Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は衛生ナプキン、おむつ、失禁ガード又は同類
物の如き吸収性製品に関し、これは不透液性底部層と製
品使用中に使用者の体に面するネット、有孔フィルム又
は不織材料から成る少なくとも一つの透液性頂部層との
間に包被された吸収体から成る。
プラスチックネット又は有孔プラスチックフィルムか
ら成る透液性頂部層は周知である。かかる頂部層の再湿
潤性は良好であり、しかしてその面は乾燥し且つ快適な
感じがする。しかしながら一つの不利な点は、ネット又
はプラスチックフィルムの縁は肌を激しく擦りうるとい
うことである。
本発明の目的は簡単で安価な態様で上記の問題を解決
し、これらの材料の良好な湿潤性を活用し同時に大きい
平滑性と快適性を備える製品を提供することである。こ
のことは本発明によれば、透液性頂部層が製品の縦方向
側部縁のやや内側に終っていること、及び頂部層の縦方
向側部縁が柔軟で肌にやさしい材料、例えば不織材料又
は底部層の折込部分、で覆われ且つこれへ固定されてい
ることにより達成される。柔軟で肌にやさしい材料は頂
部層の材料よりも高級でなくしかして安価な材料から成
る。
頂部層の縁が覆われていることにより、これらの縁は
使用者の肌を擦ることはない。好適実施例によると、頂
部層の縦方向側部縁は柔軟な不織材料のひだに覆われて
おり、この不織材料もまた底部層へ固定されている。こ
れらのひだの縁は側部の漏洩に対し液体バリヤーを形成
する。本発明の他の変形例によると、これらのバリヤー
はひだに置かれる弾性糸又はテープによってより高く作
られる。
本発明の他の変形例によると、柔軟で肌にやさしい材
料も頂部層の内側で吸収体を交差して延び、この材料は
吸収体の外側に延びた部分を有し、これらの部分は底部
層の吸収体を越えて延びる対応部分に結合される。これ
は二重面材料、即ち積層製品を提供する。本発明により
頂部層を側部縁に沿って取り付けることにより、内方頂
部層への付着の必要性を除去又は殆ど除去することを可
能にし、これにより本発明による二重面材料は従来の積
層された二重面材料よりも平滑になる。頂部層の側方固
定により得られる確実な錨止固着は、“層剥離”即ち、
頂部層及びその内側の不織材料が互いに離れる危険性を
も回避する。
本発明は添付図に示される幾つかの例に関してより詳
細に以下に述べられる。図面に於て： 第１図は上から見た図で本発明による衛生ナプキンの
実施例を模式的に示し、第２図は第１図の線II−IIに沿
う断面図を示し、第３図は第１図に於ける衛生ナプキン
の変化側の横断面を示し、第４図は本発明による衛生ナ
プキンの更なる変化例の横断面を示す。
第１図及び第２図は本発明の一実施例による衛生ナプ
キンを示す。この衛生ナプキンは使用中に使用者の体に
面する柔軟な不織材料から成るのが適当な透液性層２
と、不透液性底部層３との間に包被された吸収体１を従
来の態様で含む。層２、３は吸収体を越えて延びた部分
を有し、これらの層はこれらの部分で互いに結合され
る。底部層３は適当なプラスチック材料、即ちポリエチ
レンから成る。吸収体は所謂超吸収体を混合した又は混
合しない毛羽パルプから好ましくは作られる。
吸収体、頂部層及び底部層に他の周知の材料を本発明
の範囲内で使用できることは勿論である。
図示の例によると、ネット又は同類物の形態の透液性
頂部層４は、吸収体１の頂側部、即ち衛生ナプキンの使
用中に使用者に面している吸収体の側部を覆う部分の上
方で不織層２の外側に置かれる。ネット４は非吸収性材
料から作られる。この材料は、少なくとも使用中に使用
者に面する側が親水性であり、液がこの材料を通って流
れることができる。この反応側は可及的に疎水性であ
る。もしネットの開口が十分に大きければ、完全に疎水
性の材料でさえ使用できる。ネットの適当な材料は合成
材料、例えばポリプロピレン又はポリエチレンである。
ネットの代わりに、例えばポリプロピレン又はポリエチ
レンの有孔の偏平又は三次元プラスチックフィルムが使
用できる。この孔は好ましくは0.1ないし３ミリの直径
を有すべきである。外方頂部層４はポリマー繊維、例え
ばポリプロピレン又はポリエチレン（ｄテックス１ない
し10）、に基づく不織材料から形成することもできる。
外方頂部層４がナプキンの側方縁や内側に終っているこ
とにより、材料の節約ができる。
ネット４は内方頂部層のひだ5,6によりその縦方向縁
に沿って不織層２へ固定される。これらのひだはネット
４の縦方向側縁を覆って折り畳まれ、次いで前記縦方向
側縁へ固定されると共に、吸収体１の頂部に接触した内
方頂部層２の部分へ固定される。この固定は第２図に指
示されるように固着物7,8の紐により達成されるが、熱
又は超音波溶接もまた使用できる。これにより、ネット
の縁が使用者の肌に擦られる危険性を除去すると同時に
大変強力なネット４の取り付けが得られる。
第１図及び第２図に示される実施例に於て、吸収体１
の端を越えて延び互いに結合された底部層３及び不織層
２の部分は、吸収体１及びネット４の端縁を覆って折り
畳まれ且つネット及び不織層２の下部分に固定される。
不透液性底部層３が使用者に面する衛生ナプキンの側部
を越えて延びるのを避けるために、底部層３は次のよう
な寸法にできる、即ち内方層２よりも短く且つ折込時に
吸収体１の端縁のみを覆い、一方でより長い不織層２が
