Claims (40)
- 空気発泡された水溶性液体クリーニング剤を航空機に設けられたガス・タービン・エンジンに提供するためのシステムであって、該ガス・タービン・エンジンは入口および圧縮機を有し、前記システムは、
周囲圧力よりも大きい圧力で空気を提供する空気ポンプと、
圧力により前記水溶性液体クリーナを提供する液体ポンプと、
前記空気ポンプから空気を受け取る空気入口と、前記液体ポンプから液体を受け取る液体入口と、泡出口とを有する核生成デバイスであって、前記加圧された空気と前記液体とを乱流式に混合して泡を形成する核生成デバイスと、
泡導管を通して前記泡を受け取るノズルであって、前記ノズルは、非噴霧式であって、泡の低速流を前記ガス・タービン・エンジンの前記入口または前記圧縮機へ送出するように適合され構成されるノズルと
を備え、
前記核生成デバイスが空気加圧されたプレナムを備え、該プレナムは、複数の空気流開口を有し、前記液体の流れが供給されるチャンバ内に配置され、前記開口は、空気を前記液体流に放出して前記泡を形成するようになっている、システム。 - 前記核生成デバイスによって受け取られる前記空気が、約10psig超え且つ約120psig未満の圧力を有し、前記核生成デバイスによって受け取られる前記液体が、約10psig超え且つ約120psig未満の圧力を有するようになっている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記泡の低速流が、約91.44cm(約3フィート)毎秒超え且つ約457.2cm(約15フィート)毎秒未満の速度を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズルは、前記泡の流れを前記ガス・タービン・エンジンの抽気ダクト、又は前記ガス・タービン・エンジンに装着されたチューブのマニホールドのうちの1つに提供するように適合され構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記泡の低速流が、略一定の直径を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズルが第1の流れ面積を有し、前記導管が第2の流れ面積を有し、前記第1の流れ面積は、前記第2の流れ面積とほぼ同じである、請求項1に記載のシステム。

を備え、
前記核生成デバイスが、加圧された空気を加圧された液体と混合チャンバ内で混合するようになっており、
前記核生成デバイスが、前記混合チャンバの下流側に、前記ノズルにより受け取られた泡のセルサイズを成長させるセル成長チャンバを備える、システム。 - 前記核生成デバイスによって受け取られる前記空気が、約10psig超え且つ約120psig未満の圧力を有し、前記核生成デバイスによって受け取られる前記液体が、約10psig超え且つ約120psig未満の圧力を有するようになっている、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記泡の低速流が、約91.44cm(約3フィート)毎秒超え且つ約457.2cm(約15フィート)毎秒未満の速度を有する、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズルは、前記泡の流れを前記ガス・タービン・エンジンの抽気ダクト、又は前記ガス・タービン・エンジンに装着されたチューブのマニホールドのうちの1つに提供するように適合され構成されている、請求項9に記載のシステム。

前記核生成デバイスが、加圧された空気を加圧された液体と混合チャンバ内で混合するようになっており、
前記核生成デバイスが、前記混合チャンバの下流側に、前記ノズルにより受け取られた混合された泡の乱流を低減させる乱流低減チャンバを備える、システム。 - 前記核生成デバイスによって受け取られる前記空気が、約10psig超え且つ約120psig未満の圧力を有し、前記核生成デバイスによって受け取られる前記液体が、約10psig超え且つ約120psig未満の圧力を有するようになっている、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記泡の低速流が、約91.44cm(約3フィート)毎秒超え且つ約457.2cm(約15フィート)毎秒未満の速度を有する、請求項17に記載のシステム。

前記核生成デバイスが、液体を第1の方向に流し、第1の方向とは少なくとも部分的に反対の速度成分を有する第2の方向にガスを注入するようになっている、システム。 - 前記核生成デバイスによって受け取られる前記空気が、約10psig超え且つ約120psig未満の圧力を有し、前記核生成デバイスによって受け取られる前記液体が、約10psig超え且つ約120psig未満の圧力を有するようになっている、請求項25に記載のシステム。
