Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 締結具であって、
長さを画定する第1の端部および第2の端部を有するシャンクと、
前記シャンクに設けられたねじ山であって、第1のねじ山角度を有する第1の領域と、第2のねじ山角度を有する第2の領域とを含み、前記ねじ山の少なくとも一部は、前記第1のねじ山角度を有する、前記ねじ山と、
前記ねじ山のそれぞれの巻きの間の前記シャンク内の弓状の戻り止め領域と、
を備える、締結具。 - 前記戻り止めは、前記シャンクの円形断面によって前記ねじ山のそれぞれの巻きから分離されている、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記戻り止めは、平坦な各分離領域の、前記戻り止めの第1の側及び前記戻り止めの第2の側の円形断面によって、それぞれの巻きから分離されている、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記戻り止めは、1つの分離領域の長さの少なくとも2倍の長さを有する、請求項3に記載の締結具。
- 前記シャンクは、谷径を有し、前記弓状の戻り止めの最下点は、前記シャンクの前記谷径よりも小さい低谷径を有する、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記谷径は、前記低谷径よりも1.125倍大きく、前記弓状の戻り止め領域は、約0.09インチの半径によって画定される、請求項5に記載の締結具。
- 前記戻り止めと前記シャンクの前記円形断面との間の遷移部は、丸い縁部を含む、請求項6に記載の締結具。
- 前記ねじ山の前記第1の領域は対称断面を有し、前記第2の領域は非対称断面を有する、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 締結具であって、
第1の端部におけるリード端部と、第2の端部における頭部と、谷径を有する表面と、を有するシャンクと、
前記谷径よりも大きいねじ直径を有し、前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部の間の前記シャンクに配置された連続螺旋ねじと、
前記螺旋ねじの巻きの間に配置され、前記シャンクの谷径よりも小さい低谷径を有する連続螺旋弓状の戻り止め領域と、
を備える、締結具。 - 前記戻り止めは、前記シャンクの前記表面の平坦な各分離領域によって、前記ねじ山のそれぞれの巻きから分離されている、請求項9に記載の締結具。
- 前記戻り止めは、1つの分離領域の長さの少なくとも2倍の長さを有する、請求項10に記載の締結具。
- 前記弓状の戻り止めの最下点は、前記低谷径を有する、請求項11に記載の締結具。
- 前記谷径は、前記低谷径よりも1.125倍大きく、前記弓状戻り止め領域は、約0.09インチの半径によって画定される、請求項12に記載の締結具。
- 前記戻り止めと前記シャンクの前記円形断面との間の遷移部は、丸い縁部を含む、請求項13に記載の締結具。
- 前記ねじ山は、前記第1の端部に隣接する第1の領域において対称なねじ山角度を有し、第2の領域において非対称なねじ山角度を有し、前記第1の領域のねじ山は、前記第2の領域の第2のねじ山角度よりも大きい第1のねじ山角度を有し、前記連続螺旋ねじの少なくとも一部は、鋸歯状縁部を含む、請求項11に記載の締結具。
