Abstract
Description

微生物を含む微生物学的プロセスによりバイオマスからムコン酸を製造し、次いでこのムコン酸をテレフタル酸に導くこと;又は
柑橘系果実及び/又は木本植物であるバイオベース材料からリモネンを抽出すること、このリモネンを少なくとも1つのテルペンに変換すること、又はレモンなどのバイオベース材料からテルペンを抽出すること、続いてテルペンをパラ-シメンに変換し、このパラ-シメンを酸化してテレフタル酸にすること;又は
コーンシロップ及び/又は糖類及び/又はセルロースであるバイオベース材料からヒドロキシメチルフルフラールを抽出し、このヒドロキシメチルフルフラールを2段階プロセスでヒドロキシメチルベンズアルデヒドに変換し、このヒドロキシメチルベンズアルデヒドを酸化してテレフタル酸にすること;又は
バイオマスをフルクトース及び/又はスクロースを含む糖に変換し、この糖を5-ヒドロキシメチルフルフラールに変換し、この5-ヒドロキシエチルフルフラールを2,5-フランジカルボキシレートに酸化し、これを溶媒の存在下でエチレン(バイオ材料から得られる)と反応させて二環式エーテルを製造し、これを更に脱水してテレフタル酸にすること;又は
バイオマスをフルクトース及び/又はグルコースを含む糖に変換し、この糖を5-ヒドロキシメチルフルフラールに変換し、この5-ヒドロキシエチルフルフラールを2,5-ジメチルフランに水素化し、それを環化付加反応条件下及び触媒の存在下で反応させてパラキシレンを製造し、このパラキシレンを酸素で酸化してテレフタル酸にすること;又は
バイオ材料(例えば、サトウキビ、トウモロコシ、木質バイオマスなど)から合成ガスを得て、これを更にパラキシレンに変換し、パラキシレンを酸化してテレフタル酸にすること;又は
発酵によってバイオマスからイソブタノールを得て、イソブタノールをイソブテンに変換し、イソブテンをオリゴマー化によりイソオクタンに変換し、パラキシレンをテレフタル酸に変換すること;
によって得ることができる。
バイオベース材料から合成ガスを得て、これを更にエタノールに変換し、エタノールを脱水してエチレンにし、エチレンを酸化してエチレンオキシドにし、エチレンオキシドをエチレングリコールに変換すること;又は
少なくとも1つのバイオベース材料からの糖又は誘導体からエチレングリコール及び少なくとも1つの他のグリコール(例えば、エチレングリコールを除くブタンジオール、プロパンジオール及びグリセロールなど)を含む混合物を得て、この混合物からエチレングリコールを分離し、可能な限りこの工程を繰り返してより高い収率のエチレングリコールを得ること;
によって得ることができる。
Claims (10)
- 少なくとも1つのバイオベース材料から得られる少なくとも1つのテレフタレート化合物と、少なくとも1つのバイオベース材料から得られる少なくとも1つのモノエチレングリコール化合物と、からバイオベースポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)ポリマーを製造する方法であって、
少なくとも1つの結晶化遅延化合物の存在下で、前記テレフタレート化合物と前記モノエチレングリコール化合物とを重合することを含み、
前記結晶化遅延化合物は、少なくとも1つのバイオベース材料から得られることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記結晶化遅延化合物が、イソソルビド、1,3-プロパンジオール、1,4-ブタンジオール、2,3-ブタンジオール、1,3-ペンタンジオール、1,4-ペンタンジオール、1,5-ペンタンジオール、2-メチル-1,4-ブタンジオール(2-MBDO)、ジエチレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、カテコール、2,5-ジヒドロキシメチルテトラヒドロフラン、2,5-ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)フラン、フマル酸、グルタル酸、ムコン酸、イタコン酸、コハク酸、アジピン酸、リンゴ酸、2,5-フランジカルボン酸及びp,p’-ビフェニルジカルボン酸、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記結晶化遅延化合物が、1,3-ペンタンジオール、1,4-ペンタンジオール、カテコール、2,5-ジヒドロキシメチルテトラヒドロフラン、2,5-ビス(ヒドロキシメチル)フラン、フマル酸、ムコン酸、イタコン酸、リンゴ酸、2,5-フランジカルボン酸及びp,p’-ビフェニルジカルボン酸、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記結晶化遅延化合物が、イソソルビド、1,3-プロパンジオール、1,4-ブタンジオール、2,3-ブタンジオール、1,3-ペンタンジオール、1,4-ペンタンジオール、1,5-ペンタンジオール、ジエチレングリコール、2,5-フランジカルボン酸及びp,p’-ビフェニルジカルボン酸、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記結晶化遅延化合物が、イソソルビド、2,5-フランジカルボン酸、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記結晶化遅延化合物が、前記バイオベースPETポリマーに対して0.05~7%モル、好ましくは0.1~4%モルの量である、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオベース結晶化遅延化合物をもたらす前記バイオベース材料が、糖類、デンプン、トウモロコシ、天然繊維、サトウキビ、ビート、柑橘類、木本植物、セルロース含有化合物、リグノセルロース含有化合物、ヘミセルロース含有化合物、油性木材原料;ペクチン、キチン、レバン、プルランなどの多糖類、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、前記バイオベースPETポリマーを、PET顆粒、PET樹脂、PET繊維、PETプリフォーム、PET包装体、PET容器、及びこれらの組み合わせから選択される製品に加工することを更に含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって得られるバイオベースPETポリマー。
- 請求項8に記載の方法によって得られるバイオベースPET製品。
