Claims (12)
- 外周壁と、前記外周壁の内側に配設され、一方の端面から他方の端面まで延びる流路を形成する複数のセルを区画形成する隔壁と、周方向に互いに離間して前記外周壁から径方向内方に延び、前記外周壁が開口するように設けられた複数のスリットと、各スリットに充填された充填材とを備えるハニカム構造体を製造するためのハニカム構造体の製造方法であって、
前記スリットを備えるハニカム構造体素体を準備する準備工程と、
前記ハニカム構造体素体の外周面に前記充填材を供給し、前記ハニカム構造体素体の外周面の法線に対して所定角度だけ傾けた当接部材の先端部分を前記外周面に所定の力で押し当てつつ、前記ハニカム構造体素体を回転させて、前記当接部材により前記スリットに前記充填材を充填し、前記スリットに充填材が充填されたハニカム構造体を得る充填工程と
を含む、
ハニカム構造体の製造方法。 - 前記法線に対する前記当接部材の傾斜角度は30°以上かつ75°以下である、
請求項1に記載のハニカム構造体の製造方法。 - 前記外周面への前記当接部材の先端部分の押し当て力は1N以上かつ150N以下である、
請求項1又は2に記載のハニカム構造体の製造方法。 - 前記当接部材の先端部分を前記外周面に押し当てた状態で、前記ハニカム構造体素体を1周以上かつ50周以下だけ回転させる、

前記スリットを備えるハニカム構造体素体を回転自在に支持する素体支持部と、
前記ハニカム構造体素体の外周面の法線に対して所定角度だけ傾けた当接部材の先端部分を前記外周面に所定の力で押し当てるための当接部材支持部と
を備え、
前記ハニカム構造体素体の外周面に前記充填材を供給した状態で、前記当接部材支持部により支持された前記当接部材の先端部分を前記外周面に押し当てつつ、前記素体支持部により前記ハニカム構造体素体を回転させて、前記当接部材により前記スリットに前記充填材を充填するように構成されている、

前記セルの延在方向に係る両側から前記ハニカム構造体素体の径方向中央部を挟持するための一対の第1挟持部と、
