

As is apparent from the above description, when the method for constructing a pot wall and the block for a pot wall according to the present invention are adopted, various excellent effects as listed below can be obtained. (A) Since no mortar is used to connect the walls of the wall to each other, even an unskilled person can perform the construction very easily, reliably, and quickly. (B) The blocks adjacent to each other vertically and horizontally are integrated with each other by the engaging force of the engaging members with an engaging strength comparable to that of the conventional adhesive mortar. (C) Therefore, even if it is not purposely reinforced with reinforcing bars, there is almost no possibility that the wall will collapse due to strong lateral pressure or rocking of the wall when a heavy rain or an earthquake occurs. (D) The blocks that make up the pot wall are stacked in a state that they are offset from each other in the front-rear direction, so that the front face of the pot wall is not a uniform flat surface with no knockers, but an excellent change in decorativeness. It can be formed on a rich uneven surface.
