Abstract
Description
本願は、2020年11月06日付の大韓民国特許出願第10-2020-0147669号及び2021年10月25日付の大韓民国特許出願第10-2021-0142441号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該大韓民国特許出願の文献に開示されたあらゆる内容は、本明細書の一部として含まれる。
電池ケース内に電極組立体が収納部に装着され、電池ケースの外周辺が熱融着によって密封された構造のシーリング部を含む電池セルを製造した。ここで、電極組立体に含まれた電極タブは、電極リードと電気的に連結されており、電極リードは、シーリング部を経由して電池ケースの外側方向に突出している。この際、電極リードの上部でシーリング部と対応する位置にリードフィルムが付着されており、リードフィルム内に電池ケースの内部から電池ケースの外側方向に延びたガス排出部が形成されている。
リードフィルム内に別途のガス排出部が形成されていない点を除いては、実施例と同様に電池セルが製造された。
実施例の電池セルについて、リードフィルム及び電極リードが位置したシーリング部を中心にCT撮影して、当該部分に対するCT撮影イメージを図9のように獲得した。
実施例及び比較例の電池セルについて、経時的な電池セルの内部のガス圧力を測定し、その結果を図10のように示した。実施例の電池セルで、電池セルの初期内部圧力は、1気圧である。

Claims (13)
- 電極組立体が収納部に装着され、外周辺が熱融着によって密封された構造のシーリング部を含む電池ケースと、
前記電極組立体に含まれた電極タブと電気的に連結され、前記シーリング部を経由して、前記電池ケースの外側方向に突出している電極リードと、
前記電極リードの上部及び下部のうち少なくとも一方において、前記シーリング部に対応する部分に位置するリードフィルムと、を含み、
前記リードフィルムは、前記電池ケースの内部から前記電池ケースの外側方向に延びたガス排出部が形成されており、
前記ガス排出部は、前記電池ケースの内部に向けて開放されている、電池セル。 - 前記電極リードの突出方向を基準に、前記ガス排出部の前面及び両側面は閉鎖されている、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記ガス排出部の表面のうち少なくとも一部を覆う内部層をさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載の電池セル。
- 前記内部層を成す素材は、前記リードフィルムを成す素材に比べて、融点が高く、電解液に反応しない、請求項3に記載の電池セル。
- 前記リードフィルムは、ポリオレフィン系の物質を含み、
前記内部層は、ポリオレフィン系、フッ素系、及び多孔性セラミック系のうち少なくとも1つの物質を含む、請求項3または4に記載の電池セル。 - 前記リードフィルムは、前記電極リードよりも広い幅を有する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の電池セル。
- 前記リードフィルムは、前記シーリング部の長さよりも大きな長さを有し、前記電極リードの長さよりも小さな長さを有する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の電池セル。
- 前記ガス排出部は、前記電極リードよりも広い幅を有する、請求項6に記載の電池セル。
- 前記リードフィルムは、第1リードフィルム及び第2リードフィルムを含み、
前記第1リードフィルムは、前記電極リードの上部に位置し、
前記第2リードフィルムは、前記電極リードの下部に位置する、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の電池セル。 - 前記電極リードは、前記第1リードフィルムと前記第2リードフィルムとの間に位置し、前記第1リードフィルムと前記第2リードフィルムは、互いに連結されている、請求項9に記載の電池セル。
- 前記リードフィルム内に形成されている前記ガス排出部の端部は、前記電池ケースの外側面よりも外側に位置する、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースの内部に向けて開放されている前記ガス排出部の端部は、前記電池ケースの内側面よりも内側に位置する、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の電池セルを含む、電池モジュール。
