負荷の制御は、負荷ネットワークにおけるエネルギー貯蔵器を用いて、負荷ネットワークに対する負荷又は供給の変動を管理するように設計される。これにより、負荷コントローラは、ネットワークへ予めプログラムされた負荷曲線として知られる電流レベル及びランプレートを介して、既知の電流を保持することが可能になる。これらの予めプログラムされた負荷曲線により、保護素子又は装置は、電流及び/又は電圧を介して、システムが許容できる動作状態内にあることを検出することが可能になる。例えば、ランプレート及び/又は電流レベルの最悪の場合のシナリオは、負荷ネットワークの各々からの予めプログラムされた負荷曲線に基づいて決定されてもよい。システムに対して制限又はランプ波形を課すことによって、システムは、比較的に小さな変化率を保証することができる。

図3及び図15は、供給ネットワーク102から電流を取り出すために負荷コントローラ130によって使用されてもよい、予めプログラムされた負荷曲線300の例を示す。予めプログラムされた負荷曲線300は、負荷140による使用量と、特定のランプレートを有する特定のアンペア増分による変化とに基づく。予めプログラムされた負荷曲線300は、特定のランプレートに追従するプロトコルを指定し、いくつかの場合には、供給ネットワーク102から電流を受けるための戦略的な電流セットポイント(特定負荷レベルとも呼ぶ)を指定する。後者は、電源108によって提供されて負荷140によって要求されるランダム電流からは独立であってもよい。負荷コントローラ130は定電流装置であってもよく、この場合、負荷が電力の変化を必要とするとき、エネルギー貯蔵装置128によって電力が提供又は吸収され、これにより、供給ネットワークが新たな適切なセットポイントまで増大又は減少することができる。貯蔵器コントローラと組み合わされたエネルギー貯蔵装置128は、負荷140によって要求された電力の変動を補償することで、負荷ネットワークによって要求された電流の変動を低減しうる。さらに、エネルギー貯蔵装置128は、負荷コントローラ130が供給ネットワーク102からの電流を要求していない期間である時刻t1及びt2の間に、負荷140によって要求された電力を提供してもよい。供給ネットワーク102から負荷ネットワーク120への電流が管理されて予測可能である場合、システム電圧は、向上した安定性で正確に保持されうる。
供給ネットワーク及び負荷ネットワークの間で通信するために、供給ネットワークは、制御された電圧パルスを使用してもよく、これにより、その電圧のランプレート、レベル、又はこれら2つの組み合わせ(すなわち変化の波形)は、スイッチングハードウェアをオン又はオフすること、電力消費量を調整すること、又は電力発生を制限することのような、負荷ネットワークにおける特定のイベントをトリガするために使用される。パルスはまた、天候データ、システムセットポイント、及び他のメッセージのような他の情報を伝達することもできる。既存の電力線を利用することによって、パルス信号通信プラットフォームは、余分な機器の必要性を低減し、通信プラットフォームの信頼性を増大しうる。電力が送られている限り、システムは通信可能でありうる。1つの可能なプラグ及びプレー制御方式において、コマンドは、システムにおける特定の構成要素に向けてアドレス指定されるのではなく、すべての構成要素に向けてブロードキャストされ、各構成要素はブロードキャストされたメッセージに基づいて応答する。図5に、そのような制御方式の一例を示す。代替として、一連のパルスを用いて、装置に固有のコマンドが送られてもよい。例えば、第1のパルス又は一組のパルスが装置をアドレス指定し、それに続く1つ又は複数のパルスにより、識別された装置に向けられたコマンド又は情報を伝達する。通信を装置に固有のものとして、又は、ブロードキャスト通信として識別する最初のパルスが使用されてもよい。
故障の検出.
