【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、プラスチック被覆
を相応する上型及び下型からなる型部材内で熱エネルギ
ーの作用及び圧力作用により成形した金属コアと接着さ
せることにより、それぞれ成形した金属コアと、両面の
プラスチック被覆とからなる、装甲車両用の弾動グリル
(ballistic grill)のための金属/プラスチック複合
部材を製造する方法に関する。

【従来の技術】例えば欧州特許出願公開第073223
4(A2)号明細書から公知であるように、成形した金
属コア(金属棒)の上側及び下側にプラスチック被覆を
施す(積層)ことにより金属/プラスチック複合部材を
製造する際には、熱可塑性プラスチック及び熱硬化性プ
ラスチックがプラスチック織物層相互の結合層として並
びにまた織物パケットと金属コアとの結合のために使用
される。
【0003】このような加工品を製造するためには、真
空サック法の他にプレス技術も使用される(両者の方法
は原理的には例えば M. Fleming, G. Ziegman, S. Roth

【0004】両者の方法は、角のある部材を接合するた
めには、型部材を上型及び下型として所望の部分形状を
生じるために利用する点で共通している。更に、両者の

に、反応終了後に加工品/型部材の全構造物の熱を冷却

緩く接合された個々の層を成形装置内に固定しかつ該複
合体を完全に被覆する真空サックの真空化により繊維補
助手段を介して圧縮力をかける。この準備段階後に、全
装置を加熱板によるか又は密閉炉室に装入することによ
り加熱する。
【0006】約200℃の最高加工温度を有する加熱サ
イクルの後に、特に熱可塑性プラスチックの場合には、
直接、成形品の安定化に役立つ更に有効圧力下での冷却
サイクルが引き続く。
【0007】プレス技術による部品製造の際には、必要
な圧力をプレス(液圧、空気圧、機械的)により発生さ
せる。後での加工品の個々の層を、非平坦な形状の場合
にはプレス型(上型及び下型)内で固定する。
【0008】該型自体を電気加熱ボードにより又は熱伝
達流体により加熱する。冷却サイクルを実施するために
は、冷却装置を利用する。
【0009】熱伝導及び熱移行の物理的データに基づ
き、上記に引用した両者の方法は比較的長い加熱及び冷
却サイクルで特徴付けられる。このことは単位時間及び
製造装置当たりの比較的少ない加工品処理量を伴う比較
的長い加工時間を意味する。
【0010】ドイツ国特許出願公開第2740071
(A1)号明細書から、自動車の前照灯又はランプの構
成部材を接合する方法が公知である。この場合には、金
属からなる螺旋状結合片を補助部材として及び単に、構
成部材のためにはそれ自体重要でない補助部材として両
部材の縁部間に挿入しかつ加熱し、それによりこの結合
片を第1段階で部材の縁部の軟化したプラスチック内に
侵入させ、結合片の加熱を中断しかつリフレクタ部材も
しくはケーシングのプラスチックが再び固体状態に移行
した後に、これらの部材とフロントカバリングレンズと
を付加的接着層を介して接合させることにより、プラス
チックからなるリフレクタ部材もしくはケーシング部材
とフロントカバリングレンズとをそれらの縁部で互いに
結合させる。しかし、この公知の方法は、本発明が基礎
とした課題の解決手段に関しては何ら言及していない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従って、本発明の課題
は、例えば欧州特許出願公開第0732234(A2)
号明細書に記載されているような、金属コアを有する
平坦な加工品を製造する際に、簡単に積層工程の経済性
を向上させることができる、冒頭に記載した形式の方法
を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題は、冒頭に記載
した形式の方法において、成形した金属コアを調節した
通電により電気的に所定の加工温度に加熱し、その際発
生する熱を金属コアと、該金属コアに結合すべきプラス
チック被覆との間での接着剤の規定された溶融のために
利用することことにより解決される。
【0013】金属コアの直接的加熱により、その熱エネ
ルギーは該金属コアと一般に非導電性かつ好ましくは予
め製造した上方シェル及び下方シェルとの接着(プラス
チックからなる層パケットの相互接着)のために利用さ
れる。
【0014】金属コアの熱エネルギーは、金属コアと上
方シェル及び下方シェルとの間に存在する一般にフィル
ムとして形成された熱可塑性又は熱硬化性接着材料を溶
融させる。この場合、接着フィルムは既に予め製造され
た上方及び下方シェルの構成成分であってもよくかつ本
来のマトリックス材料と同一でもまたそれとは異なって
いてもよい。外部での圧力構成により、好ましくはプレ
スにより、加工品の3つの部材、即ち上方シェル、下方
シェル及び金属コアを相互に形状的及び摩擦力結合させ
ることができる。
【0015】加熱段階の他に、本発明による方法によれ
ば引き続いての工程の冷却段階も従来の技術に比して明
らかに短縮される。従来の技術に相応して公知の前記に
引用した方法では全系、型/全加工品の熱エネルギーを
導出しなければならないが、本発明による方法の場合に
は専ら先に加工温度に加熱された金属コアの熱エネルギ
ーが導出されるべきである。後者は質量の理由から数桁
ほど前者の場合よりも小さいので、それに相応して明ら
かに短縮されたサイクル時間が生じる。
【0016】本発明による方法のもう1つの有利な効果
として、3つの構成部材、即ち上方及び下方シェル並び
に金属コアの間の明らかに減少せしめられた相対運動の
傾向が挙げられ、それにより寸法精度及び製造安全性が
高められる。
【0017】接着作用に不利に影響する金属コアの汚れ
を回避するために、金属コア加熱のためのエネルギー源
として、例えば直接調節される通電(抵抗加熱)又は調
節される高周波加熱(金属コア内での渦電流の発生)の
ような電気的方法を利用するのが有利である。これらの
両者の電気的加熱方式は、接着すべき成分の圧力作用を
加熱段階自体においても可能にする。それにより並列処
理を実現することができる。

