2.ポリプロピレン樹脂製のキャップ外側の底部にHA板(10mm×10mm)を固定した後、上記各検体中に当該HA板を30秒間浸漬した。
3.各検体中に浸漬後、上記キャップ外側の底部に固定されたHA板を、上記スポンジ上の口紅塗布部に1N程度の圧で押し付けた。
4.以下の式により、HA板への口紅付着率を求めた。
口紅付着率(%)=(口紅付着面積値/接触面積値)×100
なお、口紅付着面積値および接触面積値は以下により求めた。
まず、スポンジ上の口紅塗布部に押圧したHA板の主表面を撮影した。次に、当該HA板の主表面の面積100mm2(10mm×10mm)の画像中のピクセル数(px)を、画像処理ソフト「ImageJ」を用いて測定した。さらに、当該HA板の主表面に付着した口紅の面積(px)を、同様に画像処理ソフト「ImageJ」を用いて計算した。得られたHAの主表面の面積(px)を「接触面積値」(a)、口紅付着面積(px)を「口紅付着面積値」(b)とした。
なお「ImageJ」はアメリカ国立衛生研究所(NIH)で開発されたオープンソースでパブリックドメインの画像処理ソフトウェアである。

Next, the number of pixels (px) in an image of a main surface area of 100 mm 2 (10 mm×10 mm) of the HA plate was measured using image processing software "ImageJ". Further, the area (px) of the lipstick adhering to the main surface of the HA plate was similarly calculated using the image processing software "ImageJ". The obtained main surface area (px) of HA was defined as the "contact area value" (a), and the lipstick adhesion area (px) was defined as the "lipstick adhesion area value" (b).
"ImageJ" is open source and public domain image processing software developed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

本発明の剤を用いた実施例1~5の検体の場合、水を用いた参考例1と比較して、HA板に対する口紅付着率が顕著に低い結果となった。
水を用いた参考例1において口紅が多く付着した理由としては、スポンジ上の口紅塗布部にHA板を押し付けた際に、HA板に付着した水滴が油溶性の口紅に弾かれることにより、HA板と口紅が直接接触したためだと考えられる。
一方、本発明の剤を用いた実施例1~5の検体で処理した場合に口紅の付着率が低かった理由としては、当該検体がHA板に付着し残存するため、スポンジ上の口紅塗布部にHA板を押し付けた際に、HA板と口紅の間に当該検体の相が形成されることにより、HA板と口紅との直接的な接触が抑制されたためだと考えられる。
以上の結果から、第4級アンモニウム塩、及びグリチルリチン酸又はその塩は、歯面に対する口紅の付着を抑制することが示された。

From the above results, it was shown that the quaternary ammonium salt and glycyrrhizic acid or its salt suppress the adhesion of lipstick to the tooth surface.

本発明の剤の、樹脂に対する口紅の付着抑制効果を確認すべく、ポリプロピレン樹脂製のボトルキャップを用いて以下の試験を行った。検体は試験例1と同じものを用いた。

4.以下の式により、ボトルキャップ外側の底部への口紅付着率を求めた。

以上の結果から、第4級アンモニウム塩、及びグリチルリチン酸又はその塩は、樹脂に対する口紅の付着を抑制することが示された。

3.ボトルキャップに付着した口紅を観察した。

図3の写真図からも分かるように、実施例1の検体を用いた場合は、矢印で示した箇所に対して、ボトルキャップへの口紅の付着が抑制され、ボトルキャップに付着した口紅の除去が容易になる傾向が確認された。一方、参考例1の水を用いた場合は、丸で囲んだ箇所等に口紅が付着しており、口紅の付着抑制効果が十分得られなかった。
以上の結果から、第4級アンモニウム塩、及びグリチルリチン酸又はその塩は、ポリプロピレン樹脂製ボトルキャップへの口紅の付着を抑制することが示された。また、本作用は、ボトルキャップを介した口唇用剤由来成分の製品本体への混入、及び、口唇用剤由来成分の他者への付着・摂取のリスクを軽減するなど、複数人が使用する状態においても製品を衛生的に保つことに寄与する可能性が示された。

Possibility of contributing to keeping products hygienic was shown.
