Abstract
Description
本発明は、包装材料、より具体的には、ガスおよび/または水分バリア特性を有する包装材料に関し、しかも、当該材料は、少なくとも50%の亜鉛アイオノマーを含む層、ポリエチレンの層およびガスバリアを形成する層のバリア材料を含む。本発明はまた、前記バリア材料を使用する包装製品に関する。そのような製品は、特に、化粧品およびパーソナルケア製品に適したパッケージ(包装)である。
敏感で、油性物質を含み、水分または湿気を多く含む化粧品などの製品に包装材料を使用する場合、通常、適切なバリア特性を提供するためにアルミニウムが使用される。
これらのタイプの適用での使用に適した、より持続可能でアルミニウムを含まないバリア材料を製造するには、いくつかの技術的な問題に対処する必要がある。まず、パッケージのガスと透湿性は十分に低い必要がある。第二に、バリア層は十分に薄く、柔軟性があり、ヒートシール可能で接着可能である必要がある。理想的には、材料は熱に十分に耐性があり、印刷が鉱油を含むインクを使用して、または鉱油の使用を伴うプロセスで実行される場合など、印刷に適している必要もある。
驚くべきことに、少なくとも50%の亜鉛アイオノマーを含む層、ポリエチレンの層およびガスバリアを形成する層を含む材料を提供することにより、特に有利な特性が達成されることが見出された。本発明による材料は、ヒートシール可能であり、アルミニウム層がない場合にバリア特性を提供する。本発明は、高い耐久性と強度を有するバリア材料を提供し、例えば鉱油を含有する印刷インクを使用して実施される印刷にも適している。
本発明は、亜鉛アイオノマーの層、ポリエチレンの層、および、ガスバリアを形成する層、を含むバリア材料に関する。
・少なくとも50%の亜鉛アイオノマーを含む単一の層;
・ポリエチレンの少なくとも1層;及び
・ガスバリアを形成する単一の層。
・重量が5〜50g/m2で、少なくとも50%の亜鉛アイオノマーを含む単一の層;
・ポリエチレンの少なくとも1層;及び
・ガスバリアを形成する単一の層。
構造の例は、次のとおり:
・亜鉛アイオノマー/ポリエチレン/結合層/ガスバリア(亜鉛アイオノマー/ポリエチレン/結合層/EVOHまたは亜鉛アイオノマー/ポリエチレン/MFCなど)
・亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/ポリエチレン/ガスバリア(亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/ポリエチレン/EVOHまたは亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/ポリエチレン/MFCなど)
・亜鉛アイオノマー/ポリエチレン/結合層/ガスバリア(亜鉛アイオノマー/ポリエチレン/結合層/EVOHまたは亜鉛アイオノマー/ポリエチレン/結合層/MFCなど)
・亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/ガスバリア(ここで、結合層はポリエチレンベースの樹脂)、
及び、次のとおり:
・ポリエチレン/亜鉛アイオノマー/ガスバリア(ポリエチレン/亜鉛アイオノマー/EVOHまたはポリエチレン/亜鉛アイオノマー/MFCなど)
・ポリエチレン/亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/ガスバリア(ポリエチレン/亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/EVOHまたはポリエチレン/亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/MFCなど)。
・亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/ポリエチレン/結合層/EVOH/結合層/ポリエチレン
・亜鉛アイオノマー/結合層/EVOH

下記の材料を、袋の内部に試験溶液(メイクアップ)を含有する袋として密封した。袋を45℃/85%RHの条件で保管し、保存期間の加速試験を行った。袋の重量を測定して、袋からの重量損失を測定した。重量損失は、蒸発によって袋から失われた液体の量を示す。つまり、重量損失が少ないほど、材料のガス透過性が低くなる。

Claims (11)
- 少なくとも50%の亜鉛アイオノマーを含む層、ポリエチレンの層、およびガスバリアを形成する層、を含むバリア材料。
- ガスバリアを形成する層が、ポリアミドおよびEVOHから選択される、請求項1に記載のバリア材料。
- ポリエチレンの層とガスバリアを形成する層との間、および/または、少なくとも50%の亜鉛アイオノマーを含む層とガスバリアを形成する層との間に、結合層をさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載のバリア材料。
- バリア材料の各層が5〜50g/m2の範囲の重量を有し、存在する場合、結合層が2〜20g/m2の範囲の重量を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のバリア材料。
- バリア材料の各層が8〜40g/m2の範囲の重量を有し、存在する場合、結合層が4〜10g/m2の範囲の重量を有する、請求項4に記載のバリア材料。
- バリア材料の各層が10〜35g/m2の範囲の重量を有し、存在する場合、結合層が4〜10g/m2の範囲の重量を有する、請求項5に記載のバリア材料。
- 少なくとも50%の亜鉛アイオノマーを含む1つの単層、少なくとも1つのポリエチレンの層、およびガスバリアを形成する1つの単層を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のバリア材料。
- バリア材料の総重量が30〜200g/m2の範囲である、請求項7に記載のバリア材料。
- バリア材料の酸素透過率が20cm3/m2*日未満である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のバリア材料。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のバリア材料を含む包装材料。
- バリア材料が紙または板紙基材上に積層または押し出されている、請求項10に記載の包装材料。
