Abstract
Description
a)布地を、少なくとも1つの洗浄性界面活性剤を含有する水性洗浄液と接触させる工程であって、当該水性洗浄液が、約7.0~約9.0の範囲の第1のpHを特徴とする、工程と、
b)当該水性洗浄液のpHを約10.0~約13.0の範囲の第2のpHまで上昇させ、その間、約5分間~約30分間の範囲の持続時間にわたって当該布地をこのような水性洗浄液と接触させ続ける、工程と、
c)当該布地を、約3.0~約6.0の範囲の第3のpHを特徴とする水性すすぎ液と接触させる工程と、
を含む、方法に関する。
本発明の方法は、任意の手段、例えば、手洗い、半自動機械洗浄、又は自動機械洗浄によって実行することができる。好ましくは、必ずしもそうではないが、以下に記載のとおり、当該方法は、予めプログラムされた洗浄、脱水、及びすすぎサイクルを有する自動洗濯機を使用することによって実行される。
本発明の発明方法の工程(a)、(b)、及び任意選択で(b1)で使用される水性洗浄液は、アニオン性界面活性剤、非イオン性界面活性剤、カチオン性界面活性剤、双性イオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤、及びこれらの組み合わせが挙げられるがこれらに限定されない、1つ以上の洗浄性界面活性剤を含有していてよい。
本発明の水性すすぎ液は、いかなる布地ケア剤もなしに、脱イオン水又は水道水のいずれかの水から本質的になっていてよい。あるいは、布地柔軟剤、表面改質剤、しわ防止剤、香料などからなる群から選択される1つ以上の布地ケア剤を含んでいてもよい。

全ての実験は、Peerless Systemsプラットフォームで行われる中規模ハイスループット機器で実施される。これは、並行して運転するGanguli and Eenderbug(1980)によって使用されたものと同様の三枚羽根ポスト攪拌器を備えた容量1Lの10個の容器からなる。容器の充填、洗浄、排水、及びすすぎがシステムによって自動的に行われるように、機器を自動化する。
シーケンス3:時間T=0分からT=10分まで初期pH=12で開始した30分間の洗浄サイクルを行い、次いで、T=10分からT=30分までpH=8に低下させ、続いて、pH=4で15分間酸性すすぎサイクルを行う比較例;
シーケンス4:時間T=0分からT=20分まで初期pH=8で開始した30分間の洗浄サイクルを行い、次いで、T=20分からT=30分までpH=11に上昇させ、続いて、pH=4で15分間酸性すすぎサイクルを行う比較例;
シーケンス5:時間T=0からT=10まで初期pH=8で開始した30分間の洗浄サイクルを行い、次いで、T=10からT=30までpH=12に上昇させ、続いて、pH=4で15分間酸性すすぎを行う比較例。注記:このシーケンスでは、主洗浄pHは約12で20分間保持される;
シーケンス6:時間T=0からT=20まで初期pH=8で開始した30分間の洗浄サイクルを行い、次いで、T=20からT=30までpH=12に上昇させ、続いて、pH=4で酸性すすぎを行う比較例。主洗浄pHを12で10分間保持したとき(シーケンス5における20分と比較して)、予想外の洗浄上の利点が観察される;
シーケンス7:時間T=0からT=2分まで初期pH=8で開始した30分間の洗浄サイクルを行い、次いで、T=2からT=12分までpH=12に上昇させ、次いで、T=12分からT=30分までpH=8にわずかに低下させ、続いて、pH=4で酸性すすぎを行う好ましい本発明のシーケンス。このシーケンスは、シーケンス6と同様の効果をもたらすが、身体汚れ(すなわち、表2のPC132皮脂及びASTM皮脂染み)の除去に好ましい。
Miele W1714フルスケールドラム式洗濯機で実験を実施する。全ての機械を使用前に煮沸し(90℃綿サイクル)、フィルタを空にし、洗浄する。

Claims (10)
- 布地を処理する方法であって、
a)布地を、少なくとも1つの洗浄性界面活性剤を含有する水性洗浄液と接触させる工程であって、前記水性洗浄液が、7.0~9.0の範囲の第1のpHを特徴とする、工程と、
b)前記水性洗浄液の前記pHを10.0~13.0の範囲の第2のpHまで上昇させ、その間、5分間~30分間の範囲の持続時間にわたって前記布地をこのような水性洗浄液と接触させ続ける、工程と、
c)前記布地を、3.0~6.0の範囲の第3のpHを特徴とする水性すすぎ液と接触させる工程と、
を含み、
工程(b)の後かつ工程(c)の前に、前記水性洗浄液の前記pHを低下させて7.0~9.0の範囲の第4のpHに戻す工程(b1)を更に含み、前記工程(b1)において、1分間~60分間の範囲の持続時間にわたって前記布地を前記水性洗浄液と接触させる、方法。 - 工程(b)において、前記第2のpHが10.5~12.5、好ましくは11.0~12.0の範囲である、及び/又は前記持続時間が8分~25分間、好ましくは10~20分間の範囲である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(b1)において、5分間~40分間の範囲の持続時間にわたって前記布地を前記水性洗浄液と接触させる、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)において、1分間~30分間、好ましくは2分間~20分間の範囲の持続時間にわたって前記布地を前記水性洗浄液と接触させる、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)において、1分間~30分間、好ましくは5分間~20分間、より好ましくは10分間~15分間の範囲の持続時間にわたって前記布地を前記水性すすぎ液と接触させる、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水性洗浄液が、アニオン性汚れ放出ポリマーを更に含み、前記アニオン性汚れ放出ポリマーが、好ましくはテレフタレートポリマー、より好ましくはプロピレンテレフタレートのアニオン性ポリエステルである、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水性洗浄液が、C10~C20直鎖状又は分枝状アルキルアルコキシル化サルフェート(AAS)及びC10~C20直鎖状又は分枝状アルキルアルコキシル化アルコール(AA)を本質的に含まず、好ましくは、前記水性洗浄液が、アルキルアルコキシル化界面活性剤を本質的に含まない、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水性洗浄液が、その主界面活性剤として1つ以上のC10~C20直鎖状アルキルベンゼンスルホネート(LAS)又はアルキルサルフェート(AS)を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水性洗浄液が、C10~C20直鎖状又は分枝状アルキルアルコキシル化サルフェート(AAS)及びC10~C20直鎖状又は分枝状アルキルアルコキシル化アルコール(AA)を本質的に含まず、好ましくは、前記水性洗浄液が、アルキルアルコキシル化界面活性剤を本質的に含まず、前記水性洗浄液が、その主界面活性剤として1つ以上のC10~C20直鎖状アルキルベンゼンスルホネート(LAS)又はアルキルサルフェート(AS)を含む、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
- 工程(c)中に5-クロロ-2-(4-クロロフェノキシ)フェノールを前記水性すすぎ液中に投入する、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
