DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to an artificial sand lawn used as a green space such as an athletic stadium such as a golf course or a tennis court or a park.

Conventionally, a synthetic resin such as polyamide, polypropylene or vinylidene chloride has been used for pile yarns of this kind of artificial turf.

However, artificial grass turf pile yarns made from the above materials wear significantly under severe conditions, such as rubbing against the sand being filled or being trampled with spiked shoes, making them weak and insufficiently durable. There was a problem. Also, at the competition ground where this artificial grass was laid,
It is inevitable that the density of the sand is uneven at various places on the ground due to the player's footwork, etc., but in this case, the pile yarn made of the above material has a large wear coefficient compared to the sand, In particular, if the difference in the density of sand is large, the slippage of the ground will vary, and therefore, if the player slides, for example, the skid will slip too much, or conversely, the brake will be applied too much. There was a problem that an unreasonable burden was applied to the legs and hips.

Therefore, in general, high-density polyethylene is said to be usable in the same manner as polypropylene in patent documents, but in practice, the hardness is soft, the resilience to bending is poor, and the heat resistance is inferior, and it is inferior in the processing step. The present inventors dared to pay attention to high-density polyethylene, which was not used at all as a material for this kind of artificial turf, because shrinkage caused by drying heat when backing causes a change in pile size and strength. And, as a result of intensive research over a long period of time, while improving the disadvantages of high-density polyethylene, other physical properties of high-density polyethylene, that is, the coefficient of wear is extremely low and easy to slip,
Due to its molecular structure, the weather resistance is relatively stable, it has no hygroscopicity and can withstand low temperatures, making use of its excellent physical properties that it does not change even when the surrounding environment changes, it is durable and slides It has successfully developed an artificial turf for sandbox which can be manufactured at low cost with little variation in properties.

In the artificial grass for sand putting according to the present invention, a pile yarn to be planted on a base fabric by a tufting machine is formed by a tape yarn made of a high-density polyethylene resin, and the tape yarn is formed into a 40 μm thick yarn.
A feature of the configuration is that the thickness is set to 90 μm.

Because high-density polyethylene is used for the pile yarn,
The coefficient of friction of the pile yarn is small and it is easy to slip, which approximates the slipperiness of sand. In addition, since it is slippery and has a moderate softness, the surface of the pile yarn is not easily scratched by rubbing with sand or spikes.

Further, since the pile yarn is 40μ to 90μ thick,
The weakness of the high-density polyethylene with respect to bending is corrected, so that the pile yarn is given rigidity and retains the resilience.

In FIG. 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a split yarn in which a high-density polyethylene film colored in an edge color is slit and a tape yarn 2 stretched 4 to 8 times is subjected to a split process and a split fiber 3 is provided. The split yarn 1 has a thickness of 50 μm and is formed to 6500 denier. After twisting the split yarn 1 to form a pile yarn 4, the pile yarn 7 is driven into a base cloth 5 using a tufting machine at a pitch of 3.5 mm in the gauge direction and a pitch of 4.4 mm in the stitch direction. The pile yarn 4 was planted at a density of 19 mm. The reason for using split yarns here is that the meshes and settling of the split yarns play a role in preventing the sand filled in the gaps between the pile yarns from flowing out due to rainwater and scattering due to strong winds, and they are very similar to natural grass leaves That's why.

A rubber-based latex 6 is applied to the back surface of the base cloth 5 on which the pile yarns 4 are implanted in order to prevent the pile yarns 4 from slipping out, and is passed through a drying furnace to be dried and fixed, so that sand is put. An artificial lawn 7 was obtained (see FIG. 1). If the pile yarn is sprayed with water in advance in hot air drying in a drying oven, the pile yarn shrinks due to the drying heat of the latex because the cooling effect of water evaporation can prevent the pile yarn from rising in temperature. Almost no dimensional change occurred, and no decrease in strength was observed.

The artificial turf 9 thus obtained was filled with washing sand 8 having an average particle size of 0.77 mm at a rate of about 25 kg / m 2 to produce an artificial turf 9 containing sand (see FIG. 3).

In order to compare the artificial turf with sand produced in the above manner (Example) with the conventional one, polypropylene and polyamide were used for the pile yarn material, and the sand was produced under the same standard and the same conditions as those of the example. While making artificial grass for putting, it was filled with washing sand under the same conditions as the example, respectively, and the thing of the pile yarn of polypropylene was set as Comparative Example 1,
A pile yarn of polyamide was used as Comparative Example 2.

In the above embodiment, the thickness of the split yarn is set to 50μ, but may be from 40μ to 90μ (preferably, from 45μ to 70μ). 40μ
In the case of the following, the restoring property of the pile yarn that has fallen under pressure deteriorates, and the thickness is thin, so that the durability is also poor. When the thickness exceeds 90 μm or more, the processability of the split yarn and the flocking is deteriorated, the retention of the sand is remarkably deteriorated, and the apparent pile flocking amount is reduced, resulting in a poor appearance.

In addition, in addition to the colorant, in order to improve physical properties such as slip property, tear strength, and weather resistance, the split yarn has various additives, such as calcium carbonate, talc, and the like.
Of course, clay, silicon and the like can be blended.

That is, since the pile yarn is formed of high-density polyethylene and its thickness is set to 40 μm to 90 μm, the pile yarn is provided with resilience, so that the sand filling operation and the sand holding force are improved. Since the yarn is slippery and has moderately soft physical properties, the surface of the pile yarn is less likely to be damaged, and in combination with the thicker pile yarn, a product having excellent durability can be provided.

In addition, the high-density polyethylene, which is the material of the pile yarn, has a low coefficient of friction and has a sliding property similar to sand,
There is almost no difference in the slipperiness between the pile yarn and the sand, and therefore, even if a partial deviation occurs in the amount of the filled sand, the burden on the player's feet can be reduced.

Further, high-density polyethylene used as a material for the pile yarn is cheaper than the material price of the conventional pile yarn, and thus has an advantage that an inexpensive product can be provided.
