Claims (27)
- 積層造形プロセスにおいて用いられる金属粉末を分析する方法であって、
障壁の近傍に密集した状態の粉末を供給する工程と、
前記障壁を介して前記粉末の領域を照射する工程と、
前記粉末の照射領域の別々の部分から戻った照射放射線を前記障壁を介して別々に検出して、検出された放射線に基づいた出力を生成する工程と、
前記出力を処理することで前記粉末の1つまたは複数の特性を特定する工程と、
を備える方法。 - 前記障壁は、容器または導管の壁部であって、前記方法が、前記容器または導管に供給された前記金属粉末が前記障壁の近傍で密集された状態となるように、前記容器または導管から前記金属粉末が流れ出ることを防止する工程を備えることを特徴とする、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記容器または導管から前記金属粉末が流れ出ることを防止する工程は、バルブを閉じることを含むことを特徴とする、
請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記方法が積層造形機において実行されることを特徴とする、

請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記出力が前記粉末の領域のそれぞれの区域から戻った放射線の波長または検知された波長に基づく値を含んでいることを特徴とする、
請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記出力が前記粉末の領域のそれぞれの区域から戻った放射線の色を含んでいることを特徴とする、

請求項16に記載の方法。 - 所定数より多くの識別された区域が接続されているグループを識別することで、対象の粒子または粒子のグループが識別されることを特徴とする、
請求項17に記載の方法。 - 積層造形プロセスにおいて用いられる金属粉末を分析するための装置であって、
障壁を有し、使用の際には分析される粉末を密集した状態で含む金属粉末用の容器または導管と、
前記障壁を介して電磁放射線で前記粉末の領域を照射する照射装置と、
前記粉末の照射領域の別々の部分から戻った照射放射線を前記障壁を介して別々に検出して、検出された放射線に基づいた出力を生成する検出器と、
前記出力を処理して、前記粉末の1つまたは複数の特性を特定するプロセッサと、
を備える装置。 - 前記障壁は、積層造形機、粉末搬送装置、または粉末製造装置に設けられていることを特徴とする、
請求項19に記載の装置。 - 前記障壁は、積層造形装置の粉末容器または造形容器に設けられていることを特徴とする、