ネット４の端縁をも覆うように延びる。不織層２を縦方
向ひだ5,6に類似した横方向ひだで作ることが可能であ
る。ネット４の端縁を覆うために別個の肌にやさしい材
料のテープを使用することもまた可能である。
ネット４が側方縁に沿って不織層２に確実に錨止され
ることにより、簡単な積層材料と比べて比較的に弱い接
着をネットと不織層との間に必要とするだけである。こ
の面の層の平滑性は、一般に二つの層２と４がどれくら
い強い互いに固定されているかに依存しており、それ故
により弱い接着によってより柔軟な面が得られる。
たとえネット４を下方内方頂部層２へ上記の態様で結
合することが好ましいとしても、ひだ5,6の縁が側方漏
洩に対するバリヤーとして作用するのでそれは絶対に必
要と云うわけではない。第３図による実施例に於て、こ
の結果は、弾性糸9,10が伸張状態でひだに置かれた内方
頂部層２へ少なくともその端で固定されていることによ
り増幅される。第３図の左手部分に於て、衛生ナプキン
の製造中、即ち偏平伸張状態に保たれる時のひだ５の形
状が示されており、一方第３図の右手部分は弾性糸10が
衛生ナプキンを収縮し曲線形態に変形できるようになっ
た後のひだ６の形状を示す。第１図及び第２図に示す実
施例よりひだを大きくすることにより比較的高い液バリ
ヤーが作られる。しかしてひだ5,6の大きさは液バリヤ
ーの高さを決める。
ひだ5,6は吸収体１の外側にも配置でき、このこと
は、ひだが弾性糸9,10を備える場合に適切である。この
場合、ネット４は吸収体の外側に僅かに延びる。
第２図及び第３図に示す如く、二重カバー層２及び４
が設けられており、吸収体１と使用者の肌との間の距離
が増加する。この不織層２は空間層として使用し、恐ら
く多孔性にでき再湿潤を減らす。小量の液体がネット開
口に付着するだけであろうし、これは月経液の高い粘性
に起因する衛生ナプキンに特に重要である。この面は視
覚によりまた感触により乾いたものとして感じられる。
第４図で示される実施例による衛生ナプキンは上記の
例のように頂部で二重カバー層を有していない。むし
ろ、この衛生ナプキンに於て、頂部層４の縦方向側方縁
は不織材料２又は他の柔軟材料により覆われているだけ
であり、この材料は上記に対応する態様で底層部３の吸
収体１の外側に延びた部分へ固定されている。不織層２
は第２図及び第３図に対応する態様で頂部層４の縁の回
りに恐らくは折り畳むことができるが、折込部分のちょ
うど手前で終る。他の可能性としては、不織材料２の部
分の上に折り込む代わりに、頂部層４の縦方向側方縁を
覆うために肌にやさしい材料の別個のストリップを使用
することである。他の考えられる変化例としては、底部
層３を折り畳み、その折り込み部分が頂部層４の縦方向
側方縁を覆うことができるようにすることである。かか
る場合、不織材料２は完全に除去される。
本発明は不織材料がナプキン全体の回りに延び、不透
液性底部層３の外側にさえ延びる形式の衛生ナプキンへ
勿論適用できる。かかる場合、衛生ナプキンは吸収体の
外側に延びたカバー層2,3の側方縁を欠く。
たとえ本発明が月経液の粘性、及び湿潤点からの衛生
ナプキンの側方縁への接近により側方漏洩の危険性が強
調される衛生ナプキンに特に適合するとしても、本発明
は失禁ガード及びおむつの如き他の吸収性使い捨て物品
の形態でも有利に活用できる。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】衛生ナプキン、おむつ又は失禁ガード又は
    同類物の如き吸収性製品であって、不透液性底部層
    （３）と、製品の使用中に使用者の体に面し、ネット、
    有孔フィルム又は不織材料からなり且つ製品の縦方向側
    方縁のやや内側に終わる少なくとも一つの透液性頂部層
    （４）との間に包被された吸収体（１）から成る吸収性
    製品において、頂部層（４）の縦方向側方縁が、底部層
    （３）へ固定された柔軟で肌にやさしい材料（２）のひ
    だ（5,6）により覆われ且つこれに固定されていること
    を特徴とする吸収性製品。
  2. 【請求項２】肌にやさしい材料は不織材料である請求項
    １記載の吸収性製品。
  3. 【請求項３】柔軟で肌にやさしい材料（２）は吸収体
    （１）と頂部層（４）との間で吸収体（１）を渡って延
    び、頂部層と共に製品の二重上方カバー層を形成してい
    ることを特徴とする請求項１又は２記載の吸収性製品。
  4. 【請求項４】頂部層（４）は柔軟で肌にやさしい材料
    （２）へ側方縁だけでなく他の方法でもまた結合されて
    いることを特徴とする請求項１乃至３のいずれか一項記
    載の吸収性製品。
  5. 【請求項５】頂部層（４）をネット、有孔フィルム、不
    織層又は合成材料の同類物からなることを特徴とする請
    求項１乃至４のいずれか一項記載の吸収性製品。
  6. 【請求項６】伸張状態の弾性糸（9,10）はひだ（5,6）
    に置かれ且つ柔軟で肌にやさしい材料（２）へ固定さ
    れ、収縮状態の前記弾性糸（9,10）は吸収体１を縦方向
    に湾曲させ、ひだ（5,6）の中央部分を持ち上げ、これ
    により縦方向液体バリヤーを形成することを特徴とする
    第１項ないし第５項のいずれか一項記載の吸収性製品。
