Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a glass material spraying device, and more particularly to a glass material spraying device capable of mitigating the influence of heat conducted from a thermal spray target and a heating furnace.
When forming a film of another metal or glass on the surface of a base metal such as a metal, a thermal spraying method is used. When a film of a metal different from the base material is formed on the base material by thermal spraying, the metal adheres to the base material more firmly than plating (plating) to form a film. Further, when a vitreous material is adhered to a base material by spraying to form a film, the vitreous material adheres to the base material more firmly than a broom (amber) to form a film. Therefore, thermal spraying is suitable for applications of products that require durability.
In the thermal spraying device, a carrier gas is mixed with a material to be sprayed such as metal, glass, and ceramics. Plasma is generated by the separately supplied gas and high current to generate high heat, and the material to be sprayed is melted. Then, the molten material to be sprayed is discharged from the thermal spraying device toward the base material to be sprayed (see
Here, when a metal sprayed material is sprayed from a thermal spraying device onto the base material, the base material itself is heated. Therefore, cold air may be blown to the base material to cool the base material. In thermal spraying of metal, it is easy to adhere to the base metal due to the ductility derived from the metal. Further, since the metals are made of each other, there are very few problems such as peeling and cracking even if there is a difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion during cooling.
On the other hand, the coefficient of thermal expansion (coefficient of linear expansion) differs between the base metal and the glassy material to be sprayed. Due to the specific heat, the base metal is cooled quickly. Therefore, the speed of volume shrinkage differs from that of the glassy sprayed material. When thermal spraying similar to that of a metal subject to thermal spraying, that is, thermal spraying while cooling with air as described above, cracks occur in the glassy coating formed by thermal spraying during thermal spraying and after cooling, and the coating is formed from the cracked portion. Peeling occurs. This is a manufacturing defect.
Therefore, in the case of thermal spraying of a glassy material to be sprayed, it is necessary to adjust the temperature drop at the time of thermal spraying. From this, the base material itself is heated to 400 ° C. or higher, and the glassy material to be sprayed is sprayed onto the base material in a high temperature state. Obviously, due to the heating of the base material itself, the thermal spraying device is exposed to heat from the heating furnace of the base material, the gas burner that directly heats the base material, and the base material itself, which increases the risk of thermal damage to the thermal spraying device. Therefore, the safety mechanism of the thermal spraying device is activated and the device is stopped. If this happens, the continuous operation of the device will be hindered, and the productivity cannot be increased.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and in a thermal spraying device for spraying a glassy material to be sprayed, the thermal spraying device is protected from the influence of heat exposure, and the continuous operation of the thermal spraying device is realized. The glass material spraying device of the present invention is a glass material spraying device that sprays a glassy material to be sprayed against a heated metal base material, and the glass material spraying device heats the supplied material to be sprayed. A thermal spray gun main body having a tubular heating block that melts and a discharge port that ejects a molten material to be sprayed from inside the heating block, and an external cooling unit that contacts at least a part of the outer surface of the heating block. The main part of the thermal spraying device can be protected from the effects of heat exposure. Further, since the cooling performance is improved, continuous operation of the thermal spraying device can be realized.
The usage situation of the glass
It is necessary to match the coefficient of thermal expansion (coefficient of thermal expansion, coefficient of linear expansion) of the metal of the metal base material W and the glassy spray material G within a predetermined range. As explained in the background art, the coefficient of thermal expansion (coefficient of thermal expansion, coefficient of linear expansion) of the metal of the metal base material W and the general glass usually do not match. Further, when the glassy material to be sprayed G is sprayed with the metal base material W as it is, the glassy material is welded as points on the surface of the metal base material, and air bubbles are generated in the glassy coating to increase the porosity. do. The vitreous material becomes a molten state at the time of thermal spraying, and expands and adheres due to its thermal expansion. Although some heat is applied to the base material by the thermal spray frame, the temperature does not reach high. Therefore, the expansion of the base material is different from the expansion at the time of melting the glass, and the glassy material shrinks more than the base material at the time of cooling. Therefore, intrusion occurs. Further, in the case of a glassy material having a lower expansion coefficient than that of a metal, a phenomenon of claw skipping (partial peeling) occurs at the time of cooling, and the welding strength of the glassy film is not accompanied. As a result, the glassy film formed by the material to be sprayed after thermal spraying is easily peeled off.
In order to eliminate this point, the metal base material W itself is preheated to a temperature close to thermal expansion at the time of glass melting. The metal base material W is carried into the heating portion H of FIG. 1 and heated to 400 to 1200 ° C. The heating temperature is based on the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion of the material to be sprayed G and the components corresponding to the desired properties of the glass film. The heating unit H is appropriately used for an electric furnace, a gas furnace, a direct flame of a gas burner, or the like. The metal base material W is taken out from the heating unit H and subjected to thermal spraying by the glass
Here, as can be understood from FIG. 1, the glass
The glass
FIG. 3 is a vertical cross-sectional view of the thermal spray gun
The glassy sprayed material G reaches the
Further, in the spray gun

FIG. 5A is a side view of the
The cooling
The shape of the

A
When supplying the cooling liquid (water in the embodiment) to the cooling piping unit 55 (see FIG. 5) of the
As can be understood from the perspective views of FIGS. 8 and 9, the thermal spraying gun
Various pipes connected to the thermal spray gun
As can be understood from the partial side view of FIG. 11, the glass material spraying device 1 (see FIG. 2) of the embodiment is inserted into the
The material to be sprayed in the molten state is ejected to the outside from the

Subsequently, in order to stop the supply of the coolant (cooling water), both the
Since the glass material thermal spraying device of the embodiment can also cool the external side of the thermal spraying device, it is possible to protect the thermal spraying device from the influence of heat exposure and realize continuous operation of the thermal spraying device. Therefore, it is promising as an alternative to glass spraying equipment.