故障保護のために、供給ネットワーク102は保護装置110を含む。他の実施形態では、保護装置110は、負荷コントローラ130及び170の内部など、負荷ネットワーク内にあってもよい。保護装置は、供給コントローラの内部又は外部にあってもよい。複数の保護装置が配電線に沿って配置されてもよく、これにより、ラインを複数のセクションに分割することと、故障の協調された検出とを可能にする。保護装置110は、ソリッドステートリレー又は他のタイプの適切な電気的絶縁体を含んでもよい。保護装置110は、負荷ネットワーク120及び160を分離するように、配電線に貯蔵されたエネルギーを除去するように、他の変換器をシャットダウンするように、又は、故障状態が検出されたときに他のエネルギー源をシャットダウンするように動作する。
電力供給又は電力需要が対応する予めプログラムされた負荷曲線によって適合しないことを示す、指定された帯域外における任意の変動の場合、システムを非活性化するために保護装置110が起動されてもよい。代替として、保護装置110は、信号を他の装置に送ってトリップさせることによりシステムを非活性化させてもよい。保護装置110は、電流フローをイネーブル又はディセーブルする半導体スイッチ又はリレーを用いて実装されてもよい。所定の短い時間期間にわたって供給ネットワーク電圧を喪失したとき、負荷ネットワーク分離132及び172が開く。次いで、保護装置110は、負荷が接続されていないシステム100を再び活性化してもよい。
図7は、主ライン712及び負荷ネットワーク714、又はプロシューマ(prosumers:生産者かつ消費者)に接続された保護装置700のブロック図を示す。負荷ネットワーク120及び160は、保護装置を介して要求または提供される電流の変化が限定的かつ既知であるように、エネルギー貯蔵器を一体化し、また、多くの場合、再生可能発電を一体化する。
もう1つの実施形態では、ネットワークは、動作速度を向上させることにより、また、インバータを破損しなくとも外部機器への損傷又はユーザによって安全でない状態をもたらす可能性がある故障を含む、検出及び解消可能な故障の個数及びタイプを増大させることにより、インバータAC出力から供給を受ける機器を保護するスマートインバータを含む。説明されるスマートインバータシステムは、インバータのAC出力を検出及び/又は測定し、故障が発生したか否かを解析し、次いで、インバータ及び電力グリッドネットワークにおける他の装置を制御し、電力グリッド送電系統及びそれに接続された任意の装置を故障に起因する損傷から保護することができる。
産業において、いくつかの形式のインバータが既知である。本発明は、インバータに追加された制御装置を利用して、インバータの出力をモニタリングし、かつ、故障が検出されたとき、インバータを制御することができる。
例えば、電気機械的バージョンによれば、スイッチ806が2つの接点へ接続されることを可能にし、ここで、バネによってスイッチ806の1つの接点に向かってバイアスがかけられている。電磁石は、第1の接点に接続され、スイッチを第2の接点に向かって引く。スイッチ806が第2の接点に達したとき、電磁石への電流は中断され、電磁石はオフされ、これにより、バネは、スイッチ806を第1の接点に戻るように移動させる。このことは、スイッチ806が2つの接点間で急速に交替することを可能にし、2つの経路を介してフローを送ってAC供給を生成する。当該技術において既知のであるスイッチ806のための他の構成も使用可能であり、例えば、半導体スイッチ、トランジスタスイッチ、サイリスタスイッチ、その他を含む。
一実施形態では、制御装置812は、1つ又は複数のプロセッサ814及び1つ又は複数のメモリ記憶装置816を含む。1つ又は複数のメモリ記憶装置816は、1つ又は複数のプロセッサ814によって行なわれる命令と、電力グリッドの通常動作のためのパラメータ及び故障が生じたことを意味する条件のような、それらの命令を実行するのに必要なデータとを格納する。
このセンサは、電流、電圧、及び/又はAC供給の他の関連する特性を測定することができる。
図10は、1つ又は複数のプロセッサ1002、1つ又は複数のメモリ記憶装置1004、及び通信プラットフォーム1006を含む制御装置がインバータ1000に組み込まれている、もう1つの実施形態を示すブロック図である。この実施形態において、インバータ1000及び制御装置の両方は、上述のインバータ802及び制御装置812と同様の方法で動作する。
この技術は、保護動作を始めるために故障への大きなエネルギーフローに依存する従来のアプローチとは異なる。むしろ、この技術は、電流フローの予測性を用いて、マルチターミナルの差動電流保護方式を模倣する。予めプログラムされた負荷曲線から離れる任意の電流フローは、予想及び予測される電圧又は電流プロファイルに対応しないシステム電圧又は電流を示す。限られた電流を有するアクティブな電源は、ブレーカをトリップさせるか又はヒューズを切断する電流を提供しないので、高抵抗値故障及びライン中のアーク生成は、従来の電力グリッドシステムにでは発見されない可能性がある。故障状態は、本発明の実施形態における予想される電流及び電圧プロファイルと不整合であり、従って、システム100はトリップして問題を隔離するであろう。この故障検出アプローチは、電力グリッドシステム100の他の構成要素との通信を必要とすることなく、また、遠隔の端末における追加の電流測定装置による電流検出を必要とすることなく、従来の電力システム及び他のDC電力技術に比例して、より良好な信頼性、より少ない損傷、及びより高い安全性を有して、故障状態に対するより高速な応答を提供する。
Claims (38)
- 供給ネットワークの少なくとも一部と、
予めプログラムされた負荷曲線に従って上記供給ネットワークの少なくとも一部から1つ又は複数の負荷の電力を提供する負荷ネットワークへの電流フローをI1の電流レベルで制御する負荷コントローラと、
上記予めプログラムされた負荷曲線と不整合である電流パターンの検出に応答して、上記負荷コントローラから上記供給ネットワークの少なくとも一部を分離する保護システムとを備えた、
システム。 - 上記供給ネットワークはDCネットワークである、
