Abstract
Description
(a)初期ポリオレフィン粒子であって、
(i)1種以上の炭化水素ポリオレフィン、
(ii)1種以上の非炭化水素ポリオレフィン、および
(iii)1種以上の架橋剤を含む初期ポリオレフィン粒子の水性媒体中の分散液を提供することと;
(b)初期ポリオレフィン粒子を過酸化物開始剤と接触させて、架橋ポリオレフィン粒子を形成することとを含む方法である。
(i)架橋ポリオレフィン粒子の水性媒体中の分散液を提供することと、
(ii)架橋ポリオレフィン粒子の存在下で1種以上のビニルモノマーに対してエマルション重合を行い、複合粒子の分散液を生成することとを含む方法である。
(I)架橋ポリオレフィンコア、および
(II)1種以上のビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む完全または部分的シェルを含む。
(I)架橋ポリオレフィンコア、および
(II)1種以上のビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む完全または部分的シェルを含む。
ゲル分率=100*WGEL/WTOT。

Claims (9)
- ポリカーボネートを改質する方法であって、前記ポリカーボネートを複合粒子とブレンドすることを含み、前記複合粒子は、
(I)架橋されたポリオレフィンコアと、
(II)1種以上のビニルモノマーの重合単位を含む完全または部分的シェルとを含む方法。 - 前記ビニルモノマーが、1種以上の(メタ)アクリルモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ビニルモノマーが、(メタ)アクリル酸の1種以上の非置換アルキルエステルを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、1種以上の炭化水素ポリオレフィンおよび1種以上の非炭化水素ポリオレフィンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、−30℃以下のTgを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、10重量%以上のゲル分率を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記架橋されたポリオレフィンコアが、前記架橋されたポリオレフィンコアの重量および前記シェルの重量の合計に基づいて、60重量%〜90重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複合粒子が、前記複合粒子の重量および前記ポリカーボネートの重量の合計に基づいて、0.5重量%〜20重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリカーボネートを前記複合粒子およびプロセス安定剤とブレンドすることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
