Description

The present invention relates to a composition for external use on the skin that is applied to the fingers and torso to suppress moisture evaporation and moisturize the skin.

Conventionally, in order to prevent skin dryness, various skin external compositions have been known that are applied to the body, such as fingers, hands, arms, feet, legs, and trunk, to moisturize the body. However, in general, some compositions contain cyclic silicone to give a smooth feel without stickiness after application, but they are difficult to wash off because they are not compatible with both oil and water, and recently silicone It has been difficult to incorporate silicone-based compounds into products because consumers tend to choose non-silicone products that do not contain silicone-based compounds.

In order to solve this problem of stickiness, for example, Patent Document 1 discloses a method that does not contain a silicone compound but contains a hydrocarbon such as vaseline having a predetermined melting point, and a granular agent, and which is used for fingers, hands, arms, etc. describes a composition for external use on the skin that can provide a non-sticky and smooth texture after being applied to the body, such as the feet, legs, and trunk. It is also disclosed that the composition for external use on the skin provides a non-sticky and smooth texture when applied to the skin even without containing a silicone compound.

However, in the invention of Patent Document 1, even if a smooth texture can be imparted after application without containing a silicone-based compound, it only contains a hydrocarbon such as vaseline having a predetermined melting point and a granular agent. Particularly in cold seasons such as winter when the temperature is low, it becomes hard and difficult to spread when applied to the body such as fingers, hands, arms, feet, legs, and trunk, which is a problem in use.

Therefore, the present invention does not contain silicone compounds and is easy to spread when applied to the body such as fingers, hands, arms, feet, legs, and trunk even in the cold season when the temperature is low. To provide a composition for external use on the skin, which is not sticky when applied to the body and can impart a smooth texture even in the hot season when the temperature is high.

[1] That is, the present invention comprises 40 to 60% by weight of a first hydrocarbon having a melting point of 30 to 60°C, 35 to 50% by weight of cornstarch dispersed in the first hydrocarbon, and 37.8% by weight of cornstarch dispersed in the first hydrocarbon. This is a composition for external use on the skin, characterized in that it contains 5 to 25% by weight of a second hydrocarbon having a kinematic viscosity of 10 to 80 mm 2 /sec at °C.

[2] The skin external composition according to [1] above, wherein the cornstarch has a particle size of 1 to 50 μm.

[3] The skin external composition according to [1] or [2] above, wherein the second hydrocarbon is liquid paraffin.

According to the present invention, it does not contain silicone-based compounds and is easy to spread when applied to the body such as fingers, hands, arms, feet, legs, and trunk even in cold seasons when the temperature is low. Even in the hot season when the temperature is high, when applied to the body, it is not sticky and can give a similar smooth touch.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the skin external composition of the present invention will be described in detail. In addition, when there is a notation "~" indicating a range in the description, it includes an upper limit and a lower limit.

The first hydrocarbon in the present invention is a compound having a melting point of 30 to 60° C., and is a semi-solid compound that maintains a solid state or shape at room temperature and deforms when force is applied. The first hydrocarbon enhances skin moisturization, and furthermore, prevents the particulate agent from settling in a short period of time and allows the particulate agent to be uniformly dispersed over a relatively long period of time.

Specifically, the first hydrocarbon is preferably a hydrocarbon consisting of a straight chain hydrocarbon such as vaseline or solid paraffin, a branched chain-containing hydrocarbon, or an alicyclic hydrocarbon. These first hydrocarbons can be used alone or in combination of two or more.

The content of the first hydrocarbon in the skin external composition is preferably 40 to 60% by weight, more preferably 40 to 50% by weight. When the content ratio of the first hydrocarbon is within the above range, when the composition for external use on the skin is applied to the skin, evaporation of water from the skin can be suppressed and the moisturizing effect can be enhanced.

The corn starch in the present invention is a starch produced from corn as a raw material, and is a granular member dispersed in a first hydrocarbon and a second hydrocarbon. Cornstarch can suppress stickiness and shine when the external skin composition is applied to the skin.

The cornstarch preferably has a particle size of 1 to 50 μm, more preferably 2 to 35 μm. When the particle size of the corn starch is within the above range, it is possible to impart a non-sticky and smooth texture when the external skin composition is applied to the skin, and it is possible to suppress the reflection of light caused by the primary hydrocarbon and prevent shine. can. Note that the particle size is measured using an optical microscope.

The content of cornstarch in the skin external composition is preferably 35 to 50% by weight, more preferably 40 to 45% by weight. When the content ratio of the corn starch is within the above range, the composition for external use on the skin can be applied to the skin to provide a smooth and non-sticky texture, and can suppress the reflection of light caused by the primary hydrocarbon and prevent shine. It also makes it easier to spread the composition for external use on the skin when applying it.

The second hydrocarbon in the present invention has a kinematic viscosity of 10 to 80 mm 2 /sec at 37.8° C. and is a compound that is liquid at room temperature. By uniformly dispersing the secondary hydrocarbon in the composition for external use on the skin, the hardness of the composition for external use on the skin can be softened, and the hardness of the composition for external use on the skin can be softened. Even at times, it is easy to spread when applied to the body such as fingers, hands, arms, feet, legs, and trunk, and even during hot seasons such as summer when the temperature is high, for example, the average temperature in August in Tokyo. Even when the temperature is 30°C, which is higher than about 27°C, it is not sticky when applied to the body and can provide a similar smooth touch. If the kinematic viscosity of the second hydrocarbon is less than the above range, the hardness of the composition for external use on the skin will be too soft, resulting in a sticky feeling after being applied to the body, making it difficult to impart a smooth texture in the first place. If the above-mentioned kinematic viscosity exceeds the above-mentioned range, the composition for external use on the skin will be too hard and difficult to spread when applied to the body in cold weather. Note that the kinematic viscosity is measured by the method specified in JIS K 2283, Japanese Pharmacopoeia, and the like.

