Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a hair treatment agent that can suppress curl while repairing damage to damaged curly hair or spreading damaged hair. The present invention also relates to a hair treatment method that can suppress curl while repairing hair damage by using the hair treatment agent.
In general hair straightening, curls can be suppressed and lengthened by the action of a reducing agent and an oxidizing agent, which are the main ingredients, and mechanical treatment at high temperatures. Specifically, a first agent containing a reducing agent such as thioglycolic acid or its salt, cysteamine or its salt, and an alkaline agent such as aqueous ammonia, monoethanolamine, ammonium hydrogen carbonate, or arginine is applied to the hair. After reducing and cleaving the disulfide bonds present in keratin protein, the process is washed with water, dried with a hair dryer, etc., and stretched into a straight shape by mechanical treatment with an iron at approximately 180°C, and then treated with hydrogen peroxide or sodium bromate. The hair is treated with a second agent whose main ingredient is an oxidizing agent such as oxidizing agent, etc., to oxidize and re-form the disulfide groups, thereby fixing the hair in a straight shape.
However, although hair straightening can suppress curls and lengthen them, the first agent, which is alkaline, causes the hair to swell and soften, causing damage to the hair.
As a hair treatment agent that does not contain a reducing agent, a method using glyoxylic acid or levulinic acid as a hair straightening ingredient has been proposed. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a method of applying a solution containing glyoxylic acid to hair, leaving it to dry, and then straightening the hair by mechanical treatment at high temperature with a hair straightening iron. . This method can semi-permanently suppress curls and lengthen hair while minimizing damage to the hair, but damage to the hair cannot be repaired. Further, Patent Document 2 discloses that pH 2.0 to 3 contains 2.5 to 20% by mass of glyoxylic acid and 0.1 to 10% by mass of one or more selected from gluconolactone and erucalactone. .8 hair treatment agents are disclosed. Although this hair treatment agent can suppress and lengthen curls and has an excellent feel when used, it cannot repair damaged hair. Further, Patent Document 3 discloses that the composition contains 10 to 25% by mass of glyoxylic acid and 45% by mass or more of polyhydric alcohol, and the total content of glyoxylic acid and polyhydric alcohol is 65% by mass or more, A method is disclosed in which a solution having a pH of 1.0 to 3.0 is applied to the hair and left to stand, followed by washing, drying, and straightening the hair. Although this method can suppress curls and lengthen hair while minimizing damage to the hair, damage to the hair cannot be repaired. Further, Patent Document 4 discloses that the composition contains 13 to 30% by mass of levulinic acid and 1 to 2% by mass of glyoxylic acid, the total content of levulinic acid and glyoxylic acid is 15% by mass or more, and the pH is A method is disclosed in which a solution of 1.5 to 3.0 is applied to the hair and left to stand, followed by washing with water, drying the hair, and straightening the hair. Although this method can suppress curls and lengthen hair while minimizing damage to the hair, damage to the hair cannot be repaired.
The present invention has been made in view of the drawbacks of the prior art, and provides a hair treatment agent capable of suppressing curly hair while repairing damage to damaged curly hair or spreading damaged hair.