【実施例】次に略示図を参照して、本発明による方法を
詳細に説明する。
【0019】図1には、抵抗加熱を用いた方法のための
加熱と同時に圧力を作用させる並列処理の原理が示され
ている。
【0020】上型1.2及び下型1.3からなる型部材
1に、上方シェル2.1、金属コア2.2及び下方シェ
ル2.3からなる積層すべき加工品2を挿入する。金属
コア2.2は山形棒として形成されている。金属2.2
の長さは、その端部4が、電流回路6の接点クランプ
を取り付けることができるように、上方シェル2.1及
び下方シェル2.3から突出している。調節器6.1を
介して、電流回路6を金属コア2.2における所定の時
間/温度曲線に相応して接続する。制御回路の目標値/
実際値比較は、温度センサ6.2により行う。加工物2
の圧縮力作用は、圧縮力7により行う。参照番号2.4
は、フィルム状に形成された接着剤である。
【0021】図2には、誘導加熱を用いた方法のための
加熱と同時の圧力を作用させる並列処理の原理が示され
ている。
【0022】この実施例の場合には、上型1.2及び下
型1.3からなる型部材1に、上方シェル2.1、金属
コア2.2及び下方シェル2.3からなる積層すべき加
工品2を挿入する。参照番号2.4は、フィルム状に形
成された接着剤である。金属コア2.2は山形棒として
形成されている。インダクタ8及び9は、それが完全に
上型1.2及び下型1.3に組み入れられて該方法の必
要な圧縮力7を伝達できるように構成されている。電流
回路6のHF発生器10を調節器6.1を用いてその放
出する出力に関して、所望の時間/温度曲線が生じるよ
うに調節する。金属コア2.2の実際の温度を、温度セ
ンサ6.2より測定しかつ相応する電気量を調節器6.
1に供給する。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 プラスチック被覆を相応する上型及び下
    型からなる型部材内で熱エネルギーの作用及び圧力作用
    により成形した金属コアと接着させることにより、それ
    ぞれ成形した金属コアと、両面のプラスチック被覆とか
    らなる、装甲車両用の弾動グリルのための金属/プラス
    チック複合部材を製造する方法において、成形した金属
    コアを調節した通電により電気的に所定の加工温度に加
    熱し、その際発生する熱を金属コアと、該金属コアに結
    合すべきプラスチック被覆との間での接着剤の規定され
    た溶融のために利用することを特徴とする、金属/プラ
    スチック複合部材の製造方法。
  2. 【請求項2】 金属コアを型部材の内部で加熱する、請
    求項1記載の方法。
  3. 【請求項3】 金属コアをその型部材から横方向に突出
    する端部で電気的結合による抵抗加熱により加熱する、
    請求項1又は2記載の方法。
  4. 【請求項4】 金属コアを型部材に組み入れられたイン
    ダクタによる金属コアの誘導加熱により加熱する、請求
    項1又は2記載の方法。