The content of the second hydrocarbon in the skin external composition is preferably 5 to 25% by weight, more preferably 10 to 20% by weight. When the content ratio of the second hydrocarbon is within the above range, in combination with the above kinematic viscosity of the second hydrocarbon, fingers, hands, arms, and feet will be stable even in the cold season of winter and the hot season of summer. It is possible to produce a composition for external use on the skin that is easy to spread when applied to the body, such as the legs and trunk, provides a smooth texture without stickiness, and is not significantly affected by temperature differences.

A skin external composition was prepared in the same manner. Note that the type of liquid paraffin was different from that in Example 1.

Regarding the appearance, physical properties, and feeling of use of the skin external composition prepared as described above, visual confirmation of stability, measurement of change in skin friction value, sensory evaluation of ease of spreading after storage at 5°C and 30°C, and 5°C And a sensory evaluation of stickiness after storage at 30°C was performed.

[Storage stability]
The prepared composition for external use on the skin was placed in a 50 ml screw tube and stored at 30° C. for 1 day, and its condition was visually confirmed. A state in which no separation of liquid paraffin was observed was classified as ○, and a state in which separation of liquid paraffin was observed at least partially was classified as ×, with a rating of “〇” being favorable and a rating of “×” being unfavorable. .

[Change in skin friction value]
Skin friction force is used as an index to evaluate the elongation of a preparation, and it is generally said that the higher the value (higher skin friction), the worse the elongation, and the lower the value (lower skin friction), the better the elongation. The effect of temperature on the elongation of the prepared composition for external use on the skin was objectively evaluated by comparing the measured values at a low temperature (5°C) assuming winter and a high temperature (30°C) assuming summer. Specifically, the prepared composition for external use on the skin was applied to a stainless steel Petri dish in an amount of about 0.2 g/0.8 cm 2 , and the Petri dishes were stored in constant temperature baths at 5° C. and 30° C. for about 3 hours, respectively. Thereafter, the skin friction force at each storage temperature was immediately measured using a skin tribometer (manufactured by Courage + Khazaka, Frictiometer FR700) after removing the specimen from the constant temperature bath.
As shown in the formula below, the change in skin friction value was calculated by subtracting the measured value after storage at 30°C from the measured value after storage at 5°C.
(Change in skin friction value) = (Skin friction value after storage at 5℃) - (Skin friction value after storage at 30℃)
The smaller the change in this skin friction value, the more it stretches in winter and summer, and skin external compositions with a value of 150 or less were judged to be good. This evaluation correlates with the sensory evaluation of ease of stretching, which will be described later, and is appropriate.

[Ease of stretching]
As mentioned above, sensory evaluation was performed on the ease of stretching after storage at 5°C and 30°C. Specifically, 5 expert panelists stored the prepared skin external composition in a constant temperature bath at 5℃ or 30℃ for more than one day, and after the temperature reached each temperature, they removed the composition from the constant temperature bath in an environment of 23℃. Immediately after taking out the product, 0.2 g was applied to the forearm, and the ease of spreading was evaluated on a five-point scale from 1 to 5 points, and the score was evaluated. When evaluating the ease of spreading of the prepared composition for external use on the skin, the evaluation criteria were: Very easy to spread: 5 points, Feeling: 4 points, Slightly feeling: 3 points, Not feeling it very much: 2 points, Not feeling it. : 1 point, ○ if the average score of each panelist is 3.5 or more, △ if the average score is 2.0 or more and less than 3.5, and × if the average score is less than 2.0. It was evaluated as preferable, and “△” evaluation and “x” evaluation as unfavorable.

[Sticky]
As mentioned above, a sensory evaluation of stickiness after storage at 5°C and 30°C was performed. Specifically, in the same way as the spreadability evaluation, five expert panelists stored the prepared skin external compositions in a constant temperature bath at 5°C or 30°C for more than one day, and then evaluated the compositions at the respective temperatures. When 0.2 g of the product was applied to the forearm immediately after being taken out of the thermostatic bath in a 23°C environment, the stickiness was evaluated on a 5-point scale from 1 to 5 points and scored. When evaluating the stickiness of the prepared composition for external use on the skin, the evaluation criteria were: not feeling it: 5 points, not feeling it very much: 4 points, feeling it a little: 3 points, feeling it: 2 points, feeling it very much: 1 point, and each Panelists' average score of 3.5 or more is classified as ○, average score of 2.0 or more but less than 3.5 is classified as △, and average score of less than 2.0 is classified as ×. "〇" rating is preferable, "△" rating and "×" evaluations were evaluated as unfavorable.

Table 1 shows the results regarding storage stability, change in skin friction value, ease of spreading, and stickiness for Examples 1 to 10 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5. Regarding the sensory evaluation, the evaluation scores were also recorded. Note that for Comparative Examples 3 to 5, the storage stability was not favorable, so other evaluations were not performed.

As shown in Table 1, a composition made by uniformly mixing specified petrolatum, cornstarch, and liquid paraffin in a specific range of blending ratios can maintain a uniform state for a specified period of time, and can maintain a uniform state at 5°C and 30°C. It has the same ease of spreading even under the temperature difference between winter and summer (℃), and when it is stored at 5℃ and 30℃ and applied to the skin, it spreads just as easily and has a smooth texture without stickiness. I found out that it can be granted.
