2. Description of the Related Art A window glass fitted in a window of an automobile is generally kept airtight to prevent rainwater from entering, and is generally covered with a gap formed between the window glass and the window opening to keep its appearance. A flush mount molding (hereinafter simply referred to as a molding) is fixed and covered along the peripheral edge. There are metal and synthetic resin in this mall,
Recently, synthetic resin moldings are often used from the viewpoint of cost and workability. In particular, in a molding used for a front window, a synthetic resin molding integrally provided with a rain gutter has been widely used in order to prevent rainwater received by the window glass from flowing to the side surface of the body. This rain gutter-equipped mall prevents rainwater received on the front window glass from flowing to the side of the body and adhering to the door glass or door mirrors, obstructing the view, only on the left and right side edges of the window glass. A mall without rain gata is used at the upper edge to attract rainwater toward the roof. For this reason, when mounting a mall with a rain gutter, generally, the left and right side edges and the upper edge are separated and the corner pieces are inserted into the corners where their end faces collide with each other to connect the malls with different cross sections. The format is adopted. However, according to this method, workability is poor, there is a problem that the external appearance is deteriorated due to connection, and there is a drawback that the cost becomes high. Therefore, it is not possible to use a long molding in which the left and right side edges and the upper edge are integrated. Being tried. However, a sufficient product has not been obtained yet. The first problem is that in the case of a synthetic resin molding, the extrusion molding method is used, so that the cross-sectional shape is uniform over the entire length, and it is difficult to change to an irregular cross-sectional shape in the middle of the length.
The problem of (1) is that the rain gutter part is exposed to the outside, and there is a problem of impairing the external appearance when a process such as cutting off at the upper edge part that does not need this is impaired.

7 and 8, the two locking pieces 4 and 6 for locking the window glass 9 at the corners 15 and 16 are cut away from the base to flatten one surface of the leg 3. It shows another embodiment in which the locking claw piece 24 formed separately is fixed. In this embodiment, the left and right parts 1
When the third locking piece 6 that engages with the edge of the window glass from 2 and 13 to the central portion 14 changes from the third locking piece 6 to the first locking piece 4, it is taken to avoid a disengaged state. There are two processing methods. The locking claw piece 24 has a main body formed in the shape of a strip plate, and the locking claw 25 is bulged over the entire length along one side edge of one surface of the locking claw piece 24. The leg 6 is cut by removing the 6 to fit the one surface of the leg portion, and the engaging protrusion 26 protruding on the other surface of the main body is fitted into the engaging hole 27 provided in the leg portion 3 in advance. It is designed to be attached integrally to the part. Here, although the method of fixing to the leg portion by the locking projection is used here, it is needless to say that it may be fixed by an adhesive agent.

In this locking claw piece 24, the above-mentioned locking claw 25 is arranged in parallel with the inclined side 17 of the draining piece 8, one end being on the first locking side 4 and the other end being on the third locking piece 6. There is an interval between the locking claw and the inclined side 17 for each connection so that the peripheral edge of the window glass 9 can be bitten. Therefore, at the time of mounting, the third locking pieces 6 are hooked on the edges of the window glass at the left and right portions, and the locking claw pieces 24 at the corners.
The first locking piece 4 can be hooked on the edge of the window glass in the central portion 14 and can be engaged with the edge of the window glass over the entire length of the molding 1. It is designed to be worn.

The present invention has been described in detail with reference to the embodiments.
As is apparent from the above-mentioned configuration, according to the present invention, the left and right portions 12 along the three sides of the left and right side edge portions and the upper edge portion of the window glass,
Since 13 and the central portion 14 are integrally molded, they can be easily attached to the peripheral edge of the window glass and are excellent in workability. At the left and right portions 12 and 13, the draining piece 8 hanging from the head 2 is on the surface of the window glass. Since the rain gutter is erected to the left and right and the rain water is guided to the roof through the central portion 14 which is flat in the upper part, it is possible to effectively prevent the rain water adhering to the front surface of the window glass from flowing in the lateral direction of the automobile. it can. Further, in the flush mount molding according to the present invention, the draining piece 8 hung from one side edge of the head portion 2 in each of the left and right portions 12, 13 has a corner portion 15,
16 is gradually reduced, and the head portion 2 is flattened in the central portion 14 so as to extend between the surface of the window glass 9 and the surface portion 11 of the window opening 10. It has the advantage of being much more beautiful than the conventional connection method. In particular, the draining piece 8 in the present invention is hung vertically from one side edge of the head 2, and the reduction in the corner portions 15 and 16 gradually reduces the height, so that there is no discomfort. Does not spoil the appearance. Further, in the molding according to the present invention, the leg portion 3, which is partially cut off in the middle of the height in the central portion 14, is hidden by the head portion 2 and therefore is not visible. Therefore, even if the cut surfaces are uneven due to the post-treatment, the appearance is not visible. There is no loss. Of course, in the molding according to the present invention, the central portion 1 in which part of the legs is cut off
4, the first locking piece 4 and the second locking piece 5 are respectively locked to the peripheral edge portion of the window glass and the standing wall surface 19, and in the left and right portions 12 and 13, the second, third and third locking pieces 4 and 5, respectively. 4 locking piece 5,
Since 6 and 7 are also locked to the window glass 9 and the standing wall surface 19 to maintain the mounted state, they are mounted in a stable state, and in these cases, by the first locking piece 4 and the lower surface of the head 2. Further, since the lower edges of the third locking piece 6 and the water draining piece 8 bite and closely contact the peripheral edge portions of the window glass 9, respectively, there is no gap between the molding and the surface of the window glass, which is reliable. There is an advantage that various wearing states can be obtained. Furthermore, the molding of the present invention is one in which the left and right parts and the central part are integrated, and is manufactured by extrusion molding, so it is suitable for mass production and is advantageous in reducing the cost.
