Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、輸液用バッグの新規な製造方法に関する。
〔従来の技術・発明が解決しようとする課題〕
第4図に示すように輸液用バッグBには、輸液取出口
としての開口部10に栓をするために栓取付部である中空
筒体(ポート部)11を開口部10に挿入し、開口部10と筒
体11を熱シール、高周波シールなどによって融着し、筒
体11の上端面に注射針などを差し込むための栓9を取付
けたものがある。
この種のバッグは、例えば第5図に示すように、熱可
塑性プラスチックシート20の開口部に空洞23を有する円
柱状の中空筒体21を融着したものでは、プラスチックシ
ート20の合せ目22の部分がシール不良を起こし易い。す
なわち、合せ目22の部分に隙間(もしくはピンホール)
30が生じ易い。隙間30ができると、バッグ内の輸液が外
に漏洩したり、または隙間30から細菌などの異物が輸液
に混入し、輸液が汚染されたりするので甚だ好ましくな
い。
これを解決するために、第6図に示す如く隙間30を埋
めるよう筒体21に突出部25を設けたもの、第7図に示す
如く筒体21とプラスチックシート20のシール面積を増加
するよう筒体21を楕円形状にしたもの、或いは第8図に
示す如く筒体21を船形に形成し、その側面部27にプラス
チックシートの開口部を溶着シールしたものもあるが、
いずれも却ってシール条件が悪くなり、筒体とプラスチ
ックシートを完全に密着シートすることは困難であり、
シール不良を起こして合せ目22(第8図では側縁28)の
箇所に隙間が生じることがある。従って、これらは上策
とは言い難い。
従って本発明の目的は中空筒体とバッグ開口部とのシ
ールの完全性を高めることができる輸液用バッグの製造
方法を提供することにある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
前記目的は、中空筒体の外層部が容易に変形できる
程度にまで該中空筒体を加熱し、中空筒体を本体の開口
部で包囲し、中空筒体と開口部とを金型で押圧すると共
に、中空筒体の外層部と開口部とを溶着する工程を有す
る製造方法、並びに中空筒体の外周面において中空筒
体を垂直軸方向に二分する対称位置に突出部を設け、突
出部が容易に変形できる程度にまで該突出部を加熱し、
突出部を含む中空筒体を本体の開口部で包囲し、突出部
を含む中空筒体と開口部とを金型で押圧すると共に、突
出部及び中空筒体の外層部と開口部とを溶着する工程を
有する製造方法により達成される。
すなわち、本発明の製造方法は、特に輸液用バッグの
開口部のシール工程において中空筒体と開口部とを密着
シールする前に、上記の方法では筒体の外層部、の
方法では筒体に設けた突出部を容易に変形され得る程度
にまで予備加熱し、外層部または突出部を柔軟にしてか
ら、中空筒体と開口部とを金型で押圧すると共に、両者
を例えば熱、超音波などにより発熱させて相互に溶着す
ることを特徴とする。
本発明の製造方法において、輸液用バッグの本体自体
の製造法には特に制限はなく、常套手段で十分であり、
例えば熱板シール、インパルスシールなどにより中空筒
体を取付ける開口部を確保できる形状(チューブ状、袋
状など)に形成する。
なお、上記の方法においては、予備加熱時に中空筒
体が変形する危険性がある場合には、中空筒体内に筒体
の形状を保持するための補強部材を挿入しておくことが
好ましい。
〔実施例〕
以下、本発明の輸液用バッグの製造方法を実施例に基
づいて説明する。
第1図は本発明の製造方法によって作製した輸液用バ
ッグの開口部を示し、特にその特徴である開口部のシー
ル工程によって密着シールした中空筒体1と本体の開口
部10とを示す。図の実施例では、中空筒体1に突出部3
を設けた前記の方法によるもので、開口部シート10と
突出部3との合せ目5は隙間が生じない程堅固に密着シ
ールされている。なお、中空筒体1には栓9が取付けら
れている。
次に、上記バッグBの製造方法の一例をシール工程を
中心にして第2図(a)〜(c)につき述べる。
まず、袋状に形成された本体を上例の既知方法で作製
する。次に、円柱状中空筒体1の外周面において該筒体
を垂直軸方向に二分する対称位置に設けた円柱状突出部
3を、後の金型成形時に容易に変形され得る程度にまで
遠赤外線ヒータ、熱風ヒータ、オーブンなどによって予
備加熱し、突出部3を軟弱にする〔第2図(a)参
照〕。そして、柔軟状態の突出部3及び中空筒体1の外
周に開口部シート10を当接する〔第2図(b)参照〕。
その後、所定の成形型を有する金型50で中空筒体1と開
口部とを押圧すると共に突出部3を(c)に示す如き形
状に成形しながら、金型50に超音波もしくは熱を加える
ことにより成形突出部3及び中空筒体1の外層部とシー
ト10とを相互に溶着する〔第2図(c)参照〕。シート
10に中空筒体1を取付けた後、筒体1の中空部から所定
量の輸液をバッグB内に注入し、最後に中空筒体1の上
端面に栓9の下端面を熱融着し、筒体1を閉塞すること
により、バッグBが製造される。
このように本発明の製造方法におけるシール工程で
は、共に柔軟状態である突出部3とシート10とをシール
するので筒体1とシート10との合せ目に無理な力が加わ
らず、そのため合せ目におけるシートの厚さも薄くなら
ず、結果として合せ目に隙間やピンホールが生じ難くな
る。
なお、突出部3を金型50で成形した時の形状は図示し
たもの以外であってもよく、例えば第3図(a)に示す
ようなくさび形横断面3′、または(b)の如きひし形
横断面3″に成形しても構わず、その成形型を有する金
型を使用すればよい。
上記実施例では、中空筒体に突出部を設けてある場合
の製造方法の説明であるが、突出部を有しない場合の
製造方法については、前記の方法とほぼ同様に行え
ばよいが、相違点のみを次に述べる。
すなわちの製造方法では、予備加熱するのが中空筒
体の外層部であると共に、予備加熱時に必要に応じて中
空筒体が変形しないように筒体内に補強部材を挿入して
おき、また金型での押圧時に筒体を成形せず、筒体とシ
ートとを密着シールするだけであることが異なる。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明した如く、本発明の輸液用バッグの製造方法
によれば、中空筒体の外層部または中空筒体に設けた突
出部を予備加熱してから、金型によって中空筒体と開口
部とを押圧・加熱して溶着するので、中空筒体と開口部
とを完全に密着シールすることができ、中空筒体と開口
部との合せ目に隙間やピンホールが発生する可能性が皆
無になる。

  1. 【請求項1】本体の開口部に取付けられた中空筒体の外
    周面において中空筒体を垂直軸方向に二分する対称位置
    に、中空筒体との接合部が絞られた突出部が設けられて
    いることを特徴とする輸液用バッグ。
  2. 【請求項2】本体の開口部に取付ける中空筒体の外周面
    において中空筒体を垂直軸方向に二分する対称位置に突
    出部を設け、突出部が容易に変形できる程度にまで該突
    出部を加熱し、突出部を含む中空筒体を本体の開口部で
    包囲し、突出部を含む中空筒体と開口部とを金型で押圧
    すると共に、突出部及び中空筒体の外層部と開口部とを
    溶着する工程を有し、溶着後の突出部が絞られて中空筒
    体と接合していることを特徴とする輸液用バッグの製造
    方法。
