2. Description of the Related Art Waste generated during the production of various alcohols, including beer waste, is applied to soil as a source of organic matter for crops in small amounts or used as feed for livestock, but is used in large amounts in industrial applications. It is considered waste and its treatment is subject to strict conditions. The main cause is that when their wastes spoil, they not only produce extremely strong odors but also lead to soil and water pollution.

[0003] The waste generated in the alcohol production process contains a large amount of yeast cells, and is extremely likely to be used as a soil amendment or feed as long as no bacteria enter at the time of discharge. After 5 to 7 days, it rots and emits a very strong odor. Such is a bottleneck in the effective use of alcohol production waste.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems and to stably and long-term use waste generated in the alcohol production process.
As mentioned above, alcohol production waste contains a large amount of effective bacterial cells, but most of them are facultative anaerobic bacteria. It has a tendency to prosper and begin to rot.

[0005] In order to stabilize such properties and prevent them from spoiling, rapid drying or treatment of microorganisms having a bactericidal property is necessary, but a simpler treatment method is desired.

According to the present invention, there is provided a method for treating alcohol-producing waste, wherein the alcohol-producing waste has a pH of 3.0 to 5.0, preferably 3.0 to 4.5, in a closed and air-free atmosphere. It is characterized in that processing is performed until it is stabilized within the range. Examples of the alcohol production waste to be used in the present invention include beer waste, awamori waste, shochu waste, sake waste, and wine waste.

[0007] Such alcohol-producing waste includes, in addition to yeast, bacterium such as acetic acid, citric acid, and lactic acid that has invaded in the process. If the waste containing these bacteria is sealed without passing air through and the carbon dioxide generated is extracted, the amount of organic acid generated will increase, the pH will decrease, and it will be stable within the range of 3.0 to 4.5. become. In the present invention, the processing temperature is preferably 25 to 45 ° C. If the processing temperature is lower than 25 ° C., the efficiency is lowered, and if the processing temperature is higher than 45 ° C., the quality tends to be deteriorated.

[0008] Even if there is infiltration of various germs into the treated material which has become strongly acidic with an organic acid by the treatment method of the present invention, almost all of them are killed, so that they do not rot and can be left standing. It will keep its stability for a long time. Since various effective organic acids are contained in the material subjected to the hermetically sealed and non-ventilated treatment, when applied to soil such as compost and weeds, the physical properties and chemical properties of the soil are significantly improved. In addition, when mixed with livestock feed, it has a good bite and is effective in preventing diarrhea. Thus, the present invention is an epoch-making one that effectively utilizes troublesome alcohol production waste.
