Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a front body structure of a vehicle, and more particularly to a front body structure of a vehicle provided with an impact absorbing member for pedestrian protection in front of a headlamp unit of the vehicle.
BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, energy absorption structures have been studied for the purpose of protecting pedestrians in the vicinity of vehicle headlamp units.
For example, in order to suppress the drag force when a pedestrian's head or thigh collides from the hood panel side, and to ensure sufficient drag force against a light collision from the bumper side, There has been proposed a front body structure of a vehicle provided with a load transmitting portion for transmitting an input load (for example, Patent Document 1).
However, according to the vehicle front body structure described in Patent Document 1, although the impact on the pedestrian can be suppressed by transmitting the load input to the headlamp to the rear of the vehicle, the impact directly on the headlamp itself Since the load is input, the headlamp unit itself may break down.
In addition, in a vehicle with a large body size such as an SUV, which has a relatively high vehicle height, the height from the ground to the top of the bonnet is high. collide with That is, it collides vertically against the front bumper fascia.
Here, the headlamp unit may be able to disperse the input load from above the vehicle by, for example, deformation of the mounting portion thereof. However, the headlamp unit usually has a high mounting strength in the front-rear direction, and cannot absorb sufficient energy against an input load such as a pedestrian's thighs colliding from the front in the horizontal direction. could join pedestrians.
On the other hand, in order to reduce the impact load applied to the pedestrian by the headlamp unit, for example, the headlamp unit itself may simply be laid out on the rear side of the vehicle. However, in such cases new problems arise in order to meet the design requirements of the front of the vehicle.
In response to the above problems, the present inventors have studied a vehicle front structure that satisfies both design requirements and pedestrian protection performance, taking into consideration the collision mode according to the vehicle class.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a front body structure for a vehicle that satisfies design requirements and achieves pedestrian protection performance at the same time. .
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides a headlamp unit for a vehicle, which includes a lens portion that emits light and a unit main body portion provided below the lens portion, and a lower portion of the lens portion of the headlamp unit. a bumper fascia having a protruding surface protruding forward of the vehicle from the headlamp unit; The absorbing member is characterized by absorbing collision energy by coming into contact with the unit main body of the headlamp unit at the time of a frontal collision.
According to the present invention configured as described above, the headlamp unit includes a lens portion that emits light and a unit body portion provided below the lens portion, and the bumper fascia is the lens portion of the headlamp unit. Since the protruding surface protrudes forward from the lower part of the vehicle, it is possible to satisfy the predetermined design requirements of the front part of the vehicle. Further, according to the present invention, the shock absorbing member is positioned inside the bumper fascia and in front of the vehicle with respect to the lens portion and the unit main body portion of the headlamp unit when viewed from the side. Collision energy is absorbed by coming into contact with the unit main body of the unit. Therefore, according to the present invention, in the event of a frontal collision (collision with a pedestrian), for example, the pedestrian's thighs do not collide directly with the headlamp unit, and the impact absorbing member in front of the headlamp unit receives the load. It is possible to receive and absorb the collision energy, thereby suppressing excessive increase in the collision load applied to the pedestrian. As a result, according to the present invention, it is possible to satisfy both design requirements and pedestrian protection performance.
Further, in the present invention, preferably, at least one of both side portions of the shock absorbing member in the vehicle width direction is provided with a support member for suppressing the tilting of the shock absorbing member in the vehicle width direction in the event of a frontal collision.
According to the present invention configured as described above, the support member suppresses the collapse of the impact absorbing member in the vehicle width direction in the event of a frontal collision, so that the impact energy can be absorbed more effectively by the impact absorbing member itself. A reduction in the degree can be suppressed.
Further, in the present invention, preferably, the impact absorbing member has a rectangular front portion, and the front portion is formed with a bead portion extending along a diagonal line thereof.
According to the present invention configured as described above, the collision load can be transmitted to the corners of the shock absorbing member via the bead portion to increase the reaction force at the initial stage of collision. The impact energy can be absorbed by the impact absorbing member itself.
Further, in the present invention, preferably, the impact absorbing member is formed integrally with the reinforcing member of the bumper fascia inside the bumper fascia.
According to the present invention configured in this manner, it is possible to more effectively satisfy the design requirements and achieve both pedestrian protection performance.
In the present invention, preferably, the impact absorbing member is formed with a projecting portion extending rearward of the vehicle, and the projecting portion comes into contact with the unit main body portion of the headlamp unit in the event of a frontal collision.
According to the present invention configured in this way, the impact energy can be absorbed more effectively by the impact absorbing member itself.
According to the vehicle front body structure of the present invention, it is possible to satisfy design requirements and achieve pedestrian protection performance.
A vehicle front body structure according to an embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

A pair of left and right apron members 22 extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle are provided on the upper side of the
Each apron member 22 has a vehicle front end portion curved inward in the vehicle width direction, and these end portions are connected to each other by a shroud

The vehicle 1 is also provided with a

The
Next, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, in the present embodiment, the
Corresponding to such arrangement, as shown in FIG. 1, the
Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the

Next, the configuration of the
First, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 7, the

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the
Next, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5 to 7, the
Next, the effects of the vehicle front body structure according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described.
First, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the
Further, according to the present embodiment, the shock absorbing portion (shock absorbing member) 30 is positioned inside the
As a result, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to satisfy both the design requirements and the pedestrian protection performance.
Further, according to the present embodiment, at least one of the vehicle width direction side surfaces 30a and 30b of the
Further, according to the present embodiment, the
In addition, according to the present embodiment, the
