Abstract
Description
第1実施形態について説明する。図1に示す測距モジュールは、車両に搭載され、電磁波の送受信によって車両と物体との距離を測定するものであり、シリコンフォトニクスによってSOI(Silicon on Insulator)基板上に形成された集積チップで構成されている。電磁波としては、光やミリ波が用いられる。
第2実施形態について説明する。本実施形態は、第1実施形態に対して信号受信部40の構成を変更したものであり、その他については第1実施形態と同様であるため、第1実施形態と異なる部分についてのみ説明する。
第3実施形態について説明する。本実施形態は、第1実施形態に対して物体との距離の測定方法を変更したものであり、その他については第1実施形態と同様であるため、第1実施形態と異なる部分についてのみ説明する。
なお、本発明は上記した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲に記載した範囲内において適宜変更が可能である。

Claims (3)
- 電磁波を送信する信号送信部(10)と、
前記信号送信部が送信した電磁波を空間に走査して投射電磁波とする走査部(30)と、
投射電磁波の物体からの反射電磁波を受信して受信信号を出力する信号受信部(40)と、
前記信号受信部の受信信号に基づいて物体との距離を算出する信号処理部(50)と、を備える測距モジュールであって、
前記信号受信部は、
投射電磁波のメインローブ、および、2つのグレーティングローブの反射電磁波を受信するように設定された第1受信部(40a)と、
投射電磁波のメインローブ、および、一方のグレーティングローブの反射電磁波を受信するように設定された第2受信部(40b)と、
投射電磁波のメインローブ、および、他方のグレーティングローブの反射電磁波を受信するように設定された第3受信部(40c)と、を備え、
前記信号処理部は、前記第1受信部、前記第2受信部、前記第3受信部の受信信号の組み合わせに基づいて、前記信号受信部が受信した電磁波が、投射電磁波のメインローブ、一方のグレーティングローブ、他方のグレーティングローブのいずれの反射電磁波であるかを判定し、物体との距離を算出する測距モジュール。 - 前記信号処理部は、
前記第1受信部の受信信号と前記第2受信部の受信信号を加算して第1加算信号とし、
前記第1受信部の受信信号と前記第3受信部の受信信号を加算して第2加算信号とし、
前記第1受信部の受信信号と前記第2受信部の受信信号と前記第3受信部の受信信号を加算して第3加算信号とし、
前記第1加算信号、前記第2加算信号、前記第3加算信号に現れた複数の信号のうち、前記第1加算信号、前記第2加算信号、前記第3加算信号で共通して信号強度が最大となった時刻の信号を、前記信号受信部が投射電磁波のメインローブの反射電磁波を受信して出力した受信信号と判定し、
該信号を除いた残りの信号のうち、前記第2加算信号よりも前記第1加算信号において大きく現れた信号を、前記信号受信部が投射電磁波の一方のグレーティングローブの反射電磁波を受信して出力した受信信号と判定し、
前記第1加算信号よりも前記第2加算信号において大きく現れた信号を、前記信号受信部が投射電磁波の他方のグレーティングローブの反射電磁波を受信して出力した受信信号と判定する請求項1に記載の測距モジュール。 - 前記信号受信部は、前記第1受信部を2つ備え、
前記信号処理部は、2つの前記第1受信部、前記第2受信部、前記第3受信部の受信信号の組み合わせに基づいて、前記信号受信部が受信した電磁波が、投射電磁波のメインローブ、一方のグレーティングローブ、他方のグレーティングローブのいずれの反射電磁波であるかを判定する請求項1または2に記載の測距モジュール。
