However, since styrofoam is made from petroleum, which is a finite natural resource, it should be avoided as much as possible to use it as a packaging material, which is discarded as it is for a single transportation purpose. desirable. Also, from the viewpoint of measures to dispose of municipal garbage, which is becoming more and more serious, styrofoam is bulky and expensive to transport, is not suitable for landfill, and if burned, generates high temperatures and damages the incinerator. Given the problem, the emergence of some alternatives is desired. On the other hand, the cardboard pieces are preferably made because they are made of reproducible wood, the recycled paper is easy, and the disposal problem is far less than that of Styrofoam. The work requires a lot of labor and is disadvantageous in cost, and the buffer function is insufficient. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to efficiently and inexpensively make corrugated cardboard as a material, and also have a superior cushioning function as compared with a conventional styrofoam packing and a laminated block body of corrugated cardboard pieces. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a foldable corrugated cardboard packing configured such that the cushioning characteristics of the packing are made different for each part in correspondence with the difference between the parts.

As described above, the packing 201 is folded up. However, if this series of bending operations is described in words, it must be extremely redundant. And it can be folded up reliably.
It is formed on the upper surface of the packing folded up in this way,
A plurality of buffering ribs 40 are in contact with the fitting concave portion that buffers and supports the packaged article 300 over the entire outer surface thereof, and the buffering rib 40 has excellent buffering properties. Since it is made of corrugated cardboard, the packing 201 exhibits a cushioning performance not inferior to that of the conventional packing made of polystyrene.

When a large impact force exceeding an assumed level is applied, the cushioning rib 40, the outer wall surfaces of the packing 201, and the top surface portion provided with the cushioning fold X are buckled and deformed. This excessive impact force is effectively attenuated, and the package article 300 is reliably protected. The buffer rib 40
Since it is formed in the shape of a double wall having a U-shaped cross section, it can withstand a considerable impact force, and its lower end surface is slightly raised from the bottom surface of the packing 201.
The cushioning ribs 40 exhibit a two-stage cushioning function such that the cushioning ribs 40 receive the impacting force after the members 3, 31, and 32 buckle and reduce the impacting force due to the impacting force.
In addition, if the portion of the packing article 300 where the strength is inferior is made to face the hollow portion (see FIG. 5) formed behind the U-shaped cut 12 provided on the side surface 6 of the recess, the portion where the strength is insufficient can be replaced with the recess. The side surface 6 can be sufficiently abutted against the side surface 6.

As is clear from the above description, the folding type cardboard packing according to the present invention has various practical effects as listed below as compared with the conventional styrofoam packing. . (A) Since it can be made only by forming a fold or punching one cardboard, it can be provided at a lower cost. (B) Since storage and transportation can be performed in a compact form developed flat, storage and transportation costs are greatly reduced. (C) Contribute to waste of petroleum resources. (D) resulting from mass disposal of styrofoam;
The problem of garbage disposal can be solved. (E) The position, number, shape, etc., of the buffer ribs are appropriately changed, or the buffer ribs have a double-walled U-shaped cross section, so that the cushioning characteristics of the packing are improved. It can be varied to best suit individual packaging items. (F) Since a stepped portion can be provided at the edge of the fitting recess or the side surface of the recess can be formed as a curved surface, even packing articles having various irregular shapes can be tightly closed in the fitting recess without play. And a sufficiently high buffer effect can be obtained. (G) By making important points on the outer wall surface and the side surface of the concave portion two superposed cardboards, less material is required.
The required pressure resistance can be imparted to the packing.
In addition, compared with the packing made by stacking the conventional cardboard pieces, the cushioning performance is remarkably excellent, and it can be made much more efficiently and inexpensively.
