1.1. 全体の構成
まず、本実施形態に係る射出成形装置について、図面を参照しながら説明する。図1は、本実施形態に係る射出成形装置100を模式的に示す側面図である。なお、図1では、互いに直交する3軸として、X軸、Y軸、およびZ軸を示している。X軸方向およびY軸方向は、例えば、水平方向である。Z軸方向は、例えば、鉛直方向である。
図2は、射出成形装置100を模式的に示す図1のII-II線断面図である。図2では、射出部20、型部30、および型締部40を図示している。射出部20は、図2に示すように、例えば、制御部50および可塑化部61を含む可塑化装置60と、射出制御部70と、ノズル80と、を有している。
図5は、射出成形装置100を模式的に示す断面図であって、図1に射出成形装置100を、Y軸およびZ軸を含むYZ平面に平行な面で切断した場合の断面図である。可塑化装置60は、図5に示すように、通路規定部150と、冷却部160と、材料検知部170と、を含む。なお、便宜上、図5では、可塑化装置60を簡略化して図示している。
可塑化装置60では、材料を貯留するホッパー10と連結され、ホッパー10から材料が供給される供給通路152を規定する通路規定部150と、供給通路152と連通する材料導入部117、および、フラットスクリュー110を有し、フラットスクリュー110の回転によって、材料導入部117から供給された材料を可塑化して、溶融材料を生成する可塑化部61と、供給通路152の材料の有無を検知する材料検知部170と、を含む。そのため、材料検知部がホッパー内の材料の有無を検知する場合に比べて、材料を交換する際に、供給通路152に残存する材料の量を低減することができる。したがって、捨てられる材料の量を低減することができる。さらに、可塑化装置60では、材料検知部170が通路規定部150に設けられているため、可塑化部61の構造の簡素化を図ることができる。
2.1. 第1変形例
次に、本実施形態の第1変形例に係る射出成形装置について、図面を参照しながら説明する。図7は、本実施形態の第1変形例に係る射出成形装置200を模式的に示す側面図である。
次に、本実施形態の第2変形例に係る射出成形装置について説明する。上述した射出成形装置100では、成形品を形成するための材料として、ペレット状のABSが用いられていた。
次に、本実施形態に係る三次元造形装置について、図面を参照しながら説明する。図8は、本実施形態に係る三次元造形装置300を模式的に示す側面図である。
