Abstract
Description
本発明は、ポンプに関する。ポンプは、医療用途のために作製されており、心肺バイパス血液灌流システムまたは体外式膜型人工肺システムの一部として使用するために、あるいは重要臓器における酸素欠乏の治療処置において使用するために血流を提供するように配置されている。さらに、ポンプは、人工心臓として機能するように配置することができる。ポンプは、たとえば、予め規定された量の流体または半固体材料を、所望の充填プロフィールで容器内に調量するようにプログラミングすることができる産業用途において、より広い用途を有すると考えられる。
手術において使用される心臓ポンプは、従来、蠕動ポンプおよび遠心ポンプの2つのタイプに分類することができる。両タイプのポンプは、適切な圧力にて血液の一貫した流れを供給するように配置することができ、その際にポンプは、流量または圧力要求における変化を補償するために調節可能である。
本発明の第1の実施形態であるポンプ10が、図1および図2に示されている。ポンプ10は、チューブ12を通して流体(概念的に血液)を押し流すように配置されている。この実施形態では、チューブ12は、19mmの内径を有する白金コーティングされたシリコーンチューブから形成されている。本用途のためには、6mm~25mmの内径を有する生体適合性チューブが適していると考えられる。
a)カニューレにおける生理的流れのPSVおよび圧力が、単一のアクセスポイントに対して大幅に低下させられて、真の生理的流れを実施することが可能になる。
b)より多くの酸素化された血液を、脳および胸腔内の臓器に送ることができ、これにより、開心術の際に、重要臓器への酸素化された血液の十分な供給が確保され、これにより、損傷および臓器不全を阻止することができる。
c)分散された灌流を伴うより安全な灌流により、より複雑な臨床疾患を治すことを外科医にとって可能にする、より長い手術時間を可能にすることができる。
Claims (16)
- 可撓性のチューブから形成された流体管路を有するポンプであって、該ポンプが、アクチュエータを有しており、該アクチュエータが、第1の位置と第2の位置との間で運動するように配置された作動部材を有しており、該作動部材が、前記第2の位置にあるときに、前記流体管路を少なくとも部分的に閉塞するようになっており、前記アクチュエータが、前記流体管路に対して略垂直な方向に運動するように配置されており、前記ポンプは、前記アクチュエータが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置へと運動したときに、前記ポンプが前記流体管路内の流体を流体出口に向かって蠕動式に押し出すように作用するように運転可能である、ポンプ。
- 前記アクチュエータが、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間で線形に運動する作動部材を有するリニアアクチュエータである、請求項1に記載のポンプ。
- 前記アクチュエータが、前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間で旋回軸線を中心として旋回するように配置された作動部材を有する旋回アクチュエータである、請求項1に記載のポンプ。
- 前記旋回軸線が、前記流体管路の方向に対して平行である、請求項3に記載のポンプ。
- 前記ポンプが、流体流の所望のパラメータを制御するように配置された制御手段を有している、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ。
- 制御可能なパラメータの1つが、一回拍出量である、請求項5に記載のポンプ。
- 制御可能なパラメータの1つが、脈拍数である、請求項5または請求項6に記載のポンプ。
- 制御可能なパラメータの1つが、収縮期対拡張期の比である、請求項5から請求項7のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ。
- 制御可能なパラメータの1つが、前記作動部材の加速度である、請求項5から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ。
- 制御可能なパラメータの1つが、所望の血行力学的な余剰エネルギである、請求項5に記載のポンプ。
- 前記第1の位置は、前記流体管路が閉塞されていないように、前記流体管路を解放している、請求項1から請求項10のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ。
- 前記第1の位置が、前記流体管路の部分的な閉塞を表し、前記第2の位置が、前記流体管路のより大きな閉塞を表す、請求項1から請求項10のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ。
- 前記ポンプが、前記流体管路の入口端部に配置された逆止弁を含む、請求項1から請求項12のいずれか一項に記載のポンプ。
- 損傷した脳細胞の回復を支援するか、または椎骨脳底動脈循環不全の治療選択肢を提供すべく、脳細胞により多くの灌流を提供するために、患者の生理的血流に脈拍を同期させるためのプログラミング可能なポンプを用いて、下肢からの酸素化された血液の一部を分流することによって、処置を必要とする対象における脳損傷、認知症または脳卒中を処置する方法。
- 損傷した臓器の回復を支援すべく、患者の生理的血流に脈拍を同期させるためのプログラミング可能なポンプを用いて、大腿動脈のような下肢からの酸素化された血液を、癌治療/化学療法を受けた損傷した臓器の動脈に分流することによって、癌患者を処置する方法。
- 酸素化された血液の適切な生理的流れを、創傷部位の近傍の創傷組織に供給するために、患者の心電図パルスに同期させられるプログラミング可能なポンプを用いて、慢性創傷を処置する方法。
