Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a vehicle seat, and more particularly to a vehicle seat having a seat back frame supporting a headrest pillar.
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion, a seat back, and a headrest, and the seat back and the seat cushion are provided with a frame member forming a framework. The frame member is composed of an arch-shaped frame, and a headrest guide through which a pillar (also called a stay) hanging from the headrest is inserted is provided on the upper portion of the frame member. Conventionally, the headrest guide is attached to the upper portion of the frame member by welding or the like in a recess by press working or the like. Patent Document 1 discloses a headrest guide (referred to as a support bracket in Patent Document 1) attached to a fitting formed in a frame member.
In a conventional vehicle seat, the pillar of the headrest is longer than the headrest guide, so when the pillar is inserted into the headrest guide, the lower end of the pillar is positioned below the lower end of the headrest guide. Therefore, the lower end of the pillar is processed into a hemispherical shape in preparation for contacting the back of the occupant (seat occupant) or going out from the seat back. However, since processing this hemispherical shape is costly and time-consuming, there has been a demand for a structure that holds the headrest without processing the lower end of the pillar.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat having a seat back frame that holds a headrest without processing the lower ends of pillars.
The object is a vehicle seat including a seat back, a headrest provided on the seat back, and a seat back frame forming a skeleton of the seat back, wherein the seat back frame comprises a pair of back side frames. and an upper frame that connects the pair of back side frames, and a headrest guide that holds the pillar of the headrest, the upper frame has a holder portion that holds the headrest guide, and the holder portion is solved by having a cover portion covering the lower end portion of the pillar held by the headrest guide at the lower end of the holder portion.
Since the holder portion of the upper frame has the cover portion that covers the lower end portion of the pillar, it is possible to prevent the lower end portion of the pillar from coming into contact with the back of the occupant or coming out of the seat back. Therefore, it becomes unnecessary to process the lower end portion of the pillar into a hemispherical shape.

<
The
As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 and 7, the
The
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, each of the
The
Moreover, as shown in FIG. 5, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the lower end of the

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the
Note that the hat shape also includes a cap shape. In other words, the hat shape also includes the case where the
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the
Further, as shown in FIG. 4, a
Thus, in this embodiment, both the
In this embodiment, the
For example, the
Also, the
